Excellent service from helpful and experienced staff, feature rooms with period furniture were a delight, good choice of food well prepared, and beautiful, well kept gardens.
The setting of this hotel is really special. Located adjacent to a beautiful park with nice walks and woodland it is a great place for spending time relaxing. For me, the darkened medieval atmosphere and interesting decoration is what sets it apart. At £170 for the night, it was the most expensive hotel I've stayed at. But, other than its unique setting and interesting decor, it certainly didn't offer anything else as outstanding as the price. Service was very basic. For instance, no-one to show you to the room, certainly no help to carry your bags. No indication either at check-in or on the paperwork that check-out is 11.00am. Breakfast was included, but as it finished too early for me at 10.00 am this was not sampled. Also, there was pressure to throw me out of the room at 11.00am as this is their (too early) check-out time. Perhaps a visit to the far East for the staff would educate them in the standards that are now expected by international travellers.
The hotel staff were extremely efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, the hotel is an exceptional location and eventhough it was a busy weekend the hotel was peaceful and relaxed.
Beautiful old Abbey, with decor consistent with old english style. Staff were exceptional Could do with a better hot water system
Very atmospheric - loved the 'Ancient' decor! Much too dark - couldn't see to read in the bedrooms and quite often got lost in the corridors - very confusing in an emergency!
The atmosphere and surroundings, and also the peace and tranquility
The unique nature of the hotel and the staff who were excellent. It was exceptional value for money as well. I will certainly stay there again
The most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. Just beautiful. The bill was wrong when first issued. This was corrected very quickly.
My stay was very comfortable and relaxed enhanced by the atmosphere and setting of the abbey's history. Most enjoyable and will visit again when opportunity allows.
It was such a different hotel experince and very intersting from a historical perspective- great price at off peak rates wonderfully quiet, tranquil, excellent food and the staff made you feel very special. A great place to go with a few friends to get away and relax in style. You really need to have a rental car so you can drive around and explore the other areas like Warwick castle
Staff helpful and discrete Hotel was cold in places at times toilets on first floor were rather lonely, seemed strange that none on ground floor
Good staff on reception and in breakfast room Room was a bit cold - had to ask for a heater. Toiled for a long time to get internet access - when I queried with reception they said they had to "release" access - which was annoying as I wasted time trying to resolve. Would have been useful if there had been a notice in the room to this effect.
Fine,it is good and the service is fine .the only problem is it is too cold inside the room, even if turn the air conditioner to 30degree
The whole experience was brilliant at a brilliant price too
Room was excellent Restauant was fully booked in the evening although plenty of takeout places to choosee from. The staff were really slow in the morning at breakfast too ordered a coffee and then sat there for 10 mins with no one explaining it was self-service and then not knowing how to charge the bill to my room account. Was in a hurry, so really annoying
Nice place and centrally located Room wasn't very warm
Friendly staff Difficult to struggle through the dorrs from the car park with suitcase, brief case, laptop and handbag!
very friendly and helpful staff, central location
From the second you set foot through the doors into the foyer, there was a great warmh of welcome as well as a very high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail on the interior design.
The hotel was easy to get to. The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was of a very high quality, it's not often that hotel breakfasts are worth the money but this one was. The room had not been vacuumed before I arrived. The room was too hot when I arrived and the air conditioning was set to be 'centrally controlled' so I couldn't change it.
very quiet and romantic hotel to stay at stairs going to the rooms were very squeaky late at night
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, big rooms. The room could have had a bit more lighting,
The location and setting of the hotel was superb. The room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant had a wonderful ambience and a good selection of food on the menu. Sitting outside, enjoying a drink, on the decking area by the river was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a quiet relaxing break.
Staff very friendly and nice bar/restaurant Noisy central heating system
We loved everything about it, the food, beer and service was excellent. the room was clean and the location is very good for the Birmingham NEC which was the reason why we stayed at The Old Mill. The pub has loads of character as well. We would definitely stay there again There was nothing that we didn't like about it
Size of room, location of hotel, very comfortable
Excellent service from all staff. Excellent food and restaurant facilities. Excellent ambience in bar and restaurant area. Spacious room layout. Free wifi and excellent car parking facilities. Felt safe as a single female guest. External light close to the window and only a thin blind meant that the room remained relatively light all night making it difficult to sleep. Pillows thin, hard and uncomfortable. Shower would not fully turn off and could be heard dripping all night - again making it difficult to sleep.
friendliness of staff also beside river location shower facilities were "tired" and need refurbishing
Staff were very helpful The food, to be avoided at all costs. My partner was served mashed potato that was still frozen.
