Loved the location and the deluxe king room was beautiful. The only issue we had was the cost for valet parking our car and lack of other recommendations from the hotel for alternate parking.
Warm inviting hotel with nice decor and very fresh staff. This is my go to hotel in downtown Denver.
Pros. Great location next to Union Station and lots of great restaurants. A bit if old world charm in this very old hotel which has been really well maintained.
Cons. Nothing
Pros. Friendly staff, great room very comfortable, bourbon hour and the location
Cons. Provide Room service menu from urban farmer
Pros. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Loved the ambience of an older hotel remodeled to high standard.
Pros. Great personal attention. Cathy at front desk very professional and caring. Excellent service all around.
Pros. The hotel exudes charm and luxury. It reminded me of the "grand Budapest hotel" where everything was run perfectly. The staff was phenomenal and anticipated needs before we had to say anything. The hotel was extremely well kept and clean, had an amazing bar, and an exceptional lobby where we enjoyed the evening's whisky tasting and a chat. Top notch hotel.
Cons. My only complaint is that we booked a room with a queen bed and not a king.
Pros. Unique and interesting building; very friendly staff; gym was amazing; location was unbeatable
Pros. Location. Staff. Architecture.
Cons. Outage of running water. Street noise from outdated single-pane glass.
Pros. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew we had picked the right place. Everything about the hotel is intended to insure the comfort and experience for their guests. From the old key and hassle room key to the Victorian period furnishings to the Cruise Room bar, you feel like you are part of another time. The staff was fantastic, the service was 5 star and the custom cocktails and history lesons in the Cruise Room were fantastic. Best location in Downtown. Perfect for first time Denver visitors or anyone looking for the perfect weekend getaway.
Cons. The bed was too high and too firm for my taste and the only chair in the room was not comfortable. It is a hard balance to use period furnishings and keep them comfortable to today's standards I'm sure.
