It was nice and clean though in some areas you could smell the cleaning products. Bed was very comfortable. We had to leave very early so we didn't get to try breakfast All showers should have hand held heads.
Great bed, slept well.pet friendly, had large areas of grassland to walk my dog Late on towells,no coffee pack for coffee maker in room, ice machine broke
It was close to a McDonalds The mold smell was overwhelming. The tv didnt work. The fridge was broke. They gave us a new room and the smell was just as bad but now the shower was broke and we had to take a sponge bath. We ended up asking for our money back and walked to new hotel.
It was disgusting piss on TOLIET ring, sheets had bed bugs crawling and ants. The curtains were dangling, and the carpet was wet and the room Smelled!! There were no seats in the room, no towels! It looks disgusting!! And I took pics and a video! It was disgusting piss on TOLIET ring, sheets had bed bugs crawling and ants. The beds were comfortable!!! I'm willing to give them another try if I am ever in that area. I had two rooms and my traveling companions complained about the bathroom and finding spidersspiders in the room. We also did not like the breakfast choices. We had to eat at the McDonald's next door.
Good location for what I needed. Nice town. It took the front desk almost 20 minutes to check me in, because they couldn't find my reservation, but just happened to have one room left. I was irritated. They were nice and apologetic though.
Friendly staff, nice size room, clean room, good breakfast. Coffee pot in bathroom, shower did not work right, light out on outside sign
Cleanliness, quietness and cable tv. Continental breakfast ran out of hot food within the first hour of serving.
close to the freeway very dated but it was very inexpensive. You get what you pay for.
It was the least costly hotel available. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. Also, the pillow was more comfortable than it seemed like it would be at first. Oh, and it was nice and quiet, didn't even hear my neighbors. Cleanliness was lacking. The sheets had weird red droplet stains, probably wine. I tell myself it was wine. The air had a dinginess to it. The carpet was sticky in places. I tell myself that too was wine. The fridge looked disgusting, I was afraid to open it.
Even though the hotel was old. It was impeccably clean. Free breakfast was slim. Bread for toast, cereal and coffee.
Cold AC and frig in room Seemed to me there were people living there. Did not feel very safe.
Was quiet. And not busy. Pool small and not too deep for kids. Pool could have been cleaner.
This was a nice hotel; however, it is a good distance from almost everything, and walking was not an option. If you want to see the town or shop, you have to drive, and one-way streets double the distances. There is one recently opened restaurant within walking distance, which has a very good menu selection. The free breakfast is a little lean on healthy selection, and there is seating for only 8 people in the breakfast area. The pool is very small, and was closed. We were told it was closed for the season. The guest laundry was frequently in use by hotel staff with bedding. The town of Waxahachi has amazingly well maintained old homes and businesses, and has very nice self guided driving and walking tours established to see a large number of them. We were there for the Veterans' Day services, which was awesome. This community does things on a Texas scale.
The room was clean and fairly comfortable. The bed was a little too hard for me. Thankfully our room did not smell. Friends traveling with us in another room had to switch rooms due to the smell. No elevator was a slight problem for us since we had a lot of expensive equipment that had to be brought to our room. We asked for a room on the first floor but there were none available. The front desk kept deactivating our room key on our last day which made checking out very difficult. We had to keep going to the front desk for a new room key everytime we would go to the car to load something as we keep getting locked out. This was well over an hour before checkout.
We really appreciated the very comfortable room at Super 8. The microwave and refrigerator came in handy so that we didn't have to go out to eat that night but could just have snacks in our room.
It was close to my event I rented two rooms I got one on the first floor and the other in the 2nd floor the beds need to be way better I could feel the coils
Clean hotel, friendly staff, excellent price. Good location right on I-35 and for access to Waxhachie. We especially liked the fact that hotel rooms were accessed from an inside hallway as opposed to outside--it is more secure.
Clean and very good price No elevator if staying on 2nd floor
Breakfast wasn't ready at 6am. The free wifi wasn't available.
