Pros: Great location, helpful staff, nice room, comfortable bed Cons: Under staffed, disappointing breakfast, downtown noise We stayed for a long weekend. The location is close to the mall tram and lots of restaurants. Easy airport access via Union Station. Large comfortable room. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast: Unfortunately our weekend coincided with a fantasy conference (the conference center is just down the street) and there were long lines at breakfast that overwhelmed the staff. They couldn’t restock the food quickly enough. The dirty dishes stacked so high that they crashed to the floor and nearly injured a child. They have 2 pancake machines that take about a minute for each one and everyone wanted at least 2 pancakes. The juice dispensers were dispensing water. Once the conference ended the lines subsided and the food was restocked but it was not good and we opted to eat elsewhere. Facility: We had a large corner room with automatic blackout curtains, king bed, pullout sofa, and kitchenette with microwave, large fridge, dishes, and sink. Our room was not cleaned over the entire 4 days, even after specifically requesting it, They finally brought us fresh towels and sheets but we had to change the linens because the staff were gone for the day. We noticed pot smoke entering our room via the ventilation system which stopped after the conference ended. The employees were very friendly and wanted to be helpful but it seemed like this hotel is very understaffed. We didn’t have a car but noticed they only have valet parking for an additional fee. TLDR: Don’t stay here for the free breakfast or during a large conference. Very nice room with a convenient location.
