Pros: Lovely little cottage. Don't expect a lot of room if your going with the cheapest fare. It was, however the best deal. We still had room for a cot beside the bed if your trying to be really cheap.
Cons: The bathroom might be a bit dated, but it is very clean.
Pros: staff was outstanding, morning breakfast and coffee was nice, location is great
Cons: a little dusty and old but that is like most cabin / cottages
Pros: Lovely and hospitable.
Pros: Good location for Highlands and local waterfalls.
Cons: Breakfast very limited

Pros: The hotel was clean & bright & open. It was so beautiful with all the balconies that look over the river. They have a big balcony in the main hall, then we had one off our room. It was beautiful!! The staff was great! They directed us to a close-by restaurant (Akros, I think) That food was wonderful!! The best chicken parmesan I've ever had! The whole trip was amazing . & I would stay there again & again! :)
Cons: Not much I didn't like. They were renovating a part of the hotel, so there was some dust here & there, but NOT in our room... so I really can't complain!
Pros: Very clean, comfortable. Great river views from the balcony.
Cons: I am a coffee drinker. Their coffee was not good.
Pros: Clean and affordable. Comfortable rooms and excellent quality of service. I would recommend and book here again.
Cons: Cable tv service terrible. Poor quality picture and limited channels. But I would stay here again because everything else was good especially the services.

Pros: Exceptionally clean, seemed quite new. Personnel were WAY above average. Hotel Employee was exceedingly helpful and personable. Our room was large and had everything we needed. Breakfast was better than we expected. Great experience overall.
Pros: The close proximity to lake Glenville jobsite. The included breakfast every morning was great. Plenty of parking right in front of the door. The staff was really nice and helpful.
Pros: The staff was great and very friendly. Location was on point and easy access to all of our hiking destinations. Definitely will be back.
Pros: The hotel common areas and the room felt incredibly clean and fresh. Then, there's the location, of course - nicely located minutes from Cashiers and Highlands.
Pros: Great location. Nice amenities and decor. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Free continental breakfast.
Cons: Food (mainly the flavor/taste) of continental breakfast could have been better.
Pros: The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. The area was beautiful, as was the hotel itself. The beds were comfortable and the hallways were quiet. My youngest son absolutely loved the pool, although it was cold! Very nice stay!
Cons: While the area is beautiful, it is very remote (surrounded by mountains and very windy roads!) If you are looking for shopping malls and tons of well-known food chains, this is not the place for you! I personally loved it, but it is in a rural setting.
Pros: Hotel manager was exceptional. 10 stars for her
Pros: Beautiful hotel and design. Wife went around taking pictures of the hotel. And location for hiking waterfalls is a perfect plus.
Cons: Nice to have included a 'hot' complimentary breakfast !
Cons: I personally would like better quality breads for breakfast and real maple syrup for waffle station.
Pros: Hotel was nice, it was very far away from shopping and dining.
Cons: There is definitely not enough parking fir hotel guest.
Pros: Location was very good. Price was good. Very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: I was unable to get into the room I was originally booked into. The key would not open the door! So I had to be re-located to a lesser room. Rate was same. This was a little disappointing, took a long to resolve but staff was great at helping out.

Pros: The beds were comfortable, hard wired Internet worked very well, breakfast just o.k.
Pool small but clean- enjoyed it after a 4 hour hike.
Cons: Location good unless you're visiting WCU. Took us over 20 min. one way to get to the university.
The ice machine on the first floor had a power surge and the clerk told me there wasn't another one in the building so went to the gas station for ice only to learn next day there was one working the third floor
Pros: The bed was nice, also the sofa was great. It provided somewhere to relax besides the bed.
Cons: The walls may have been soundproofed but certainly not the doors. Listened to people coming and going well into the night, Even heard the elevator every time it buzzed and beeped.
Pros: Very restful room with a great view of the mountains, open window to the fresh air, great breakfast, good price. The window seat was a nice touch.
Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They knew the areas attractions, restaurants and supplied additional printed information and directions. I found the breakfast very good with a good variety of items. The staff working on the breakfast area were very helpful with questions and worked well with children. The building was very clean and modern. I recommend this hotel for a great base to explore the area from. There are many attractions very close to enjoy during the day and then return to the hotel for a restful evening and good nights sleep.
Cons: The lighting in the room was modern and bright, however, a soft night light type set up would have been great for younger children or older adults, due to the fact that they both have to find the bathroom during the night with out bothering the other occupants in the room.

Pros: Got the best nights sleep! The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Mothing to complain about!
Pros: The morning breakfast staff (I believe) was very nice and helpful. She was also super cute, which made waking up worthwhile.
Pros: Everyone was friendly and overall everything was clean & well maintained.
Cons: There was a slight musty smell that came from the A/C
Pros: The shower was great and the hotel was clean
Cons: The lady who sets up breakfast. Rude! Rude! Rude! Ruined the start of our day. If I did recommend this hotel, I would advise them to skip the breakfast in order to avoid a potential encounter with this lady.
Pros: Employees were very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean
Cons: There was hair in the bed, the tub wasn't clean, the room smelled.
Pros: The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I liked the breakfast.
Cons: The window heater turns on and off, and it woke me up several times in the night. I had to shut it off about 4 in the morning. Also, the light on the patio shone directly outside our window and there was no way to pull the dark curating closed.
Staf was freindly and had a lot of good advice on attractions and food
Pros: free breakfast, parking the location was convenient for why I was traveling
Upon arrival, I was given an accessible room, which smelled horribly of smoke (even though this is a non-smoking hotel). I asked to change, and was given a room, directly in front of the elevators, on the main floor (loud all night). The hotel is not near anything in town, and no way to walk to town. Horrible location, extremely overpriced
Cons: very loud rooms. very over priced.
Pros: Location was perfect for weekend activities in the area and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, trails and WCU's campus
Cons: The room smelled a little musty.