Service and Comfort
Leaving Website states Carpark, there is no carpark at the hotel, I had to use a pay and display 6 minutes walk away. Room was very poorly maintained. No vending machine in operation so could not get a snack on arrival at 11pm. Breakfast was luke warm, just passable but not worth the £10 charged
the fact that it was in the town centre and near the bus station which made it easy for me to my business. Nice large room and a good breakfast to start the day.
Very close to shops and services - within 5 minutes walk of the main shopping area. Had no key for my room so I had to be let in by hotel staff each time. Got held up at reception as somebody was being quite forthright in asking for rooms to be swapped around. As I was the only other person waiting I feel I should have been served first so that the receptionist could go back to the more complicated complaint. Lift was broken and kept stopping on floor 5. Windows are complicated which could be an issue in summer.
The free tea and coffee and the trouser press. The odd stain on the carpet and the increased security on the hotel room door did not seem to work
In City Centre The shabbiness of the room, and ill fitting, matress and duvet to bed base.
convinient central location no
The size of the room. Doors and frames needed replacing .Also around the bath the sealant needed replacing.
The convenience of being in the City Centre and not being that far from our function. The hotel was excellent in all categories
nothing The quality of this hotel was very poor, its badly needs modernising, the heating did not work and the food was poor.
Easy access to City Centre, breakfast excellent, efficient polite staff No hotel parking
Altho very near centre of Coventry, one would have thought you were in the country. Very friendly staff, fantastic Leisure centre and pool, choice of a restaurant or Cellar bar for food & drinks, very reasonably priced.
Good environment and nice golf pitch. I found a spider on my bed.
The facilities were ok for the price...ie.Bar / Breakfast. and the hotel is fairly close to the NEC. The hotel staff in the Bar /Front Desk/Restaurant seemed bored and demotivated. There didn't seem to be many people staying at the hotel, so it seemed the were doing 'the minimum'
Due to our experience there was nothing to like apart from the view from the room. Bedspread in room 219 had holes. Went to Cellar Bar late pm prior to dinner - bar was full of 'gents' and very rowdy - eventually gave up and went upstairs with our drinks. Went to dinner to discover that myself and friend were the only females in the restaurant. Although only 7.45pm restaurant very loud as golf parties and stag do's in already - as obviously been drinking 'all afternoon' there behaviour was not suitable to being in a restaurant. Menu disappointing as it had half of the choices on it that the web site gave. Food poor quality - only canteen standard as obviously used to being 'churned' out in high volume for golfers and stags. Trouble in Cellar Bar late at night - drunk tried to intice husband into a fight.
The Leisure facilities and sauna were superb, very clean, with the staff being most helpful. The pool was really good. The reception staff were also very helpful in sorting out a colleague at their sister hotel nearby
The swimming pool was very good and the man opened it up especially for me as they had listed the opening times wrong. The restaurant had very little menu choice. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The staff failed to make my wake up call making me late for attendance on our stand at a show at the nec. Not very happy. Was booked for two nights, only stayed the one!
Good hotel and good clean room and breakfast nice. I was asked for extra £20 pounds when arriving but it said on website all fees and service charges were included in the room charge but I got it sorted out by a member of my party.
the swimming pool and facilities
Great hotel and leisure club just wished i'd stayed longer to use them ! comfortable clean beds and towels breakfast was great and lots of it, would certainly stay again.had an event at the Motorcycle Museum which was really close. None
We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, it suited all of our needs, and the food was really good, if a little too 'arty' for our tastes.
the overall experience was great. Fantastic value for money. Staff friendly and informative. Breakfast was enjoyable and plenty off it. All in all 10 out of 10! Nothing!
