Great location within walking distance of main square. Hotel was comfortable and we had a nice large room overlooking the canal.
The room. It was very silence Non smoker
This was an excellent value, lovely room & breakfast.
The location near city center
Good central hotel next to canal. our booking from booking.com was lost. luckily the hotel had 2 spare rooms.if not this would have been very problematic.
Location was great. Breakfast was very nice and price was good.
Very central. Clean. Lovely old building features in the hotel. The staff did not communicate at all with us unless we did from our side. We were never asked whether we were satisfied with our room or if there was anything we needed, not even before checking out. It was as though they were not interested in the guests. Even the hotel owners did not bother to converse with guests.
Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent location.
Very functional, no problems
We liked the friendly, helpful, professional staff and the spacious room, as well as the central location of the hotel wrt the train station, museums, city centre and other places of tourist interest.
Very good location in the city center and only 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Very big room (double) and quiet.
Friendly staff, clean and nice accommodation, good location, and a great continental breakfast
I liked the design of the hotel which was imaginative. The location is good, just off the main highway but quiet. The views were fine. The bed was soft. The cleanliness was so so (garbage not changed).
The decor in the rooms was very nice and the food served was lovely
The design. Nice breakfast and breaksfast room. Good size rooms, and bathroom. It's location is too far from the city center of Delft, needed to go by bus.
The food was excellent and the service good. Rooms and bed very comfortable No
Quit hotel, nice facilities
nice view, great interior design, smart features - hooks on the wall, good use of space
there is no internet access in the rooms, the wifi does not work in the rooms, only in reception. This is rubbish!!!
Clean and value for money
Excellent design and good service
felt welcome, good standard, good bed gaood food n/a
Excellent staff and very well-run hotel. Breakfast was very good. If you are looking for a modern hotel in Delft I would consider this one. It is a new hotel so does not have the ambience of hotels in the old center of Delft. As well it was on the outside of the old city -- however it was only 4-5 blocks to the New Church so getting around was not a problem.
Food is great in this hotel: good, diverse menu with tastefull options & good wine list. Free internet access and comfortable & quiet room. Although not the cheapest hotel in town, definitely a great price/quality ratio!
Design of room furniture, balcony and view (7th floor), pleasing staff, extensive breakfast Cleaning of room (Saturday) was very superficial
This hotel is within walking distance to the centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is nice. Internet connection is free of charge in the room which is very convenient. Apart from the construction work around the hotel, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Convenient location to the centre of Delft, nice rooms, and a very comfortable bed.
Nice and clean with great view. Breakfasts could be of better choice
New quality furniture, the design of the room is pleasant, with a flat-TV. When the building of the area will be finished it will be quite close to the city center (about 5-7 minutes by foot). The personnel is quite professional. Check-in and check-out is quiet effective and fast. Free parking up to April 2010 (but it's not a parking - it's just an area for parking without any hard deposition). A canal is situated near the hotel with lots of ducks. Tee/.coffee facilities in room (but no sugar and only green tea - nobody checks what is in your basket). No information about the hotel, facilities or area in the room. No mini-bar (which is strange when you have tea/coffee facilities in the room). Back side of the hotel is affected by the buliding works (in the yard now situated a generator which procudes extrem noise), the face of the hotel looks at the buliding of the whole new area of the city, they also make a new road (the hotel will be situated on a big cross). The windows are not sound-proofed at all.
Very good restaurant; nice breakfast; modern & clean rooms; good bed The heating was not working very well - I was freezing
Everything about the Mainport Design Hotel in Rotterdam is a thoughtful, and comfortable design experience. From it's location overlooking the historic harbor and adjacent to the Erasmus Bridge to position next to the Tram transit stop...is a well connected position in Rotterdam. My room was very comfortable and a high-design style. Service was excellent throughout, not stuffy or pretentious, but well mannered and accessible. Some 5-star hotels trying too hard to be exceptional, making the visitor feel like it's a privilege just being a guest. But I felt that the hotel and staff really are proud of their facility and are eager to share the good vibe with their clients. Only getting to stay two nights.
