Excellent dinner;coffee shop style breakfast (free). For those who did not want a full meal None
space in the room
The relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff I have not found anything I did not like.
We did like the hotel and found it comfortable We thought the standard of cooking was very poor. An omelette is a simple dish but ours were like boot leather and were bearly edible.
Hotel layout, parking, brakfast price
Clean, basic value for money hotel. Did not have breakfast as too expensive so cannot comment on food.
From the outside it lookes oke. But the rooms als like a Formule1-hotel (but double the price); the bathroom is plastic and leaking, every hour - during the night - a train is running with a lot of noise, no space beside the bed (i had to remove the bed for the night) etcetc
Very nice smart, clean, modern hotel within walking distance of the Walibi Theme Park which was our reason for staying on this occasion.
The locale. If it did not apply to the stay they shied away from questions or info.
Great location, near the motorway for our overnight stop on the way to France. Room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast buffet was good, and the kids ate free (i think). We weren't there very long but they also enjoyed a quick play in the hotels playground outside, and other kids toys in the lobby (lego and playstation).
The grounds were very nice. It was a peaceful setting. The shower curtain had a bugger on it. The bed spead had yellow stains. I choose to believe it was coffee.
The restaurant was excellent.
the location and the fresh air outside was fascinating and the building gives a feeling of medieval times.
no noise not so clear in the bathroom as it is expected in 4 stars hotel
Price of the breakfast is too high for what you get.
The restaurant is very good and not too expensive The room was too small, the pay tv not working, and it was very hot even when snowing outside and window open
I did not enjoy the resturant service at all both for dinner and for breakfast. I did not enjoy overcooked coffee. I did not like having to ask for my room to be made up at 14.00 in the afternoon
Personnel was very attentive and the food great. Had to get used to the long corridors and the steps to go up and down.
Very big room. Very clean. Very confortable. Nice design of the hotel in a castle. The dinner is too expensive. Its either taking a 40 euro dinner (that needs reservation) or having a pizza or lasagna in the bar. And its almost impossible to have dinner close from there. So you should be prepared for that.
Walking in the forest. Play tennis, Swim in the pool. Go by car to the Ardennes resp to the sea. Train to Brussels. Hade excelelnt food at your restaurant and at two restaurants in Wavre. You should change to new fresh floors in the rooms and new better beds.
I put down fair as for the value for money of this hotel for the only reason that I imagined it (and booked it for this reason) as a weekend price that included breakfast and not as an extra separate cost. Under other circumstances, I would probably consider it as being a good option as per the value for the money.
Great place to for visiting the Herge Museum
The location in partly forested country was very nice. The walk to and from the railway station was very pleasant. However I would have preferred that the walk was shorter as I had a sore leg at the time.
This hotel is very calm
Location convenient to town (one of only 2 hotels in Louvain la Neuve), adequate parking, comfortable beds, wireless internet available (not free) Breakfast at 12 euros per person is expensive, no mini-bar, very small room, poor ventilation (no window that opens), door onto balcony opens, but balcony not separated from other rooms so no security or privacy if door open.
It was serene and close to Brussels. It was a little expensive and the internet was a bit intermittent.
Stained/dirty carpet; broken toilet seat; shower quickly ran cold; breakfast 'hot' food stone cold. Very expensive for mediocre hotel.
Dinner was ok. Internet access + breakfast too expensive.
the surroundings, the silence, the facilities the room, huge price for telephone
Easy to find, easy to park. Good medium priced hotel
Nice rooms, very friendly staff, nice location Basically a B&B, tricky to find
The owners are very nice and the Manoir is a beautiful place. Call the owner before to arrive as the Hotel is quite hard to find even with a GPS.
Excellent staff. Beautiful house and surroundings.
Our room was spacious, spotless, with a very large ensuite bathroom. The service is excellent and the owners very friendly. The location is great because this b & b is situated in a beautiful park, outside of town. The room could be better sound-proofed as we could hear too much of the activities in the house/hotel during the day and evening.
access plan could be better
The kindness of the guest. The beauty and tranquility of the place. The very nice room. Nothing in particular, may be a slight lack of sonic isolation.
Everything, especially the location, looks and the quietness I had a room with only a bath, not a shower
the room was never clean in 3 days
Everything was excellent! The house, the room, the location, the hosts, the bed,the breakfast, the bathoroom. Even the two dogs were lovely. We will definitely be back. Just a little shelf/stool in the bathroom to put toiletries on would be handy, but there were 2 in the bedroom, so we "borrowed" one from there, no problem.
Rooms with style elegance and a beautiful breakfast.
The little 'extras' at dinner. The diningroom chairs and tables were not cleaned well enough. Crumbs on both.
the location of the hotel was ideal for are overnight stop. The room was comfortable and clean. breakfast had a good selection of food to choose from.
Hotel staff were very helpful. no 24hr tea / coffee facilities or internet access although advertised, no aircon (needed in the family rooms) too much road noise to open the windows. very poor TV. would only recommend for a stop over.
Very noisy - next to Motorway, no air con
On January, 5th the breakfast was супер, on January, 6th have for some reason fenced off half of tables partitions, on January, 7th in general have left for a breakfast only tea, yoghurts and eggs. Probably, it has occured that there were buses with tourists from Russia which transit stopped in hotel. And nobody has apologized!
The hotel staff was friendly and it was very clean. It would have been nice to have a fan in the room.
Close to the office Noise and drain smells
Breakfast was a bit poor
I was only there for one night, but as an invalid I got all the help I needed , including parking space near the entrance.
The house is situated in wooded area in quiet location with lake near the house. You can use the private parking in front of the house. There is a fast internet connection for the free. The house is in rural and provincial style. Friendly owners. Good location to explore the neigbourhood or visiting the Brussel city. No doors between toilet and the room, no english speaking staff. Very soft, small and creaky bed.
Nice area, countryside, very quiet and restful b&b, in front of a small lake in the middle of old trees People should be told in advance that there is no lift, as most rooms are on third floor; not suitable for disabled
Nice situation, by lake in wooded area. Hotel rooms were artistically decorated. It must once have been a lovely hotel. Shabby room and furnishings. No door between bedroom and ensuite toilet/shower area. Note this hotel has no star rating. Restaurant was not open for evening meal.
Very nice accueil, so good breakfast, the same for dinner, you may spend some time with the hotel host in the evening, with a glass of wine The dog is snoring in the night
Great location, value and breakfast. The decor is abit different from the normal hotel.
Manager Medi was very helpful and flexible with our requests for information...and we could speak English with him and his colleague Stairs, room for three is a little on the small side
Very kind staff, they make everithing possible to make guests comfortable. Rooms too small and poor lights
The hotel is very nice and the staff very friendly. It is clean and you can rest perfectly. The day we went there the parking of the hotel was flooded and we could not use it. Luckily, there's an outside parking just in front of the hotel, which is for free from saturday afternoons to sunday. The breakfast is not very abundant, but sufficient. It consists on some bread and marmalade, chocoloate, croissants, coffee, milk, tea, orange juice... but no cold meats or cheese, sausages... etc. Anyway it is enough and costs 6€, not like most of hotels that costs 15€.
The staff has been really helpful and available. We were a bit late for my breakfast but kindly agreed to serve it. (and the breakfast room is lovely!)I would definitely recommend it.
Nice staff No
Staff very friendly and helpful.
very friendly and helpfull manager
