The elegant four-star Mercure Bergamo Centro Palazzo Dolci hotel is located opposite the Papa Giovanni convention center, a stone's throw away from the medieval town of Bergamo Alta and 328 yards (300 m) from the train station, combining business and culture. The hotel boasts 88 sophisticated rooms featuring all modern comforts and an elegant bar. Complimentary WIFI throughout the hotel. Private paying car park nearby. Located 2.5 miles (4 km) from Orio al Serio International Airport
Pros: Good position
Cons: Not clean
Pros: Great location close to the station, good to reach coming by train or bus from the airport. Some shops/restaurants are close. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Very nice bathroom. Everything as it should be. I would come again.
Cons: The view on the top floor - looking at a roof, making it feel like being in the basement. But that is just nitpicking, at least I could open the window for fresh air and for views I went to the citta alta:)
Pros: Very helpful staff.
Pros: Standard quality of a room of a hotel chain, with all basic facilities, and anonymous as expected. It is located close to the station, and probably the majority of guests are just quick travellers only, with frequent turn over. We did not have breakfast there, and tehre are cafeterias close by.
Cons: The check in was a bit slow also because there was only one person at the reception. This was a very helpful lady, but it was clear that she was overwhelmed. Plan some time also for the check out. The decor is altogether a bit unwelcoming and cold - the reception itself looks like the continuation of the train station.
Strategically located by the exit from the Dalmine toll booth (A4 highway Milano-Venezia) and 4.4 miles (7 km) from Bergamo Orio al Serio international airport (BGY), the hotel offers 82 modern, functional rooms and a restaurant. A bar, 2 meeting rooms and a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment are also available. Complimentary WIFI throughout the hotel. A private car park with direct access to the hotel is available for guests
Pros: The rooms/beds were ok, just as you expect from the standard Mercure hotel.
Cons: The hotel is quite far from the airport. To reach it by taxi will cost you around 25 Eur (one way) or hotel transfer service for 20 Eur (one way). The breakfast was quite poor and already all gone way before 10 AM. The bathrooms are quite old and need renovation.
Pros: Nice and clean room. Great breakfast. Parking Very good
Pros: The room was comfortable, quiet and the bed was comfortable too. We liked the breakfast.
Cons: No free of charge airport shuttle.
Pros: The easy reception and checkout
Cons: Room was too warm. Breakfast nothing special.
Pros: We chose this hotel given its proximity (ca. 15 min. by car) to Bergamo Orio airport. We had a very good stay, the staff both at reception and at restaurant/bar was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. My global evaluation is at least 7.5/8
Cons: If you don't have a car it is probably difficult to get to the hotel. The room was not that large. The space in the shower was rather limited
Pros: No complaints, really. Instant check-in, no hassles. The staff is helpful but stays out of your way, and the rooms are clean and nice. Perfect for a 1 night stay close by to Bergamo airport to catch an early flight or for arriving late.
Cons: Not much around the hotel as far as food goes. No public transport, so make sure you have a car.
Located in Bergamo, Ostello di Bergamo is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Santuario della Beata Vergine Addolorata and Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, quiet area
Cons: Its a tad outdated
Pros: It was convenient for what I needed. I was flying out very early and it was a cheap place.
Cons: There was mold in the room, and the other guests were extremely loud.
Pros: Nice view from the hostel, especially from the rooftop terrace. Good price, good choice of breakfast.
Cons: The bathrooms were quite outdated. There was no curtain in the showers, so the bathroom floors would get quite wet. Not enough outlets in the room. Some of the locks on the personal lockers were broken. The bed linen was quite cheap.
Pros: Good access from the center to the hotel. Great views both from the balcony in the room and the observation deck on the roof. An open kitchen for everyone where you can prepare a meal. Daily room and bathroom cleaned and a few times a week delivered clean towels. Wireless internet that worked flawlessly.
Cons: Breakfast was boring and not much differentiated. There are no power outlets near the bed.
