Located just 10 minutes away from the downtown, the new Hyatt Place Denver Cherry Creek offers guests the convenience of popular destinations such as The Cherry Creek Shopping District, Denver Zoo, and The Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The hotel has 11 stories with 194 guest rooms and over 3000 square feet of meeting space.
This facility is clean, has a super location and the friendliest, most professional staff I've encountered in years. From the manager to the front desk staff, they simply could not be more service oriented. The breakfast buffet was the best and biggest we've seen; fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs and more. Super coffee! A great value for the money.
Nothing comes to mind. Our four days at this hotel were better than we expected.
Wonderful breakfast in the lobby area; set up to be very socially friendly. Great location.
Great staff. Ice interior
Had a mountain view room and got to watch the sunset over the mountains; amazing. The breakfast was very good- fresh fruit, oatmeal/yogurt bar, french toast, waffles, and all the regular items on continental breakfast. They also have a 24/7 service where you can order anything off of their menu, drinks and Food or dessert. Staff was always friendly!
Maybe floors in room could be updated. But it was not bad.
I love that they included a continental breakfast and the food was good. the location is very central and convenient if you are going to visit Denver University.
I chose the hotel because I wanted queen beds and reserved a room with 2 queens. I called to inform them that we would be a late arrival and they said that would be fine. When we got there after a very long trip we were given a room with only a king bed and a pull out couch.......after some discussion was told that since we booked through a third party site we basically were not a priority and they had given the 2 queen bed rooms to other guests. No offer for a refund (king rooms sell for $20 less) just an insincere apology that those were the only rooms available. I was too tired to go elsewhere so stayed, but will probably not be back.
not having my reservation ready when I arrived to the desk after having booked through third party carrier some 6-8 hours earlier causing unecessary wait
Worst costumer service I've seen in a while. you don't be rude to the people who give you money.
staff very friendly and professional fairly close to variety of food spots nice views of mountains
bathroom ceiling had mildew or water blotches, needed to be painted faucet in bathroom barely cleared the edge of the basin, almost made a mess with water every time i used it, furniture getting kind of worn down, tub/tile very functional but seemed dated, would have ditched the fancy frosted glass sliding door for a regular door and better tub/tile/faucet.
clean and convenient
Breakfast was pretty good and lots of options, roomy room (suite) and good location downtown right off a main road close to things to see.
Wish it would of had a pool!
A huge value in a central location. Slightly aged hotel with quality repairs and well maintained. 10-15 minutes from most major points of interest in and around the city. Friendly staff if not the most helpful.
The hotel is obviously older and our AC made weird sounds throughout most of the night. When you turned the thermostat down below 70 degrees the AC unit just turned off. When we spoke to the front desk they sent someone up the next day to look at it. It was obviously not fixed as we slept through the rest of the nights under just a sheet; anything else left us sweating.
The morning buffet was great! The choices were wonderful and the items were kept hot.
Clean, complimentary breakfast, mountain view, in a good area and very close to downtown Denver so that was nice
Staff was not helpful, room service horrible, had a king room and they gave me 2 doubles and wouldn't change it
Nice Hotel, friendly staff, modern clean rooms, great location for us
Breakfast, while adequate, could use some improvement.
Beds very good but should have asked for feathered pillows as could not sleep on their hard ones.
Pillows. Ask for more comfortable ones
Bedroom and bathroom layout. Plenty of room.
Pillows and bed too hard. Temp control did not work. Too hot and couldn't cool it off.
Awful rooms and incredibly noisy. What a ripoff.
I enjoyed being able to sit on the couch in the room and relax for a while. I also enjoyed the size of the shower and bathroom. The room was nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly.
The elevator look like it hadn't been renovated since the day the hotel first opened. The pain was chipped and the handles were are cracking and peeling. I also wish the hotel had a fridge.
