7.0 Good
Pros: Location is fine; didn't have breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable
Cons: Evening dining experience was horrible! I and a party of 3 arrived at 6:30 pm. Were not seated until 7:20pm, although many tables were empty. After seating, we ordered drinks and dinner. Took a good 10 minutes to get drinks and another 30-40 minutes to get food. Our server was nice and did as well as he could, but there were long delays after requests for more water and additional drinks. Not his fault, as he had too many tables to take care of. It is obvious that the restaurant is very under staffed. While we may sympathize with that, it is inexcusable in a service oriented operation. We were in town for 5 nights and never considered a return, nor did we recommend any others we met to go there. We finally got our bill paid and were out the door 3 hours after arriving. Totally unacceptable!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for a walking/ touring etc visit to the Flaming Gorge area. Ver6 close to the dam visitor centre an£ lots of the trails, viewpoints and river activities. Very friendly staff at the resort. It is very much an outdoors activities area and the lodge type property reflects this in style and facilities. However our lodge (314) was just what you would hope for in this sort of area, with comfortable bed, clean crisp bedding and towels and a great outside terrace with views to die for. Park your car at the door and good short walks on site without using the car if you need a quick stroll. Restaurant on site with great staff and really good wholesome meals after a day out hiking or exploring. Does good breakfasts from really early if you have a long day planned. Well stocked shop on site. Perfect for this type of outdoor break. Would certainly return.
Cons: A bit mor3 storage space, would have been useful, but not a big issue. Wi-fi is a bit erratic but that is not really unexpected given the remote area, and still managed to do everything necessary with a bit of patience.

6.3 Good
Pros: The location is perfect for fishing and water sports
Cons: The room had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard nor was the kitchen fully equipped, the fan switch on the air con was faulty so was the curtain track in the bedroom. no plugs for the bath or hands basin,
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The people all very friendly and inviting: from check-in to the wait staff - to the lady on the porch with a goat!??They have a nice little gift and fisher-person shop. The restaurant was great and food plentiful. We had the BEST waitress I’ve ever had in my travels - Amber. She has lived there her entire life and knows everything to do, serving and engaging each visitor with enthusiasm. The lodge has much better information on hikes etc then the Visitors Center. We were not here to fish or boat, but if you were it appears they had everything needed to support this, including box lunches and plenty of tackle gear.
Cons: The rooms were basic motel rooms - hardly what one might envision as “resort” - more “country cabin comfortable” which is totally appropriate for the setting. The beds were fine but nothing that made you want to stay in bed all day. We would have liked to have a mini- fridge to keep our hiking / picnic food cold.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was good for what we were looking for.
Cons: The restaurant took half an hour to seat us. Then we waited over an hour for our food. When we complained all they offered us was a couple of rolls. This was on a Thursday night (not the weekend). Not happy with the service. When we finally got our food, it wasn’t that good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of extra bedding,pillows,towels...great place
Cons: Both the pull out and the roll away were in poor condition.
7.5 Good
Pros: location. on-site restaurant
Cons: seems pretty basic for the price - but there's not much else around - location is beautiful