Pros: Breakfast was tasteful and Room and bed sizes are enough comfortable, the place was clean with its facilities
Cons: The location is just little bit far from the central but you can reach there with the public buses
When you stay at B&B Hotel Bergamo in Bergamo, you'll be near the airport, within a 10-minute walk of Humanitas Gavazzeni Hospital and Centro Congressi Giovanni XXIII. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is very close to the airport. Nice rooms. East check-in. Good breakfast.
Pros: The room
Cons: The lack of welcoming. I would like to write a bad review about the receptionist who attended to me with very little clear hair and a bit round. He was very rude he did not give a welcoming and it is a great problem when you arrive in a city that you dont know hotel are the city face, the more hospitality you receive the better impression and the most wishes to come back again. The rest of the service was good and probably the remaining team member but i recommend dont spend a penny in a place with this type of customer service
Cons: the. bedroom 224 was far too noisy and I couldn't sleep
Pros: Shuttle service to the airport.. not free but chargeable. . 10-15 mins from bergamo airport
Cons: Small shower cubicle

Pros: Staff really professional and helpful Parking free with a lot of spaces available
Cons: Too hot the room on arrival (25°c set) then of course you can cool down
Pros: Perfect location for us as we needed the airport very early the next morning.
Cons: Absolutely no food available until the next morning after we had left. Not even wrapped biscuits or rolls - nothing.
Pros: Reception Wes very welcoming
Pros: We stayed only for a night, before a flight we had in the morning. Therefore, the location was perfect, as the hotel is just ten minutes from the airport. The staff was very polite and friendly and the room super clean.
Cons: The only thing we did not enjoy was the peculiar smell outside the hotel.
Cons: The room's temperature is quite cold.
Pros: Stayed here for one night, everything was perfect!

Pros: The hotel is very comfortable and right at the Orio Center opposite of the airport. They have a shuttle, but it is just a 15 min walk to the gate. They offer early (small) breakfast from 04:00 and a real one from 07:00. I only had a nice dinner at the restaurant.
Pros: Very close airport
Pros: Close to aurport
Cons: Room smelled bad. Limited airport shuttle service.
Pros: Close to airport. Nice and clean. Amazing breakfast.
Pros: In full Corona V .... madness , sleep one night 2 adults and 2 girls , 2 rooms. Empty hotel. :) good for us Staff very friendly especially in the restaurant . Good food
Cons: All good
Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff at reception.
Cons: Would have liked to be able to make a hot drink in the room after arriving late-ish off a flight.
Pros: Very good location - Near to Bergamo Airport (walk distance), right next to Shopping center. Nice business hotel - clean, everything needed is available in room. I am satisfied, I suggest it.
Cons: The breakfast was not that interesting, not that much to choose from - pretty basic. It could be more "warm" food for breakfast. Also I missed the vegetables, there was almost nothing to choose from.
Pros: Great hotel. Very good location next to the airport and the Orio Center
Airport is set in a residential apartment in Bergamo, right by the Parco Malpensata gardens and 10 minutes' walk from Bergamo Train Station. It offers simple rooms with free WiFi. Rooms have a contemporary and minimalist design. Each one comes with a fan and a small work area. There are 2 shared bathrooms with hairdryer and shower. At Airport a covered terrace with table and chairs is available. The young staff is on site for check-in and check-out. Check-in takes place at Bergamo Train Station, about 700 metres from the property.
Cons: After 23 they don't respond nowhere ...our fly was stopped in aeroport for technical issues and we can get till registration time so i wrote e-mail but....no respond and we must to stay at train station for all night. Nightmare....
Pros: We got an other room, bus it was even nicer
Pros: First of all, we were not even supposed to stay in Bergamo for too long, but our transit was messed up and we arrived late for the second flight, so we had to change the tickets and find a place to stay for the night. Very luckily, I found this place, and it was a blessing. Although, their office, in which you have to check-in, is a bit tough to find. But overall, the place was super-clean and cozy, location was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Thank you!
