The hotel was in a pretty good location for dining and going to the each which was great. The staff was very friendly and courteous, made us feel very comfortable. And the mini fridge in the room was huge! The hotel seemed just kind of sad? The ceiling of our room was wooden planks which was pretty cool, however the bed was extremely hard, the bathroom was tiny and the bath tub wasn't too clean. The hotels "heated" pool was ice cold the entire stay, no towels on the rack for guests to use, the door to the pool was not locked. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel as the weather during our stay was very cloudy and a bit rainy. Kyak.com said the hotel had a hot tub, it did not. No shower curtain. The breakfast was not even warm, room temp at best. I just stuck with the muffins because of that.
Didn't get NON-smoking room as requested. Smelly!!!! Door to room could barely open/ close over carpet and would NOT even open wide. In an emergency we couldn't get out fast at all!!! Bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was just OK.
The wood ceilings Everything front desk manager sucked
Best breakfast, very nice staff and it was quiet It was next to a funeral home
The location of the hotel was great. Close to many restaurants and shops. The room we were in was less than desirable. The ceiling had black/grey spots above our bed, I'm hoping it's not mold! The beds were old and saggy. Our "view" on the first floor was of an old delapitated fence with what looks like a run down house next door that can see right into the room. The bathroom needs updating, there was someone's hair stuck to the ceiling of the shower and the worse part was that the heater that you had to turn on ran and sounded like an old window unit a/c. It would be die on fan but when it kicked on to heat it would be so loud you couldn't sleep. Worst couple nights sleep ever! And the "heated" pool is freezing cold!!!
Our non smooking room was very humid and smelly. Pool area was sauna style. I do not recommend this hotel
I liked the attitude of the staff, as they were extremely nice and willing to help.
Great breakfast spread no
It was nice and clean every thing was perfect . I do not like to go to hotel because of so many things they say and talk how the place are so nasty and filthy I did not want to go hotel but this was perfect. The only thing I did not like was there was a baby in the next door and he or she cry and cry and also making so much bunging it was distebing but so fair every thing was okey.

From the time we arrived the hotel had a clean and comfortable feel to it. The staff was very friendly, helping us to find wonderful places to eat and visit. The room was clean and well cared for. The breakfast at the hotel was a great time saver with a little something for about every taste. The location of the hotel was perfect, a major freeway nearby but still quiet and peaceful outside. The hotel was centrally located to many wonderful sites.
Location, room layout, cost I find it offensive that this hotel allowed pets (a golden retriever) into the breakfast area. As far as I could tell, this was a pet and not a service dog. I consider this to be an unhygienic practice. Staff should have mentioned it to the guest.

The staff There was supposed to be a pool, but it was getting worked on.
Liked the suite we stayed. Very large and clean! Liked the pool and hot tub. Service was great. Would have liked a better selection for breakfast and better stash of towels in the pool room. Nobody offered to come in and make our beds and leave fresh towels.
Room Layout, size, cleanliness and hotel location. No Bar
Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. Although the room looked clean, it had a musty smell when we first arrived, after the air was on for a bit it went away. Also the walls are thin, we were there during school vacation week and we could hear the teens running and yelling half the night.
Average hotel of this type. Room comfortable. Facilities OK. In-house restaurant food was good in evening Avoid the breakfast
Clean rooms and common areas Restaurant on site Continental breakfast Parking Very uncomfortable mattress Outdated decor They have actual keys with a wooden key chain for your room, which are a pain to carry and the locking mechanisms are tricky to operate
I loved the Colonial Style Wish the bathrooms were a little bigger.
The quaintness of the inn and the food at Old Salt's restaurnat made for an enjoyable stay.
quaint, quiet attractive inn. Very restful and liked that it had a nice restaurant attached.
I loved my stay and that is where I will stay on all my trips to Hampton. I have no complaints.
Location was great and Hotel room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good with great range of fresh fruit and pastries. Bathroom could of been a little bigger
Treated like old friends from the moment we stepped through the door! Bob, the front desk clerk, was AMAZING! So friendly and helpful! The room was small, but beautifully appointed. Even though we went to the restaurant a bit earlier than our reservation time, they never batted an eye! Seated us promptly and the wait staff was terrific! This place is now definitely in our top 5 all time favorites! (The other 4 are out of the country!!) What's not to like, seriously?!?!
This was a lovely country inn! The canopy bed was beautiful as was the whole atmosphere of this inn. The grounds as well as all the hallways and lobby were clean and comfortable. Complimentary lemon ice water, coffee, fresh fruit and newspapers were available at all times as an added touch. The complimentary breakfast by the fireplace each morning added to the entire experience. And the restaurant attached was exceptional as well as quite reasonable.
Restaurant outstanding despite fairly low prices. The hotel is beautiful, warm and cosy. Would go back anytime and recommend to my friends.
The staff is very helpfull and friendly. The room was very nice and pleasant.
Seafood in the attached restaurant
It was different from the "chain" hotels and had a "friendly" atmosphere. I like the elements of the hotel that remained prior to renovation but also the up to date parts as well such as wireless and pleasant rooms. There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel. I hope to stay again.
This is an excellent Hotel. The people are friendly and the upgrade was very much appreciated None
Nice building, big room with very nice furniture, lot of light in the room Restaurant maybe too expensive, few options to have dinner in the bar
location. Excellent bathroom fixtures. dusty smellty wall to wall carpeting.
We were given the Parlor Room (103) which was perfect since we both had work to do on our trip. That they did not offer local draft beer in the Epoc bar.
the bed was very comfortable I specifically went for the pool. However, it was too cold to swim in and the attendant couldn't help. He said it was 81 but it was not. Adults shied away -- it couldn't have been more than 68. I was terribly disappointed.
Spacious, well equipped rooms with friendly staff. European guests may be suprised to be presented with plastic cutlery and polystyrene plates at the breakfast buffet which looks disappointingly cheap but seems common in USA.
The included breakfast was very, very good. Real food in a charming atmosphere w/fine service. My fault in thinking (and not reading) that pet-friendly meant no fee--watch the $25 charge. No ice machine in building--had to go to separate facility and ask. My take away is that this is not an owner-operated hotel--bit impersonal.
The room was beautiful, the staff was outstandingly kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Among the nicest places I have ever stayed. Thank you!
LOVED BREAKFAST, POOL,HOT TUB, AND FITNESS ROOM SCHOOL BUSSES STARTING ALMOST 2 HOURS BEFORE LEAVING, AND THE HOTEL REALLY NEED SOFT CLOSING DOORS. WHEN ADULTS CHAPERONING HIGH SCHOOLERS CONSTENTLY SLAM DOORS SO THE WHOLE FLOOR SHAKES AND WAKES EVERYONE UP AT 6AM. KIDS RUNNING IN HALLWAY WASN'T TOO BAD.
Very comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly. Would stay again.
Stayed in this suite for longer than 30 days and I would stay in this one if I could have it travel everywhere that I need to go. The staff is very helpful and friendly, making it more like home. I enjoy the breakfast and the dinners, they help keep my children from asking for us to go to Burger King. General Manager has put together a great team and the team work shows with every task. A team I would be honored to work with.

