Pros: I liked that they had free breakfast every morning, their pool was a great size, made everyone feel comfortable.
Cons: I just wished they had more breakfast options, even though I didn't mind eating their free waffles everyday.
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable, great location, great staff
Cons: Breakfast was okay.

Pros: This is a beautiful country inn. The inn, cottages , and grounds were pristine. Staff was nice. I stayed in cottage #38 which has a porch that looks over a serene wooded area. I arrived near dusk and as I came onto the porch of my cottage, five doe were just below in the open woods. I sat on the porch and watched the sun set. Very peaceful. The cottage I was in had a shared porch with the adjoining cottage, put no one was there most of the evening. The cottage was very nice, impeccably clean, great heater when the evening turned chilly. Wifi worked, but slow. If I went bak I would stay in the cottage again.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a small coffee/tea maker in the cottage (like hotels have) or a small microwave. Had to go to the main inn to get a cup of tea. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, the walls are paper thin. The couple that had the adjoining cottage came in around 11pm and were only talking to each other but I could just about hear everything. Had they been a rowdy bunch it would have very much detracted from my stay. They finally stopped talking by midnight and it was quiet again.
When visiting Stroudsburg, Stroudsmoor Country Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests can indulge in spa services, and SCI - The Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Pros: good front desk service and great rxperience from breakfast service team
Cons: I incorrectly booked the date and realized it in 2 min and they did not let me cancel or modify the reservation
Pros: Elegant building, illuminated entrance, well kept parking area. Great reception staff, Hotel Employee did their best to insure we had a great stay. Free wifi, free breakfast was a lovely morning host. Indoor pool, business center.
Cons: small exercise room, which is great and has some aerobic units. Only problem is, major units were out of order.
Pros: The pillows...there were enough and they were comfy.
Cons: The room was kinda noisy- well the neighbors above sounded like they would crash through. The water in the tub coulda been a little hotter and also some yellow water came out.
Pros: Nice facility. Manager was customer oriented.
Cons: Check out time too early. Head of housekeeping had horrible customer service skills.
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Pros: The room was great. Large and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. The hotel isn't far off of I-80, so it makes for a good spot to stop if traveling to NYC or through the Poconos to New England.
Cons: staff was excellent - friendly, accommodating and welcoming!
Pros: Staff was very kind and professional. Location was close enough to the highway exit. Breakfast had quite a few hot and cold options and the extra hours to 12pm were helpful. Building appeared modern and well maintained. Room was neat and spacious.
Cons: I value sleep in hotels. AC unit had rattling sound but my ear plugs helped. Pillows were way too soft/worn out/not supportive. Ceiling wall too thin, I kept hearing the steps of a running child. Some breakfast items were cold or bad but staff helped.
Pros: Clean and roomy. Free Breakfast
Pros: breakfast included....microwave and small refrig in room
Cons: The eggs are artificial or something. they did not taste good. They need an extra toaster for all those people/
Pros: The staff working the breakfast buffet were SO helpful and friendly!
Cons: The sheets on one of the beds looked clean, but didn't 'feel' as freshly clean as those on the other bed (liked they had gotten tangled up in the dryer).
Pros: The breakfast lady was the best. She was beyond sweet and helpful. To be honest she made my entire stay. She gave me such a pleasant experience. When we left there was no one to check us out. We saw the breakfast lady again and she took our keys.
Cons: I thought the young man working at night could have been way friendlier. I had to ask him where was the gym and the pool instead of him jist telling me. While I was checking in. He never told me they had cookies there I had to find out from a guest.

Pros: This Hampton Inn is one of our favorites. Great staff, clean comfortable accommodations, nice pool and exercise room, and the best Hampton Inn breakfast in PA. Our thanks to them for being such a reliable stopover on our trips from NY to Ohio and back!
Pros: We chose this inn because past reviews stated it was "clean". We found this to be true. Walkable distance to downtown stroudberg with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops.
Cons: Smoking outside the main entrance. Stinky.
Pros: Rooms should have individual thermostats. Was up most of the night adjusting temperature as it was either too hot or too cold
Cons: Disappointed in room for cost. Paper thin walls had to change rooms for noise. Continental breakfast was horrible. Ammenedies poor
Pros: My son threw up all over the bed and the staff was very friendly and addressed the issues immediately. Everyday the staff was nice to my family and son.
Pros: We loved the convienient location. All we had to do was walk a block up to get to a bunch of bars and shops. It was about 10-20 min drive from many outdoor activities. We enjoyed that breakfast was included. While not a luxury hotel, it was very clean and the staff at the front desk was always very friendly and eager to help.
Cons: None of the Tvs were working during our stay due to a cable issue so that was a huge problem. Also the woman who worked the breakfast buffet was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable while trying to eat. She would stand next to us and stare as we got out food. The one day we got there about half hour before breakfast was supposed to end and she started aggressively yanking out all the plugs of the appliances right out from under us as we were trying to use them. Last, I felt that the pricing was a little high for the quality of the stay. Overall We would definitely stay here again though!