Cons: Location of the office and that you have to check out before 10 am
Cons: not bad
Cons: Horrible check in.
Pros: Check in was easy. It was about a 10 minute walk away from the check in but you could take a taxi. There's a great pizza place at the end of the road €9.50 for 2 of them. There's a Spar shop at the road behind (there's a path to the right of the building and then turn left). There is a kitchen which was clean and had a fridge, microwave, hob and I think oven, too. It was warm! The building has central heating and air conditioning.
Cons: One of the bathrooms had a light which needed fixing but there was another light so not a major disaster.
Pros: Big and spacious room
Cons: There should Be some shower supplies
Pros: I got a room update for free, because the hot water was not working in the original booking, so I can't really say anything about this place.
Bergamo is a modern city with a long history, and the Starhotels Cristallo Palace is the ideal base for discovering its timeless appeal. They provide the ideal venue for business and private events, with a team of professionals on hand to ensure a flawless organization.
Pros: The hotel was clean and there were places to eat near the hotel.
Cons: First of all, I booked the hotel with the expectation there was parking and that I would have a double room. When I arrived I was worried they did not have my booking, they took a long time and then I ended up with a smoking room. I had to go down and explain I did not want a smoking room. They moved me but both rooms were near the elevator. I could never get anyone to correct the parking issue. The Staff just kept pointing me across the street. That parking was temporary parking and not overnight. So we had to move our car every two hours until after 9pm. I literally booked the hotel because it said it had parking but you pay. I would have paid to not have to move my car. Also I admit I was upset when I got to the hotel. I was not pleasant but the smoking room and then no towels and the oldness of the place just got to me. I usually don't complain but honestly I was just disappointed with the lack of parking and the smoking room, then feeling downgraded to a worse room but just not nasty smelling. I travel A LOT and I don't have high expectations but I had to go seriously low for this hotel. The water in the tub did not drain and everything was pretty old. It was clean though and there was food in walking distance. I guess it wasn't the worst hotel and one night was ok.
Pros: Bed comfy
Pros: Clean and very nice staff
Cons: Facilities transport
Pros: Everything was perfect! I recommend it without any restrictions.
Pros: Location Quit rooms Very friendly staff and professional
Cons: Nothing, for business trips it's okay

Pros: Good location, typical city centre hotel
Cons: Location, room good size
Pros: Great breakfast - lot of options and everything was tasty. Nice that there was no plastic where it can be avoided.
Cons: If you are used to hard bed - first days will be challenging to get full sleep.
Pros: Staff were really helpful, was able to find us great and affordable transportation, supplied us with converters for free Also asked if we needed anything else always with a smile
Situated only 5 km from Orio al Serio Airport, B&B Bed & Fly - Mamma Mia has rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. A restaurant and a bar are available on site. Each room here will provide you with carpeted floors, while some have a balcony. Featuring a shower, private or shared bathroom also comes with free toiletries. Bed & Fly - Mamma Mia is set in Azzano San Paolo. A bus stopping opposite the property takes you to Bergamo, a 10-minute drive away. The Expo 2015 Exhibition centre is 58 km from the B&B.
Pros: The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, there is also a mini fridge.
Cons: For the check in they didn't contact us to inform us about how to get in or at what time. We didn't have hot water, and I told the host but they didn't answer although they had read the message. I also asked for the WiFi password but I didn't have an answer. The location is horrible if you have to go to the airport. By foot is really dangerous because there isn't a walking path to reach the house, and the walk is 35 minutes, and anyone inform us about it. To get by bus to the airport is 55 minutes. They offered a ride to the airport for 20€ and it is only at 10 minutes
Pros: Restaurant was great
Cons: There wasn't any hot/warm water!
Pros: Late check in hours (by ekstra paid). Easy check out.
Cons: No fan in room. Expensive AC. No kettle and microwave oven.
Pros: Everything else was on the level!