That it was within easy reach of Birmingham NEC without being in the city. Pleasant surroundings, neatly tucked away from the road. The toilet paper was very cheap and nasty. Something you would expect in a public toilet not a hotel. Breakfast if paid for at the hotel, too expensive. Would book online next time!
receptionist (an Irish lad) was very helpful and extremely efficient. He was an excellent frnt man for the hotel.
beautiful grounds, large room indifferent check in staff
Needed to have some paper work faxed to a customer, not a problem, will do that for you was the reply I got from the front desk, well done I would look at what's on offer food wise, people don't mind paying a bit extra for a larger menue.
The food, the staff see above
the breakfast's were very good and very good value for money bathroom was very dirty
The breakfast was good. The staff had no time for you.
The hotel was convienient for my meeting in coventry, the receptionist was helpful & quick with booking me in, I had to change my room as the first room I was put into smelt damp & musty, the guests in the next room decided to use their jaquzzi bath at 1am in the morning and the noise was horrendous so had very little sleep The was a large que for breakfast -so i had to leave without as I would have missed my meeting if I had stayed in the que
The location was excellent. Hotel was very in every for a hilton Very bad smell through the hotel.. Very dated in every way.
My room was lovely - spacious and airy and the air conditioning was a Godsend! I was disappointed with the bar staff. I had a drink, moved away from the bar and then returned around an hour later. Unfortunately, my dirty crockery from earlier had still not been cleared away! And the barman was stood behind the bar with no other customers and nothing to do!
the retail close by some things
Value for money as we booked through a last minute website and with today's prices for hotels of this calibre, we thought it good value. Nothing. All fine (apart from a rowdy party taking place on the Saturday evening!)
The hotel is in a quiet location, but well connected and close to the main roads. The facilities are modern and well maintained.
catering was good n/a
stayed on 3rd floor; room was clean, bed uncomfortable and carpets were dirty; not the usual high standards we are use to here
The standards of the rooms. The price of car parking.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful with any queries and they very very friendly.
quality of food in the restuarant
Superb room and facilities, would recommend the restaurant.
Nice breakfast and the hotel was clean The bed matress needed to be changed as we both kept rolling to the center of it over night. The bathroom was very clean but I found the tops of the bedroom furniture were dusty.
The location was perfect for the NEC The temperature of the hotel, the room was very hot even when we turned the radiator off in the bedroom, we could not regulate the bathroom radiator. It was a bit uncomfortable
Very friendly welcome - in fact all staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. A very minor quibble is that the bar didn't open until 6.30. The TV was very small but otherwise, no negatives.
Convenience of position Bed not comfortable
Excellent food, helpful staff Rooms were tired, poorly maintained, and in need of a refurb.
Reception and dining room staff were friendly and helpful. This is 2nd time I have stayed as it's convenient for the NEC. It's quiet, easy access to M42, Birmingham airport. I shall stay again.
The friendliness of the staff
Meal was very good Thin walled rooms, noisy when there are a lot of people staying
food / room service was good heating was broken, hairs on the bathroom floor and carpet grubby
Staff reacted well to setbacks. Very nice room (albeit next to car park), but some lights didn't work. Excellent swimming pool. Our room was for disabled people, and had no shower facility and an awkward bathtub. There was no TV remote or tea/coffe making facilities, but staff quickly remedied this. Directions for getting to hotel need to be reviewed.
The geography of the hotel with steps and stairs made it difficult to move luggage around. I have a case on wheels like many to save carrying. I thought that email assess in an improved and upgraded hotel was poor only really being available in the common areas.
The swimming pool facilities were good. The bar service was poor and the size of the meal was poor value for money. There did not appear to be enough staff for the size of the hotel. The record of our booking was not on computer and they blamed the booking company which was very unprofessional. Also wrongly stated I was room only and not bed and breakfast.
Very clean Very poor service especially in bar
lovely tranquil setting and good standard of facilities and food.
Setting and atmosphere. Very slow bar service. No draught beers or lagers available, apparently sold out. Beer was obtained by the manager after I complained.
I wasnt happy with the first room they provided, but they gave me an upgrade without fuss. the second room was lovely, and the spa was well appointed The standard rooms were small and needed updating.
easy access to major cities and tourist locations, eg Stratford the bar was unusable as there was a wedding reception and for most of the evening only had one bar man serving, hence very slow service.
