Pros:Very nice hotel but due to the highway construction, it was difficult to go back and forth.
Pros:Considering me & my partner booked last minute, the room quality was great for the price. Includes HBO so we were able to catch Game of Thrones! Very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows if we hadn't brought our own. Excellent A/C. Excellent Wifi. Decent free breakfast. Minimal noise. Nice shower/bath combo -- we only have a shower at home so he got to relax in a tub for once.
Cons:When we left briefly after checking in and settling in to run to Walmart, we returned to find a hair net in the middle of our floor. :/ Needless to say I was a little freaked out, considering our room was locked and it was midnight so I doubt housekeeping had swung by! The second (and last) day we had an issue that really colored my stay and changed it from the potentially awesome experience to one I didn't mind but didn't enjoy either. Came in after spending the day with my mom, went upstairs with a few bags, our key cards didn't work! But that's no big deal, it happens. So we (and our bags) went downstairs and told the concierge. She rekeyed them, didn't bother to apologize or even look me in the eye, just got my name and room number, but that was fine. I'm not a huge people person either. What bugged me was going back upstairs with our stuff and having the keys still not work, going back downstairs (alone) and trying to offer her a little insight into the issue by telling her that the card reader wasn't lighting up at all, not red or green, only to be treated very patronizingly and told "well you're just doing it wrong." Sent me BACK upstairs ALONE with instructions to do it SLOWLY (as if we hadn't tried 50 different ways already!) and when I came back downstairs and asked for a manager (due to her rude attitude) there was none, so I had to wait for her to check somebody in and deal with the lady STOMPING to the elevator, STOMPING to our room, only for her to swipe both cards multiple times until she finally says "Well that's weird." She tried again and managed to get it to work -- told us "well you'll just have to play with it" before once more stomping away.
