Opt for a Room Away from the Highway
If you're a light sleeper, consider requesting a room away from the highway to minimize noise disturbances, as some guests found the traffic noise disruptive.
Check for Pet Fees
If traveling with pets, be sure to inquire about any additional pet fees, as some guests were surprised by a non-refundable pet fee that was not disclosed during the booking process.
Verify Room Type Upon Check-in
Double-check that the room you receive matches the type you booked, as a few guests reported discrepancies between the room they reserved and the one they were assigned upon arrival.
Consider Parking Costs
Keep in mind that there is a $10 parking fee, and note that the hotel disclaims responsibility for any stolen property or car damage in the parking lot, which some guests found concerning.
Plan for Breakfast Timing
Breakfast is served from 7 am, so if you have early morning plans, consider the timing of the breakfast service, as some guests wished it was available earlier.
Inquire About Noise Levels
If noise is a concern, consider asking for a quiet room, as some guests experienced disturbances from neighboring rooms and hallway noise.
Be Mindful of Deposit Requirements
Be aware that a $100 non-refundable deposit is required for pets, and a $150 deposit is necessary for incidental charges, which some guests found unexpected.
Check for Room Odors
Some guests noted that their rooms had unusual odors, so it may be helpful to check the room upon arrival and request a change if necessary.
Confirm Amenities Availability
If specific amenities are important to you, such as a seating area or a king-sized bed, it's advisable to confirm their availability upon booking or check-in to avoid disappointment.
Verify Payment Options
If you prefer to pay with cash, it's recommended to confirm the payment options available at the hotel, as some guests were not allowed to pay with cash at check-in despite selecting the "pay at property" option during booking.