Location, size of rooms Over decorated, bit to dark
Very comfortable room, relaxed atmosphere
nice large room (studio)
Friendly and professional restaurant staff Single bed- when was the last time an adult slept in a single bed!
Heating system was too bad !! very cold...
Cosy environment, interesting design, beautiful furniture and paintings. The staff were courteous and proficient in their jobs. The hotel was a bit too far from the city center.
the decor was very interresting and we enjoyed that Bad service, i.e. room was not cleaned thoroughly, soap and paper ran out during our stay, two lightbulbs weren't working, coffee/tea supplies was not replenished at all during our stay.. The room lay-out was a bit tight and the bedstead sticks out very far, making it very easy to knock your hips when walking around the bed.
The staff were very attentive and helpful.
I liked the freindly nature of the staff, as well as the location of the hotel. Also this is Roseanne Hill who was booked under Diane's booking and stayed in rrom 1101 with my son. yes, breakfast could have been more fresh and varied. The chair in my hotel room fell apart as i sat on it, causing a small but painful injury to my right arm. I am considering making a claim on this. The windows in the room could not close properly, and we did not have control of the heating in our room as it was centrally controlled. Therefore we had to have extra bedding. The hotel was convenient for our trip in other ways. Also on the hotel review, it staed that we would have a free welcome drink on our arrival. The staff were not awre of this when we asked, therefore we did not get our free drink.
the service of the hotel staff, the size of the room, the view from the room. The main light in the room didn't work properly, the shower was broken...
In fact, the room was even better than that I have ordered (bath and shower instead of shower). Very good hotel. -
excellent service, very friendly staff, room was very nice, price/quality relation is very good.
I would gladly stay there again. It was very appealing, efficient, clean and friendly. Nothing, it was great.
The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is in set in a romantic settings withing the old city of Delft. There is no more staff after 23h00. For check-in, this could be an issue.
Beautiful room with everything we needed. Included a good breakfast. Nothing
Not sure how I would gain access after 12.00 on night of arrival if had had travel problems
Bed excellent quality, portable airco in room nice as I had to keep window shut because of Mosquitos that got in on the first night. Staff good and fluent in many languages, but would like a bit more smiles from some of them.
The location is perfect, the personal is very friendly and helpful, the room is quite comfortable and the free Internet - very important.
friendly helpful staff.its proximiyy to railway station and centre of town
The hotel is delightful, location is great and staff is very friendly. Hotel offered us an upgrade to a more spacious apartment. The apartment is decorated tastefully, all equipped for our comfort and has a great view of the canal.
The Leeuwenbrug was the nicest, most comfortable and well thought out hotel in Europe that I've been in over ~50 years of travel. This includes those that have cost several times more (because they were charged to business accounts.) The tourist part of Delft, Oude Delft, is a physically small area. Because of the hotel location, we were able to walk everywhere conveniently. The hotel had been converted from an individual home and appeared to be newly renovated and very well maintained. The room was more comfortable and had more amenities than usual: electric beds with adjustable headboards that would go up and down, easily enabling reading while sitting up in bed; good lighting in every area of the room/bathroom; 19… yes, 19, not a typo… electrical outlets to plug in electronics; an electric kettle with in-room coffee/tea; an abundance of closet space with hangers; a desk with two comfortable chairs that were on wheels… I could go on, but won't. Breakfast, included in the cost of the room, went way beyond a "typical Dutch" one, with different kinds of meat, fish, cheese, eggs, breads and cereals, fresh fruit, juice, little boxes of chocolate sprinkles, warm crèpes with different toppings, good/real coffee and more. Staff, with one exception, were friendly and helpful. Strong suggestion: In retrospect, if I were to go in Amsterdam again… which we did, staying in a rented airbnb apartment for five days… I would instead stay at this hotel and make the fast and easy commute into the city. While the Amsterdam tram system is excellent, the commute time from our apartment (that bordered on Vondel Park) to most places in the city was just slightly less than the ride to Delft and back. The tranquility of Delft vs. the chaos of Amsterdam would be well worth it.
