Pros (+) Liked having more room than just a bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was good, and free. Windows could open. Rooftop patio was nice. Staff was helpful. Location was just a couple of blocks from 16th street mall. Restaurants within walking distance.
Cons (-) Guess I've been spoiled by other Residence Inns. The smell was very disturbing even with windows open. Furniture was worn out and dated. Carpeting was bad. Kind of sketch area even for a downtown felt barely safe in the evening or very early morning which is a shame if you like to walk places, though it didn't stop us.
Pros (+) This was my first time staying at the property and I would stay there again. It was a comfortable stay, the room was clean and it was a good location.
Cons (-) The only issue I ran into was a delayed check-in but I was still in just before the 4 pm check-in time and there was an error programming my card causing me to have to go back downstairs to reprogram my card when I couldn't get into my room aft the first day.
Pros (+) Great location within the city, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed.
Cons (-) My particular room was sandwiched between the elevators and the hotel gym-- lots of thuds from banging weights. Gym should not be adjacent to guest rooms, sharing a thin wall. Also, complimentary breakfast ended super-early-- should be 10:30, not 9:30.