Ease of booking through this web site The food standards have dropped. Charging for WiFi access which didn't actually work. Pre-authorising my credit card for "added incidentals" which apparently is for "my convenience"
The staff were extremely helpful & friendly nothing was to much trouble the matress on my bed was an unbelievable experience just like being in a tree that would not stop moving I am sure all the springs that were covered with a thin piece of cotton were not joined together the whole thing just quivered I was terrified to lay down in case I fell out
Not a lot The reception staff very unfriendly. Unable to charge items to my room as I had a debit card, I had to pay for things as I went along. They could not find a room service menu. The price of a glass of lemonade was £1.35!!!!!!!. Very noisy on the A45. I left a menu card out for my breakfast, instead of my breakfast I received a note telling me the price I paid did not include breakfast, so if I really wanted it, I had to telephone and let them know.
not a lot the food in general and the rooms are dated with the bathroom needing acomplete overhall
Good value and service
Easy parking, very clean, friendly staff, The restaurant was very small conscidering the amount of rooms,,as there was a load of coaches the restaurant was working on a shift basis and I was asked to come back later ( I was famished)..I ended up going to the local Harvester about 5 minutes away which was excellent and very cheep...probably better than the restaurant.
The price. Solely the price. There is nothing about this hotel to recommend it. Actually - the barman - really polite and friendly - and proactive at getting sales Check in. The woman saw me walking toward her, and then turned to another member of staff and she asked about some DVDs he was supposed to be getting her. After they finished she turned to me. Despite me introduicing myself, she asked my name for her notes, and then called me Sir throughout, instead of my name. When I called from my room for an iron she said "What?" I asked if she just said "What?" And her reply was "Sorry, didnt hear you." The room s are like staying in an elderly relatives spare room
staff were friendly
The bed was comfortable TV was not great and wasn't freeview
Good Value for money untidy car park
Waitress at breakfast - very pleasant old girl Not warned that there was a 21st bash on so restaurant closed. No collection of luggage. No bathrobes. very basic at not basic price. Disappointed
nice room and friendly staff
My family and I found Nailcote Hall a comfortable hotel with helpful, courteous staff, excellent decor and delicious food. I have only one complaint in that we stayed on the night of the 25th September, 2007, which was the beginning of the first cold snap of the autumn and the radiator in our room did not function. A staff member however provided us with a small blow heater which took the chill off the room.
Smart and well-run hotel, yet comfortable and relaxing too. Staff very friendly and professional. Lovely location, very handy for NEC. Food very good.
Food and surroundings Only thing that might have caused concern for some was that the noise from nightclub was quite audible in room, late on. However, did not bother us.
full english breakfast
The service was outstanding. A really nice location and golf course The gym is very very small. But a lovely pool
Very large, comfortable room with spacious and modern bathroom. Outstanding food and unfailingly pleasant staff, who did everything they could to please without ever going over the top. Peaceful surroundings and only sorry I did not have time to sample the golf course. A couple of very minor maintenance jobs needed doing in the bedroom, which you have reminded me I did not report - will write later today.
the room was large, clean and comfortable, and staff were efficient and friendly. £12 per day for wifi access is a disgrace in 2010.
Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful and efficient. The restaurant provided good food and excellant value as did the hotel accomodation. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and its staff to friends looking to stay in a hotel in this area. None
Very good value for money, clean and comfortable, free parking and breakfast was adequate. Recently refurbished. Deffinately recommend this to others.
Good breakfast The room we were initially given had not been serviced but that was soon rectified. Also the TV didn't work properly but, again, this was soon recyified.
The hotel was really nice considering it is such a reasonable price. Breakfast in the morning started at 7, but was not ready at 7.. Often took about 10 minutes for everything to come out - so not suitable for those that need to leave early.
Great value for money, I paid £39 for this room at short notice. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location was great for the city centre, which was within walking distance. Very clean hotel lobby and room The shower was a wee bit tricky to turn on/off but otherwise fine
Not a great deal to be honest. Arrived at 7pm and told could not have a meal as there was a christmas party, kept awake most of the night by the party goers banging doors screaming and shouting and then arrived for our continental breakfast to see a box of cereal on offer and that was it!! We left at that point and explained to the receptionist the situation and was looked at blankly!!! Most of it, the reception area has obviously been updated and no doubt the rooms are on the cards! Booked the suite and it did not materialise, we had a fairly "old looking" room.