Very stylish hotel. Futuristic. TV in the mirror. Nice!! Excellent breakfast. They even make omelets. This is rare in Europe. Super great staff. Friendly, very helpful. Parking expensive. Even though the hotel does give a discount.
Amenities, Nespresso machine were good! TV was very strange. And function of 'Smart TV'(?) didn't work. They didn't give a full detail of method for 'Smart TV' operation. Even remote control didn't work well.
Nice & modern. Bit minimalistic but all things you need in a room. Cool late night bar. I wasn't convinced about the flatscreen TV within the mirror so you couldn't turn it. Parking is extra but they give you a discount as it gets pricey very quickly.
verry good vallue for money no negative remarks
Good bed, wi-fi included, conference within the same building, historical heritage in the architecture, beautiful main hall. There was some noise from the street (youth, tourists). Breakfast not included and rather expensive.
Beautiful location. Vert. Stylish . Poor room quality compared to price. Noisy room. Relatively old rooms.
We received a free upgrade to ocean view rooms and that was greatly apprecieated. I found the location on the sea excellent and that combined. An interesting point about this area is that you can stay in a seaside resort and using the well run tram service we had easy access to the Hague. One room did not have a duvet and the carpet smelled of being cleaned just befor we came.
Location. It was where the conference was held. A distance sense of rusted old times.
Dining room ambience and convenience for both the sea and public transport
The view of the see, the style and decor of the building, its beachfront location, and accessibility tram stop is just yards away from the front door.
Location was great, rooms were nice, clean, and modern, staff was friendly Internet was terrible. Took ages for simple pages on the met to open. As a result, I could not be working productively at this hotel.
Location Terrible check-in clerk and very bad concierge as regards arranging taxis.
Immaculate facility, tastefully decorated, excellent buffet breakfast Front desk was disorganized; Parking is difficult;
The public and private areas were exceptionally well maintained and the staff were all you would expect from a five star hotel - and more!!
covenient to town room was only passable. Hotel bar was empty or in fact on our last night closed early
Comfortableand well-equiped. Internet access through cable in my room was included in the price and always accessible. Staff generally friendly and responsive - the failing fluorescent light in my room was fixed the same day. The breakfast staff deserve special mention for friendliness and attentiveness. Real issue about trying to get laundry done. Unbelievably expensive - 26 Euros for 8-10 items and not the same day service advertised. Advise people to find the laundry in the Delft old town instead.
Nice people; well located, clean and quite. good price for value.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would especially commend the night receptionist whose knowledge of first aid was invaluable when my wife fell in the street and dislocated and fractured her shoulder. We were very disconcerted to find that the main access to the hotel has been severely disrupted by major construction works involving the builiding of a new mainline station underground, a new civic centre, a new multistory car park and new housing. This work will continue until 2015. Meanwhile, access to the underground car park used by the hotel has been closed and no nearby parking is available (This did not directly effect us, but could be a major problem for guests arriving by car.)
Situated close to the old town
location elevator not working
Location in the centre of Delft was good and close to all transport links. Breakfast provided was very good. Hotel is situated beside an old church with a clock tower and bells that ring on the hour, every hour, throughout the night. I will be taking ear plugs next time.
Convenience to city centre and quiet nature of rooms Poor parking facilities and steep stairs without railings
The style was very uniq. The reception and staff members was very helpful.
Fantastic location in the old center of Delft at the nicest canal in Delft. Free WIFI. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Very large rooms. One of the best choices in Delft. Steep narrow stairs because it is a historic building.
The courteous approach and the friendly but respectful care for us as guests.
The breakfast was excellent and the people were really friendly. Hotel's location is perfect, walking distance from the train station and downtown. The television are old and small but I didn't have time anyway.
Room was a 3 level suite with a kitchen. Everything you would want for a short or long stay. Lots of sunshine coming in from floor to ceiling Windows. Very clean and almost too warm but opening the door to the patio ( yes, it also had a patio! ). Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Internet went out first night but I was able to locate modem and a reboot got the Internet up and running. Staff on hand did not have a clue how or where to fix it
The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. No 24 hour reception, so don't be late.
