I love KLM, its very spacious and clean and the landing is always very soft. Great Airline!

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Pros: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Etihad keep cancelling their flight just by a email and without rescheduling. It happened to more than four times and every time I had to call them for rescheduling. Really bad reservation system.

Pros: "We bought ticket from New York to Islamabd round trip ticket and fly on August 22nd. After changed plan in Abu Dhabi to Islamabad, there was rain in Islamabad and all flight diverted to Lahore, so our Etihad air plan diverted to Lahore too. once the weather cleared in few hours , all air line did fly back to Islamabad a 50 minutes flight but unfortunately Etihad air way force everyone out of airplane by force. They used police to beat up passenger very bad and drags them out. Then put all passenger in old Bus to Islamabad a 5 hours trip. One of worst air line in my life. We bought ticket for Islamabad not for Lahore. They should take us back to Islamabad after rain stop like other air line did but only Etihad air way did not fly back and beat all passenger by using police on them, it took us 34 hours to get home."

Cons: "My kids are 14 and 15, traveling as unaccompanied Minors to visit their dad in Kuwait. We chose a Etihad because they would only have to be on 1 plane by themselves. I put them safely on the plane in Chicago, and their Dad flew to Abu Dhabi to meet them when they got off the plane and fly together to Kuwait. On the return flight they fly to Abu Dhabi with no problem. Then, they try to board their connecting flight to Chicago, and they tell my kids they overbooked the flight and they can't travel for at lest 2 more days. If they had to remove someone from the plane, how in the hell do they choose a 14 and 15 year old traveling alone to stay in Abu Dhabi for 2 full days! I'm livid!"

Staff was extremely arrogant during the flight, not helpful at all. Boarding process was a huge disaster - no planning, no zone boarding and unnesessary panic. Lastly food, worst frozen food. The portions were too small and very limited service. We won't use ETIHAD again."

I have 2 little kids and it was hard. My first leg was on American Airlines where all my luggage was checked in plus had two carry on luggage, which were all good till Chicago. In Chicago Etihad counter, they refused to clear my carry on saying it was too large and wanted me to pay $300 each. I had to empty one carry on into my backpack and was forced to pay $300 for the other. They should have refused in SFO instead of after my first leg of travel. It's a set up. I will not fly Etihad again period."

After waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do to rebook us anywhere within the next 5 days. Our only option was to accept their full cancellation of both the outgoing and return trips. Completely miserable experience."

Cons: "Being India’s national airline, it needs lot of improvement immediately. It isnt of any use giving review here but for the sake of it, I will. The food was mediocre and repeated. Limited beverage options. Crew was not very responding. Many TV screens didn’t work and even after being told thrice about it, crew didn’t fix it and neither told why. Trash bags were lying open in flight’s food pantry. Never seen that with any other airline. Worst part, the seat comfort and quality of everything in the flightwas below average. Food table, seat covers, etc. None of it is a big deal individually but when all things are combined, the experience of flying air india is not great."

It was really really bad. - The Male Steward was nice, rest am not sure as I hardly saw anyone. - Bathrooms were pretty dirty within an hour of flight - Quality of seats is horrible - The Entertainment system is bad - Flight tracker didn't work so you don't know where you are or how much time left."

Pros: "Steward repeatedly woke me up on a red eye flight to offer me water when I was clearly sleeping and had a blanket over my head-- didn't seem to understand when I explained I'd "just like to sleep and didn't need anything, thank you." screens and headphone jack broken. Very difficult to understand folks on the hotline when I called to see if I could change my flight due to illness. Nice people, certainly-- super kind-- just really not up to snuff for a long haul."
Pros: "Plane staff were very nice. Food & red wine were both very comfy. Loved that they supplied pillows & a nice blanket! The top halves of the seats were very comfy – the same cannot be said for the bottom."
Cons: "Was upsetting that the entertainment consoles did not work for virtually all of the flight, and even when they were the content that I wanted to watch 'could not be loaded' for some reason."

Cons: "We were seated in the 3rd row to a wash room which was broken even before we took off. Water (mixed with pee and other stuff) started leaking and the staff started to put down news papers and sprayed some perfumes. During the flight the leak got worse and carpet under our seats got completely soaked with pee waters. It smelled horrible and we couldn't even put our legs down. Crew didn't do anything to alleviate our pain. They didn't even bother to check on us other than to serve food when the time is up. It was the worst 14 hours our family had to live in our entire life. Shame on Air India."
Cons: "The in-flight entertainment equipment was not working on quite a few seats. The headsets were broken and the controls to flip channels was not working. Hope they fix the equipment so that the passengers can actually enjoy the variety of programs available."

Cons: "The plane was incredibly dated, did not include any type of internet (I would have bought for a premium given the 14 hour flight!), nor basic navigational info, so passengers were left not knowing any details about trip progress throughout the duration of flight. This is as close as one gets to flying in 1992."

Another passenger had broken headphones. The touch screen rarely worked and rebooted 2-3 times during the flight. Very old aircraft. I was transported back to the 90s."
