Pros: I came to the Lake Palace Hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur, and get a little bit of luxury, and some time to write. Right from being welcomed by drums, Robin (RV Singh), and his locally trained staff all made me feel like a prince, and that nothing would be too much to ask of him. The food was lovely, the room was immaculate, the bed most comfortable, the showers the best i've used in India. The location is great, close to the step well at Abhaneri (a must visit, and my reason to be in the area), and it is easy to access from the main road, but far enough away from it to offer real peace and quiet. I liked it so much i stayed and extra day, and it was a treat to go out on a mini safari and get a flavour of the local village life. The hotel also helps support the local area with a library and resource centre they have recently built, which teaches and trains computer skills etc to local villagers, making my stay feel all the more wholesome :)
Cons: No real downsides, I just wish i'd come a week earlier to see the wedding party that had happened; it must be a great venue to hold a wedding at, the building and surroundings are great.

Pros: Beautiful pool, spacious rooms, great food. Loved the pool .. great place to stay

Pros: Location, Environment, rooms, food all were excellent. This is located in the centre of various attractions in Rajasthan - Bhangarh Fort, Chand Bouri in Abhaneri, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Sariska Tiger Reserve....all in the vicinity. Jaipur and Agra are also not too far.
Cons: In rainy seasons, after harvesting, some sort of pests come in the evening. Though they lasts one night. Nothing else to dislike.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a big hotel situated just close to the motorway from Agra to Jaipur, and we chose it just to break the trip. Yet we were pleasantly surprised: despite the hotel is quite close to the main road , you get the feeling of being lost in the country, as it is situated in a quiet, beautiful and well kept park. It’s a boutique hotel, partly still under construction, with huge and spotlessly clean suites. Ours had a really comfortable king size four poster bed and a beautiful bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and varied. Good option for groups but also for independent travellers like us.
Cons: A bit expensive. The items on sale in the hotel’s boutique were overpriced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: My sister and I stayed here here after visiting the Chand Baori. A Very beautiful facility, airy with large and well-appointed rooms. The food was excellent, particularly the morning buffet. This is not an area where many people stop yet I think there is a lot to see. It felt very luxurious and was great value for our modest budget.

Pros: Property
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good place. Nothing to do around apart from hang at the hotel. Good place as a stopover on the road
Cons: No pool or other activities as fairly new place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable spacious rooms. Large new hotel in lovely gardens. Excellent dinner (a la carte) Breakfast was good - cooked to order and "complimentary". Good eggs/ yogurt/ toast/ fresh orange/ fresh pineapple
Cons: I was upset to learn that our driver was not allowed to have breakfast there and no driver accommodation, so he had to sleep in the car. They will need to correct this if they want to increase tourism. Hotel is large, attractive and almost empty in the high season of Rajasthan travel.