We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra charge, which was a very nice gesture. And the three students who worked the AM shifts were all quite pleasant. The location was perfect for us. Though the room was worth it once we got yo it, climbing the two flights of stairs to get to it was a bit of a challenge, especcially after a full day of walking.
A beautiful little hotel in a picturesque setting run by lovely people
Excellent hotel-extremely helpful staff, good location, we had a large pleasant room overlooking canal. ínoisy at night if windows not closed. see above
The location is beautiful and the rooms, though small, are very comforable with lovely bathrooms. The steep stairs, but these, of course, are typical of all old Dutch houses and are part of the character.
It is close to the station and central in Delft itself - also close to TU Delft. Nothing
Great central location and easy to find "odd" room, tired furnishings
Very nice hotel all together, breakfast is outstanding, dinner was included in the room, only 2 choices for the dinner. small portions
have to say, it is an excellent hotel! more than 4 star
room size and comfort, accessibility by car, value for money; if you don't mind the (lack of a) view, then this is about the best you can get in Delft (for this price category, at least)
TV-Program, only 8 Channel
The hotel is very modern and the rooms are spacious and comfortable There is a general lack of information available in the room for example there was no instruction for the safe. There was tea/coffe making facility in the room however there was no coffee or milk provided. the television was very restricted in the selection of channels
hotel is good but restaurnt is not so good
Changed hotels after two days, will not be staying there again It a new hotel which as just opened, but I did not find anything which I liked about the hotel
Low price, simple and good value for monye breakfastfacilities was not in line with quality of the rest
Very large rooms with desk, all very new, flat screen TV, excellent bathroom
The hotel rooms were very comfirtable and nice and clean. They gave me a relaxed feel. Had a very good night sleep. The reception staff were very helpfull and friendly.
I dont know - all very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing!
very friendly staff, great service, great atmosphere in the hotel, loved the design, good breakfast buffet, great value for money location is central but not close to all tourist attractions, shops etc.
The rooms we're excellent
Excellent Room Rate was incorrect on checkout - luckily I'd taken a print of the booking.
Clean rooms, breakfast buffet, 5pm checkout on Sundays A bit far out, but city can quickly be reached with bike or tram/train.
The Receptionist was able to get my wife and I checked in very quickly as we were running late for an appointment. The rooms were very clean and modern
I was asked if i would like to have a room with a view of the town bat check in. Fantastic to give me the feeling that i can choose. No other nh hotel i stsyed with has ever asked me that. Keep up the good work. The long line in the morning to chack out.
Large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff There are no nearby restaurants or shops, which are open in the evenings or on weekends
The hotel, like all NH hotels is well designed without being stuffy. The breakfast was really good and went on until 12 on sunday which is amazing. We were also offered 5pm check-out on the Sunday for no extra charge. Staff were lovely. Would stay there again. Two complaints - the bed was a twin which they said was standard and the location - would have been nice to be a bit closer to the centre as trams end at 12.30. Great hotel for the price though!
Nice comfortable rooms, clean, nice view, good breakfast The free WiFi is incredibly slow, almost unusable. Since I live in the Netherlands I could use my 4G connection instead, but speed of the Internet should really be improved a lot
The location, nice neighbourhood, the hotel is brand new and perfect in every way
The room. The dealings with the staff.
The hotel's location is ideal- very close to the central points of the city and the staff are very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The room service menu may need to be broadened, and given the great gym, a swimming pool would be a nice addition.
Service was very good. The room was comfortable and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay.
room size and confort level
Internet Access No bath, only shower. Noisy rooms.
For a 4star hotel, it was quite shabby.
The location was quite good The bathroom was too small and the lavatory was too close to the toilet; overweight people will have some difficulties reaching the toilet. The room was actually not luxurious.
the location was very good, right in the center of Delft, with goood view. the receptionist spoke English and Dutch with terrible accent, we can barely understand her. She was rude too.
I stayed at apartment. Not the Hotel. The location of apartment is good. And the manager lady is very kind. But the shower and drainage... The drainage is not so good. The facility may need to be reconstructed??. I don't know. Maybe. THX. NON.
