Pros: I like their fireplace, it is unique and fun to set it up. They even have a peacock. The place is nicely decorated, and very romantic.
Cons: It is a bit hard to find, especially after the dark, as their sign has no light. A quick tips is that their office is at the dead end of the road, in front of a gate.

Pros: The property itself was exquisite. The room, the pool and landscape was utterly gorgeous. Very inspirational. The staff was great as well, especially the valet.
Cons: The food was very "meh". I would have expected much more from the mac and cheese than a bowl of Kraft mac and cheese. ....As a mom, its easy to spot.
The beer was flat as well. The salad had a generic sugary raspberry dressing. Its a competitive food world out there, so I think Monte Sagrado could do much better. The music in the bar was really youthful and felt like a bad night club. Staff was fine though. Everything else in the resort completely made up for the experience though!

Pros: Staff was super friendly and the location was neat.
Cons: Our room was 80+ degrees though it was 45 degrees outside at night. We couldn't get any circulation in the room, as only one window opened with a screen. There weren't enough outlets to put the fan on in a convenient place. When we booked the room it said there was a pull out bed but there wasn't. The entire room was tiny and only had one full size mattress, not a queen as advertised. We left at 5:30 AM because we couldn't sleep through the heat.

Pros: Great breakfast buffet, nice view of mountain range from my room.
Cons: no cleaning services, no staff on-site near my room (to request towels, etc), pool is in another building and locked, exercise room smells bad and in another building, room not as big as what I thought we'd be getting (according to pictures on website).
Pros: Well-located on the main drag. Beautiful public areas of hotel. Fabulous and extensive complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Inadequate lighting in the room.
Pros: This is a great value for a 3 star hotel. Great restaurant and bar, cute place overall. It's not a luxury hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised at the great hotel at 3 stars.
Cons: The room was small and the TV was an old tube TV.
Pros: Made to order breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The fitness room was as large as the closet smells like paint and everything seemed a little outdated and run-down
Pros: The main lobby -- this hotel was built in 1930's. Really a charming example of Adobe architecture -- very nice restaurant and bar -- decoration wise. Breakfast included and was very good. The architecture and decoration in main building lobby/ restaurants is worth seeing.......people are very nice...but the need to up their game accommodation wise.
Cons: Old part I would not recommend -- not solid feeling when you step on floors -- the newer building is not concrete between floors so you hear people walking on 2nd floor rooms if you are in 1st floor rooms. They gave us a room in old section, electricity went off, then phone..i asked to be moved to newer building -- which were suites and they moved us at no extra charge..then that room had no hot water and no water pressure. So we moved for a third time and that had hot water and no water pressure...next day pressure was better but room was noisey since a bunch of construction workers were staying on the 2nd floor. But the building is historic and worth seeing but I would not stay there again.