The Hotel was well situated for our needs with very friendly and helpful staff, a good restaurant and excellent value.
Not all the staff were helpful or polite.
when we arrived there was a queue, only one person on reception, but very friendly. no sheets for the wee ones bed, asked 3 times for sheets to be put in her room, she ended up sleeping on a bare mattress, not impressed, nice pub food but took forever to come.
Ease of checking in and out. The location was ideal for our purpose. However the pool was too crowded to use during our stay.
Comfy beds and good breakfast staff friendly Could not find second towel and tea, coffee and kettle kept in a draw
The Hotel rooms and surroundings were nice and comfortable. The bar staff and reception were helpful and efficient. There was a great atmosphere in the bar. Food was excellent and plentiful. Good locatiton too The restaraunt staff were poor. Particularly at breakfast time. There did not seem to be any maagement present at breakfast time and staff had no interest in making sure you were looked after. 2 mornings we had to ask for basics like cups for our coffee, milk, knives and forks. The staff did not respond pleasantly to this, like it was too much work for them. I did notice a change on Monday morning when we were looked after very well but the staff were also different.
Ease of booking in, room size, location for arranged meal near NEC. Thickness of walls which moved everytime adjacent room slammed door in early hours, shower over bath always dangerous if slip (has happended in Austria-still hurts) - shower cubicle better, bed not stable so creak/move with every twist or turn, mini bar be handy but not specified on booking so aware not available. paper requested when we were prompted but no show up to check out time - issued free when leaving which nice touch as bill paid at that stage
Quiet area of Coventry, nice and peaceful after the hustle and bustle of the 'city areas'. We had a large room with a large, very comfortable bed. Having checked in, we entered our room to discover a 'bomb site' (the room had not been made up after the previous occupant). We were upgraded to a better room but the hotel had two rather disappointing points that should be addressed ... The corridors were 'littered' with the remnants of peoples food and drink from their rooms (and these items stayed outside of the rooms, in the corridors, overnight and were still there the next mid morning) ... and ... the hotel is understaffed, there was a painfully slow wait for breakfast and checking out.
Because I was down for a wedding the hotel was suitable for a function tobe held in.
Staff were quite pleasant and welcoming Did not like the bed was not comfortable the room was too hot although no heating was on, and the noise from the road was loud. Bathroom was filthy, particularly the shower.
I stayed in this Premier Inn on a Business Trip so my use of Hotel and surrounding area was limited, but my experience of the hotel & staff were all good.
Breakfast was perfect. Parking good. Beds were very comfortable except the pillows. Linen etc. excellent. Staff were excellent. Tv not a good picture, picture breaking up when warming up. Pillows too soft - seem to melt away to nothing. Had to use my own from the car. No emergency landline in the room. No free connection to internet or wi-fi. Floor edges in wc were bubbled all around the edges and made squelchy noises when trodden on. Didn't sound at all healthy.
Pleasant helpful staff in all respects General cleanliness of rooms Good breakfast None
breakfast; comfy room; very good shower no. It was great
Friendly service from receptionist and accommodated my request for a ground floor room. I didn't take breakfast because it is so expensive.
Convenience of location for National Agricultural Centre. Very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast available in the hotel itself.
The room was very clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Breakfast at hotel very good Harvester next door the food was really poor
Friendly staff, rooms with the facilities that you need for a stay, easy parking, close to petrol station shop for last minute purchases.
The hotel was easy to fine and ideally situated for visiting the centre of the city. 5 mins walk from the shopping centre, 10 from the Catherdrel. No specifc parking for the hotel, although there was a car park next to the hotel, which the hotel gives you a 10% discount for.
It's quite, cozy, clean and has all the basics that a traveller needs All was great
Clean, modern, attractive Staff not good at helping, bad language
Clean, friendly helpful staff, nice bathroom and bed. No Iron.
Clean good bed nice space good facilities/good None!
Excellent total experience all round No bad points at all
Staff were excellent as was the room itself - Martin was exceptionable - very helpful
Modern, clean, comfortable and efficient staff. Car parking at nearby multi storey car park costing £5-40.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good value for money.