Room rate is reasonable. It is close to railway station and siteseeing area.
very central to everything
Location, very close to train station with a nice canal view Although I booked a "Luxurious Room with Bath", the room given at check-in was a "Not luxurious room without Bath". Actually, I did not care at all but it was not a good impression honestly.
The staff were amazing....we have stayed in hotels all over the world and your staff were probably the friendliest and most helpful that we have come across No
I have stayed at this hotel many times and the service is consistently good, the rooms are all unique and it is always a pleasure to stay.
The private hotel car park was an absolute bonus as parking in Delft is impossible unless you stay in a modern hotel out of town with a purpose built car park. A fun hotel with themed rooms not to everyone's taste but a bit different and. in a great convenient location right in the heart of the town We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it was E15 each for what looked like a rather indifferent buffet.
Charming young man desk clerk, very helpful. Beautiful dining room and breakfast. Thank you all so much. Nothing!
Free wireless internet, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff who spoke excellent English
Bar, breakfast very good.Nice decors. It is in the centre of Delft Small bathroom/shower
Even the prices are a little too high, the atmosphere is realy exiting
plaesant warm freindly staff and a well appointed hotel, in beautful souroundings
Nice decoration, massive change compared to hotel chains; downtown location, parking, Wi-Fi, quiet area No restaurant.
well appointed, good situation, friendly effcient service, good food
The view is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, clean.
Proximity to beach. Huge rooms, huge bathrooms. All amenities. Each room has a balcony with seating to better enjoy the sea view
excellent location. first rate facilities
excellent staff, very nice room
we stayed in a sea veiw room, which was very large for european standards(most rooms in europe are small). The bathrooms were large enough for 2 people to use at the same time, being that the toilet had a separate door from the shower and double sinks. The sea veiw balcony was beautiful to watch the sun set into the sea, which goes down around 10pm in July. But the best part was the delicious breakfasts buffet served in the elegant dining room that faces the north sea every morning , it was a nice relaxing time spent with my family before venturing out on our hectic site-seeing day. We have stayed here 5 times and have enjoyed "EVERY" visit. the only down side was that the restauants are supposed to be open until 10 for dinner. we came downstairs just before 9.30 one evening after a very busy day, and they were already closed. we had to go to the bar which has a limited menu and also closes before it is supposed to... we were there in the middle of july... the hight of the season.1 other observation .. they don't have an ice machine... we called room service for ice and they sent up one glass with 5 ice cubes... "I guess they don't use ice for dricks there" ! BUT these 2 items are minor compared the "ALL" of the comforts that the hotel offers... WE "love" this hotel !
women style was a nice touch.
Very comfortable - very relaxed! Superb breakfasts!
Though I had a short stay yet I enjoyed the facilities of the Hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
The hotel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Waking up to see the sea off the balcony was picturesque this is excellent when the weather is nice. It was relaxing to come back to the rooms after a hectic day of site-seeing. We have stayed here many times before we never paid for parking the car (12 euros a day) or breakfast ( 20 euros per person per day ) and a bit expensive.
The beautiful view, the cosy entrance They did not clean the balcony, it was full of cigarettes
near to the center quite expensive
Location, friendliness of staff Wasn't keen on the layout of the attic rooms. The choice fro breakfast was also very limited & didn't seem to be enough for everyone.
The breakfast, which was a gift from friends, was very good. I liked the layout of the hotel and the rooms, with all the twists and corners. You can easily let the tickets of the wireless internet expire when there is no staff around (after 11 pm). That means no internet until the morning. Watch out.
Excellent staff, clean rooms, WiFi, at city center. everything great. Thank you!
location everything we wanted was in walking distance hotel staff very helpful and friendly
eveyone was very helpfull and ready to help there was no hot drink facilities in the rooms
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Hotel and the breakfast especially was excellent. Thank you.
furnishings; spacious room the bad smell on the reception floor; the morning coffee was undrinkable; the location for parking was quite far away off the hotel (the distance was not indicated in the hotel information); no lift
Friendly staff available for late arrival, good location in the centre and close to the railway station, good breakfast
friendly, clean and close to centre perhaps change breakfast a bit so not same every day
