The location I had to ask for clean towels the bathroom shower and the floor wasn't cleaned good
Nice and quiet setting. Very convenient area. 10/10 would stay again. Nothing to report.
Internet service was terrible.... staff attitude and internet....
Nothing A young couple fighting all night
Location and cleanliness I was worried that someone could comeon while I was sleep because the door was having problrmzearkirbthat I reported to front desk that wouldn't lock.
No towelsNoisey people Drug bust in the parking lot
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The questionable characters hanging about the parking lot. I'm sure some are down on their luck, but some gave me the creeps.
Good location. Crushed french fries on the floor when I first walked in. No shampoo in the shower. It was fine for one night especially because I was leaving very early, but it was very clear undesirable people use the motel for illegitimate business.
Only think I liked was the availability The room was out dated, sheets had stains, no water pressure, toilet didn't flush and the area was highly occupied by drug addicts.

Great price! One bed had crumbs on the sheets.
Staff was great Room was a bit run down and in need of some upgrades.
The sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. A red fingernail was the first thing I saw when I pulled down the sheets. I felt unsafe on the property. There were about 15 men hanging out around my room. I arrived at 11pm. Their stereo speakers were on the walkway and the music was blaring. The couple in the next room was fighting and I could hear every word of their" expletive deleted" shouting match, I finally fell asleep around 3am and was awakened about 9:30am to the shouting from next door and the music blaring outside once again.
The bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure and temperature, room was clean, booking was straightforward, check-in was easy, staff was friendly and helpful. We were looking for a comfy place to sleep & a hot shower and that's exactly what we found. Rooms are outdated and well used. Room was clean, but walls, ceilings, and bathroom could use some attention and repairing of cracks, stains, and holes. Breakfast was a basic contenintal with a waffle iron, but didn't have cooking spray to use it. But didn't expect much more for the budget price.
The good- the staff definitely works hard. Courteous desk staff. Completely clean, no bugs or evidence of bugs, which is more than what I expected, updated, new-looking linens and decor. The TV has a reasonable channel range, and the bed isn't uncomfortable. Water was fine, hot water available and with decent pressure. We didn't eat at the breakfast provided, so I can't comment on it, but I can say that there is an IHOP pretty nearby. There was an odd smell in the room when we first walked in, sort of chemically, but nothing unbearable. I'd rather smell chemical than something sketchy, and soon we didn't notice it at all. There is some noise from the highway, and I don't know if the couple in the room above ours were over exuberant or the walls are just thin, but I was definitely kept up by their activities. There were some repair issues-the toilet was even but its seat was not because it was missing a piece. There were a few other minor repairs needed. The staff is trying, the hotel is clean and up to date, the price is reasonable, but I wouldn't want to stay here more than one night. I don't know that I'd stop in again. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great.
Got to this "hotel" at 11:30pm. First I got keys to a room which they also used as storage. After complaining they gave me the keys to a second room. Both beds on the second room had hairs and dirt under the conforter. They told me it was one of the best rooms and if i wanted they could show me other "good rooms". I drove 5 minutes away and paid $25 extra a night and stayed in a Best Western that had free breakfast, a great location and was spotles. Lesson learned. Spend a little more but have a stay in a great place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this super 8.
nothing lack of service lack of amenities
Absolutely nothing The rooms were extremely antiquated. The remotes were dirty. The air conditioner was dirty. There was hair found on our bed. If i didn't arrive so late and pre paid, i wouldn't have stayed there at all. Nothing was clean. Hallways reeked of smoke . Horrible
Location to area places....food entertainment etc. Loud neighbors and the rooms had very light walls so you can hear the neighbors
Friendly staff and the bed was very comfortable.
Nothing Hole in the ceiling dust covered room staff could care less and if i hadn't already paid for the room I would have left Tv had to be fixed st 12 am because it didn't work
Location Had to ask for Toilet tissue and Iron. There were beer bottle caps on the floor The complimentary breakfast was old cereal green bananas and yogurts.
Nice little room Na
Room was not to bad No ice machine was broken and the breakfast was awful looking didn't even eat.
Its in the middle of a very noisy location and people were noisy up until 03:00 a.m.. It was not very clean. One room they gave us had never been vacuumed and their was hair in the bathroom, second room a.c. did work.
Location! Right on Main Street. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. The price was a bit high for the quality of the motel, but it's proximity to downtown makes up for that. Some really weird characters... seems like they may have full time residents at the far end.
The location is good, near shopping and transportation.
The location on Main St Newark is great. You can walk to the many restaurants and bars in this college town. The motel is just that; a motel. I did not expect the Marriott, just wanted it to be clean and well maintained, which it was.
That they did not have a microwave and they had water stains in the ceiling which is indicative of a leak and also the top of the lamp shade was burnt. Other than that I enjoyed my stay
Nothing good to tell Comforter as cigarette burns and towels are dirty
Nothing Very bad neighborhood, we kept an eye on our car all night, people going talking all night, we could hear everything. Wi-Fi does not work, filthy room, door handle broken for the bathroom.
nothing my reservation was cancelled when i arrived to hotel so i had to look for another hotel.
Plenty of parking Rude. Lost my reservation. Bad area. Little service. Poor quality of room.
Absolutely nothing. The picture on the website was not an accurate indication of the accommodations. We did not stay the night, and checked into another hotel.
He was nice to change room We got robbed not a good place to stay there really bad environment
Ground floor rooms Homeless people around the hotel; cigarette burns on the bed sheets; the bed sheets and pillows have 'Property of Memorial Hospital, Martinsville, VA'; room was supposed to be non-smoking but the room wreaked of smoke; low flow showers
NOT A BLESSED THING!!!!!!! The entire experience was awful to put it mildly. The room stunk terribly, the light fixture between the beds was broken, it shorted out on me when I tried to light it. That is just to start. I have pics of how bad it was. In short, we hated everything!!!
location to downtown it did not provide all of the amenities described online
Location Front desk person didn't speak good English, from behind the glass. No coffee maker in room. Hair dryer didn't work. Cable also had problems.
The room was clean and the location was convenient to my destination. The bed was not comfortable. it was hard znd lumpy.
Rooms was clean and kept up When I was packing the car to come home they kept asking for the keys to the rooms
Location was good, near all stores and eateries. Had microwave & Fridge. No coffee maker; not sure why since they had a fridge & microwave. Only have soap, no shampoo. Noise from people chatting and moving around outside the door.
Nothing special, but adequate if you are looking for low cost place to stay. Really if they just replaced the carpet and furniture with something more modern, this could easily be a 2 star hotel.
All good No.
Hot shower with good water pressure, comfy bed, cold AC, strong WiFi signal. The lobby was funky smelling but luckily that wasn't the case in the room. Some of the guests were pretty creepy or weird but no one bothered us so no big deal.
Nothing, I left. The owner was rude and demanded I hand over $90 "pet fee" for leaving my 3 dogs in the car. I was informed that the pet policy was to charge $15 PER PET PER NIGHT, even if they never set foot in the room!!! Not only is this pet fee higher than most motels, but nowhere does anyone charge for dogs that are kept in the guest's CAR overnight and never enter the room. UNBELIEVABLE. I always pick up after my dogs, and make every effort to keep the grounds clean.