Cons: We chose this place because it was near the airport, and we were going to walk! But after we went, they moved us to another building that was far away! And we had to take Taxi
Pros: Nothing. Be carful before you book. The photos is fare from the Reality

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Really nice and friendly staff working on the venue. Location is completely perfect as it is on the center of Bergamo and very close to the train station. Great amount of possibilities and great and different choices in the menu offered by them.
Pros: - great location, close to the railway station, shops, bus stops - amazing roof view to the old city - no problem to leave luggage in the dining room after check out - recommend for a few days/overnight
Cons: - you can hear all noise from the rooms/bathrooms next to the 501 room - lack of table/chairs in the room, basically no place where you would put your stuff down - drinking glasses available in the morning, then there were cups only - breakfast service quite slow, you'll have to wait for pizza, cake - not ready at 8AM
Pros: Location. Cleanliness. Staff.
Pros: Very central in Bergamo city. Close to supermarkets and the Main shopping street.
Pros: Lovely place, beautiful view on the Bergamo's roofs, great, generous and helpful people, perfect location. We really loved it and recommend.
Cons: It was a little bit cold in our apartament.
Pros: Location and roof terrace. After reading some reviews we were worried that it's gonna be cold at night but it wasn't - the window was tight and the room had a proper heater.
Cons: Check in after 15:00 and no one present on property before. Breakfast from 8:00 - I guess it was written somewhere but still, it's quite late.
Located in Grassobbio, Winter Garden Hotel - Bergamo Airport is connected to a shopping center, a 2-minute drive from Oriocenter and 6 minutes from Fiera Campionaria di Bergamo. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: No babysitting available for 3 of the days, so I missed out on the Spa on Friday night, sat and Sunday... Then Tuesday the Spa closed I was disappointed in this as I specifically booked for the reason that on the website they specified that there was babysitting services!
Cons: Breakfast could have been better
Pros: Excellent breakfast, very clean room and helpful staff. Spa and restaurant sadly closed due to Coronavirus outbreak.
Pros: Everything. Clean smelling hotel. Spotless. Staff went above and beyond. They arranged me a taxi to the hotel from the airport at 1am in the morning. They arranged a shuttle the following day to the airport too. I asked for a late checkout as I arrived late and they let me checkout at 4pm free of charge. If that isn't top class service I don't know what is. Breakfast was good. Ordered a burger from room service, again 10/10. Would highly recommend, when I return to Bergamo I will stay here for sure for the flights 100%. Thank you for a great stay.
Pros: We stayed just for one night. Everything was ok. A good choice for those who need to stay close to the airport.
Cons: One little thing that I didn’t like - the hotel reserve the amount on your credit card for the whole stay right after you book it. The hotel’s shuttle I’ve booked that was supposed to get me back to the airport next morning was late for more than 10 minutes.
Pros: Very nice hotel with a great spa facility
Cons: Location is not very nice and ridiculously expensive to get to the airport which is 4 minutes drive away
Pros: Very close to the airport, ideal for a business trip. Kind staff and very clean room.
Cons: Hotel not so expensive, especially if we take into consideration of the price value ratio,- but the services are very expensive (wellness, restaurant).
When you stay at Art & Hotel Treviolo in Treviolo, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Leolandia and Parco Faunistico Le Cornelle. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Pros: Don’t like this kind of behavior
Cons: Due to coronavirus we cannot come in the hotel and in italy. We come there for a race but all the race are cancelled for this year. This hotel don’t want to reimburse us for this exceptional Situation. Hotel was closed!!! He propose to come back free until 31st December but I booked 4 rooms!!!
Pros: Very cheap, breakfast not bad friendly staff
Cons: It was value for money but very basic
Pros: very quite hotel with nice breakfast and vegetarian pizza at the dinner
Cons: far away from the center
Pros: - Cleanliness - Breakfast Buffet
Cons: - Noise from adjoining rooms (loud music and screams) - No dinner or lunch menu - Time and Money waste If you want to visit Milan, directly go to Milan from Airport and stay there in a hotel - One lady in staff was not that polite and tried to charge more than the written price for food items, rest were good, a boy Maxim was really good
Pros: Service was friendly and breakfast good.