Pros: The bed was comfy and the room had bygone era charm. We loved the porch and grounds. Despite all of the things we didn't like, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I agree with the reviewers who think it needs updating. There were 2 weddings happening on the night we stayed, and the music from each throbbed throughout our room until, which made it difficult to relax. Our room was on the side of the inn where the long walkway to the function rooms was. People's normal talking voices could be heard. Luckily there was no rowdiness.

Pros: My girlfriend and I stayed here after a few days on the Appalachian Trail and it is located close to the trail itself making it convenient for hikers.
Cons: There aren't many options in DWG itself, Wolf Hollow happened to be the most affordable. Girl at the desk was brand new and took a while getting us the room key. Rooms are very dated with old furniture and tiny tv. Early check out time (10 am) also kind of sucks. Price is a little steep for over all experience.
A great stay at Wolf Hollow At The Water Gap Country Club in Delaware Water Gap can include a round of golf at the 18-hole course. The seasonal outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at The Grille at Wolf Hollow, which serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a bar/lounge, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Cons: A bit rundown and the towels looked like well used "hand me downs" that have seen better days.
Pros: Checking in at an outdoor window was tacky. The room was in poor repair and uninviting.
Pros: Room was ok....few pubes on toilet seat but cheap room what can u do!?
Cons: Booked for 2 days on business, found out only in town for 1 day & Lady at check in refused to refund my 2nd day...stated "I can call the sheriff if I like" & never gave me WIFI password & called desk to get it and guy screams it into phone & hangs up on me....ok room for the price but the unrofessionalism and rudeness trumps any ok deal in my book....stay someplace else!
Pros: We came originally for 2 days on June 25th from Brooklyn , me my wife + 2 kids. Then had to cancel second day due to emergency situation. Very polite stuff, very responsive . Gave us extra pillows. Very good free breakfast. Fresh room, no smells like other hotels. Nice clean bathroom. Perfect location, close to Main Street, where all restaurants bars, cafeterias, etc. also nice walk at night down to Main Street . The campground 5 min away to make barbeque. Will definitely come back here again.
Pros: Room was clean and was kept clean daily. No strange smells. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked. Good work space desk/chairs provided. Exactly what I would hope for in a lower-rate hotel. Perfect for a quick stay when you are primarily just going there to sleep. Nice adjustable shower head in bathroom. Convenient location.
Cons: No in-room coffee maker. Very strange building layout, room was tricky to find by number alone. Obviously older building. Very dated bathroom, although everything worked. Parking lot is a bit of a squeeze.
Cons: Very outdated

Pros: Good spot for quick layover
Cons: Furniture outdated and appeared in poor condition
Cons: No continental brekfast for cree.
Pros: Food prices for breakfast were good. And it's easy access. And centrally located. Friendly staff.
Cons: The decor. The dark , gloomy and seamingly dirty bar and restaurant. Everything is covered in fake plant material. I do mean the entire ceiling. God only know what kind of dust and grease is on them. Vending machines were either broke or empty.

Cons: Accommodations were very poor... Bathroom didn't even have a door. Two of the ceiling tiles looked like they were about to drop at any time. Was charged for a king room, but was given a room with one double bed. Asked about being refunded the price difference but was told since I booked online, there was nothing they could/would do about it. Room had no toiletries... Although I bring my own shampoo, etc., would have at least liked soap to wash my hands. Room next to us was being painted... Obviously somewhat of a strong smell.
Pros: The staff were so nice, they let us have a barbecue in the back. The rooms were clean and it was really near to so many attractions. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Quality Inn and I'm looking forward to coming back again

Cons: No towels in the room. The facilities smelled and the room was extremely dark. None of the lights were even plugged in. Worst part is the Kleenex box was empty and they didn't even have any bAth towels.
Cons: filthy rug and chairs. my feet were black after going barefoot in room and I was afraid to sit on the chairs.. dirty halls. desk staff rather unfriendly. seems to be a "residential" hotel. grounds unkempt .basically not acceptable. "breakfast" poor fare.

Cons: The condition of room bad
Pros: The location.
Cons: Nope, it was fine.

Pros: Location. Next to great restaurants and activities
Cons: Pool is not open and advertises an outside pool. Continental breakfast very poor. You are offered a muffin, coffee, or juice.
Pros: Close to town
Cons: Manager was not very friendly . No communication skills .To close to highway lot of noise .

The owners were very nasty people, the man lied about his name, but said they were the owners. Uncooperative and mean. They didn't want to help us in many was, they at one point shut the internet off on us so we couldn't use it. My family was very uncomfortable and displeased. The man(owner) even suggest that we don't use the towels and clothes since him and his family never use hotel towels. Suddenly it made sense why the clothes were so disgusting. They simply don't care about guess satisfaction!