Close to City Not much to do in Coventry
A lovely hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Having to leave. The bar & food prices we felt were a little expensive for our household income of £19k.
The staff were really nice and helpful Nothing
The hotel was light and modern. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast choice was very good Staff polite and eficient.
Easy to find, conveniently located close to motorway
The Attitude of the staff was excellent, I was going to write a letter to you to say this. we were very pleasantly surprised with the Hotel and will definately use Holiday Inn again for any future trips
Good restaurant / bar for cost of room. Overall very nice hotel for money
good staff, good food, would highly recommend this hotel no
location was good, staff were very helpful and friendly.
Booking.Com had not forwarded the correct reservation details to the Holiday Inn Coventry.A morning paper was ordered but not left outside room and only received on checking out at midday.
Not a lot Reception staff, Food.
Hotel room had a strong smokey smell to it even thogh a non smoking hotel
ease of access to rail station & airport & NEC facilities. The staff were very helpful & polite. Would definately use this hotel again.
The staff were very helpfull and the location being close to the NEC The hairdryer in our room did not work.
Easy access to NEC site The decor is a bit "tired" although I appreciate the hotel is well used 24/7
Efficient and friendly Staff Very good pool and liesure set up Room a little basic - very little toiletries and no biscuits with the coffee/tea making facilities
Freindly Staff Value for money size of room no bath
Polite and helpful staff Tv to complecated
Good food and good service Warm, ac would be a benefit
The hotel was comfortable When we entered the room it was freezing. There was no instuctions on how to use the heating/cooling system. We booked an early morning call for 7am, this was not forthcoming and as a result were later than expected for an engagement. When this was pointed out to reception at checkout all that was offered was 'sorry' I feel we should have been offered maybe a free breakfast as compensation.
The public areas were very welcoming, the restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. The coldness of the breakfast room which was almost next to the front door.
I found it very cold in the room even with heating on, should of asked for another duvet!
Helpfulness of staff A bit out-of-the-way
The staff were excellent and the hotel is excellent value for money. The perfect position for getting to the NEC each day as well.
the bed I had was probably the least comfortable I've slept in, I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before and have had no problems.
The waitress who had a sense of humour! The fire alarm going off at 4am (faulty sensor) THe hotel receptionist (miserable)
Good value for money - Nice English check in staff Hotel infrastrcuture looks a bit dated, but then I wouldn't have got if for £50-00 if it had plush surroundings
The hotel was convenient from the motorway network and well signposted. The poor quality of food and general "run down" feeling of fixtures and fittings many of which were not functioning did not make the stay enjoyable.
hotel room very basic, carpet on stairs very drab as if not cleaned, bathroom very cramped, when usingtoilet my knees were up against the shower cabinet, very uncomfortable and limited toiletries, bar very busy with a wedding party so guests had difficulty getting service and seating
Clean, modern room
food was good tired appearance of room, stains on wall
helpfull staff, good food, easy parking no
Good price, in a good location, it had very comfortable beds and pillows, nice fire in the bar. Buffet breakfast not great, the food was served too cold. And the temperature in the bar was too cold also.
We were close to the NEC (attending Crufts) Hotel easy to find, we were made welcome - no charge for our dog, (unlike most hotels/travel lodges). Breakfast delicious and service excellent! Had slight problem with leak on shower attachment (got soaked!) and bath taps a bit strange.
Food okay Reception - bloody slow. Bar - cold and slow servioce.
Lobby bar, reception service. No service at breakfast, cold plates, had to ask twice for tea, then had to get own cups, knifed forks ect... Off other tables, in view of waiters who did or said nothing. Room smelt damp and looked a little dated.
Excellent value for money on the price we paid. Plenty of available car parking space. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to Birmingham and walking distance to Touchwood shopping centre. Good breakfast and leisure centre. Its was cold. Very cold in the corridors and room was cold, as the heating system was not working. Vector heaters had already been given out, but extra blankets were delivered to our room very promptly. Only heating in the room was the bathrooms towel rail.
Good value at £59 but not if if it was dearer Standards have slipped in last 3 years Breakfast not so good No biscuits in rooms Had the nerve to charge residents to park there!
No draught beer
The relaxed atmosphere and friendliness of staff.