Cons: The location is difficult even for taxidrivers.
Pros: At night I want silence.
Cons: Very disturbing: Plumbing noise from neighboring bathroom.
Pros: staff and breakfast
Cons: broken bath
Pros: Hotel Staff are amazing, and place is very quiet and nice. If u want to relax its the best place.
Pros: Very comfortable hotel, ideal for a stopover near Bergamo airport
Cons: whilst hotel was clearly visable from the main road it was a little difficult to access
Cons: the location of the hotel is very difficult to find from Orio airport
Pros: We found the Hotel ideal, a 15 min. walk to the Village to catch the bus into town was fine, its a nice residential area, not touristy at all.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. Breakfast was continental style, plenty to choose from. Staff could not be more helpfull. Rooms were excellent. No English channel on the tv.
Pros: Staff was ready to help me in my small problem with my car
Pros: Friendly staff, wireless internet at cheap price. Staff always available and helpful.
Cons: Remote location, slightly dangerous conditions when crossing the road to the only restaurant in walking distance. Should be resolved when road works finished.
Pros: Good selection of free TV channels. Good breakfast. Excellent pizzeria just across the road!
Hotel Albi is a small family-run hotel located in the centre of Stezzano, 500 metres from the train station on the new Bergamo-Treviglio line. All rooms offer air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Offering free Wi-Fi, all rooms at the Albi are en suite. Each has a classic-style décor and parquet floors. Public bus number 6 stops in front of the hotel and provides direct access to Bergamo. The Albi is also close to the A4 motorway access.
Pros: The room was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. We didn't have any problem whatsoever. Bus #6 stops just across the road from the hotel which is very convenient.
Cons: I don't understand the negative reviews. As for the noisy airplanes: guess what, there is an airport nearby!
Pros: Great location and fantastic stop over on a very long journey from France to Slovenia. Beds were really comfortable and the showers all worked well! They don't do food but we found nice places to eat n Bergamo and a brilliant up market breakfast in the cafe next door to the main church in Stezzano.
Cons: The check in turned out to be really tricky - my wife came back to the car and said they had no record of us and they were full. It turned out that the issue was simply that the man on the desk didn't speak any English and didn't know what to say! I did retrieve the booking on my phone in Italian and that sorted it, but it's the kind of place where it is very useful to be able to speak at least basic Italian.
Pros: Close to airport Very clean Friendly stuff We arrived later than their check-in is open, but hotel arranged everything
Cons: The socket it’s very old and don’t fit my mobile charger
Pros: the hotel is specific: located on the 2nd floor of a residential building. In the evening quite noisy from the bar on the ground floor. Room for two is cramped. Everything is in order in the bathroom, no problems with hot water. the location of the hotel requires a car for comfortable transportation to the airport or city. you can park your car at a neighboring apartment building for free.
Cons: In the evening quite noisy from the bar on the ground floor. Room for two is cramped.
Pros: Easy self-check in, good communication, free parking nearby. Good enough for one night stay.
Cons: Seemed a bit worn-out, very basic.
Pros: Easy to park, excellent stuff service. Super clean and easy to use hotel in good price.
Cons: Walls are thin, so you can hear what your neighbor's do.
Pros: Close to the airport!Nice area!Wonderful wine bar opposite.....more like Tapas bar!Unique!
Cons: Everything was just fine!
With a stay at Hotel Excelsior San Marco, you'll be centrally located in Bergamo, just a 5-minute walk from Matris Domini Monastery and 6 minutes by foot from Piazza Matteotti. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Bergamo? This hotel has facilities measuring 2153 square feet (200 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Well located, roof top restaurant seems to offer a great view on the city. Parking available.
Cons: Room without any view, bathroom with shower only and at the check out you realize that you been charged 15€ for the parking. As a conclusion i do not see a will to offer a good experience, bad because the location & potential is great.
Pros: Very good service, nice clean and good interior design
Pros: We have stayed at this particular hotel many times before and shall always choose it as our number one location when visiting Bergamo
Cons: We love the location which allows us for a nice walk up the stairs to get to the old town the hotel is convenient it’s breakfast is good and it’s just a very very comfortable place to stay
Pros: This is a modern hotel, clean, comfortable rooms with gowns and slippers. Good breakfast and coffee. Great location, very near old town, just 5 mins from the Citta Alta funicular. Taxi from airport 20 euros.

When you stay at Art & Hotel in Stezzano, you'll be near the airport and steps from Kilometro Rosso Science and Technology Park. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice hotel, furniture and decoration was beautiful,
Pros: Excellent stay! Beautiful hotel! Very close to KM Rosso!
Pros: staff very helpful...book my train tickets, got us a taxi and prepare a to go breakfast
Cons: the AC didnt work so we had to leave the windows open at night. it was still hot for my daughter to sleep comfortably especially with the airplane and train noises. staff was very accommodating. offer to switch room but the other room 311 only had heat option. not sure if this was a 3rd floor issues
Pros: I have stayed in this hotel 5 or 6 times, always when flying out of BGY airport. It only takes up to 15 minutes to reach the airport, very convenient. The rooms are perfect, large comfy bed and nothing to complain. Efficient and friendly check in process. Most guests have to take flights so you can feel the rush here quite often.
Cons: The availability of the wellness was always the true differentiator. Sadly the use of these facilities is not included in the basic tariff anymore. You now have to pay 15 euro's per person. This has a negative impact on the overall experience, leaving this hotel just as an average place to stay as other airport hotels in the area. I hope management reconsiders this decision.
Pros: Clean bed, friendly staff and parking available
Cons: bar menu could have a better option than just snacks: provide at least sandwiches. Wifi was very slow
Pros: Everything was good. Room was spacious, clean and staff were friendly.
Cons: We had to spend 50 Euros to and from Airport, which is a bummer, adding that and getting a better hotel can be another option.
Pros: Close to airport

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything really apart from breakfast was quite good. The room was nice, clean, spacious, and the immediate access to your car in an adjacent parking spot (right outside a second outdoor entrance) was quite convenient. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the prices were not bad at all.
Cons: Breakfast in Italy is usually amazing; not so much here. Everything was sub-par in quality, and the scrambled eggs were cold and really bad.
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean room, free parking, good restaurant for evening meal. Helpful and friendly front desk staff.
Cons: Bathroom urgently needs updating. Poor shower area with cheap curtain allowing water to leak all over the floor. Chipped tiles. No lock on bathroom door. Breakfast average at best.
Pros: Great room and great breakfast!
Pros: I had a very early flight and I loved having a voucher for breakfast at an airport cafe when I had completed all the check in details. I also liked the fact that the free transport to the airport from the hotel arrived exactly on time.
Cons: The lasagna in the restaurant was a bit dry.
A stay at Relais San Lorenzo places you in the heart of Bergamo, within a 5-minute walk of Donizetti Museum and Palazzo della Ragione. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in.
Pros: Interiors are beautiful
Cons: Close to main town friendly staff excellent breakfast
Pros: The breakfast in the beautiful restaurant was wonderful and featured a traditional buffet as well as hot breakfast. It wasn't clear at first, but it was included and very nice!
Cons: I thought it was beautiful but would likely choose a different spot given the price for a future stay. The staff was amazing!
Cons: All great thank you!
Pros: It’s was just Amazing
Pros: perfect hotel. Very comfortable. Right in the historical centre.
Cons: The "Spa" part was simple: a 2 person sauna, 2 person steam bath, and 4 relax beds is a salt room. It was at no extra costs though.
Pros: Excellent location. Fantastic service. Beautiful hotel. Super clean. Super breakfast.
Cons: Room was too small and with no closet and drawers
Pros: Location, staff, food & old city charm
Cons: The bathrooms had see through windows, and we're not separate from the rooms (ie I could see whoever was using the toilet from the bed) might not be the best for couples...