Complimentary dinner and drinks Mon-thurs! It was a pleasant suprise after traveling 7hrs with 2 children! Too many teenagers in pool Friday night. Very loud. Not the hotel's fault though.
A great central location to all surrounding cities and highways. The complimentary wifi was a huge plus! Margarita's was right in the parking lot. Our bed was made a bit sloppy, the breakfast was not very good but they did have alternative breakfast options than a hot meal.
The rooms were nice- it was a nice home away from home. We had a king bed, couch and kitchen. There was complimentary breakfast everyday and complimentary dinner from M-Th. The staff was nice and helpful. The shuttle was convenient to take me to work. No.
Moved us out of the room we had ordered to a different one
The room was excellent. Initial staff that greeted us Larry was not friendly or sympathetic that I was upset my credit card had been charged without my knowledge.
The size of the room and amenities were perfect for our family of 4. The free breakfast had a decent variety of options and also changed the selection the next day which was a pleasant surprise. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Free breakfest was great. Nothing
It was a great room with exceptional staff Everything was great!
It is exactly what you would expect from a Hampton Beach motel. Nothing fancy. A little outdated. The location is great. Great price. If you are expecting the Four Seasons, that's your problem.
I like the rooms ,they were very cleaned I enjoyed my room. no ice machine, the view ,wasn't beach front
I liked the fact they had a pool, small though it was; the room was clean enough and it was within walking distance of the beach and the casino ballroom, which is the reason I stayed there. The bunk bed mattresses were uncomfortable. Room was small. We had a full bed and a bunk bed. The bottom rung on the ladder to the top bunk was missing which made it difficult and, in my opinion, dangerous. Air conditioner was so high up I had to stand on the nightstand to turn it on/off which was not only inconvenient but also dangerous. For $200+ for one night it should be better maintained.
Rooms were clean. Front office was very cheesy. Pool not noteworthy.
The location was nice, and it was clean. Apparently the man at the front desk told a bunch of college kids it was ok to party there. Until 4 am none the less. Music cranked jumping on beds drunk screaming girls. I didn't sleep a wink. To make matters worse there wasn't even any staff on at night, so I couldn't even place a complaint
Everything was great. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Place was very clean. Thank you Everything was perfect
Great location, reasonable price and good amount of space. Toilet chose who it would and would not work for.
We chose this Days Inn because of its proximity to UNH. The gentleman that checked us in was extremely friendly. The room, although clean, smelled of past smokers. The hotel definitely could use some updating overall.
It location is in the middle of Dover. There are many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. Thankfully there is a Dunklin Donuts a block away. You'll need it for your breakfast. I have NEVER stayed in a noiser hotel. You can hear the people in the next room and out side speaking in a normal voice. The carpets were stained. There aren't any grips on the bottom of the tub so be very carful you don't slip and fall. But, if you do fall and can't get up, you won't have to yell very loudly for someone to hear you. There are no vending machines. If you would like some thing to drink, you need to visit the office and ask the grumpy man behind the counter. He, made it very obvious that he would have rather had been any place other then work. I am a pet lover and think it is great that you can bring your pet on vacation. However, there were so many barking dogs I couldn't sleep. Well maybe it was really the crying baby a room or 2 away. Or, it could have been the very uncomfortable pillows. Or the cleaning staff talking and laughing outside.
It was a quick stop for a nap as I needed to get back on the road. I was only there five hours
Nothing Everything!! Moved out after first night.
We used this hotel as an overnight stop on a road trip around New England. The hotel was very easy to find, was clean and comfortable. Staff were all pleasant annd polite and helpful. Breakfast room/buffet was very clean, tidy and had a good basic range to choose from. Although not the cheapest of hotels on our trip (we stayed in 7 different locations) we would definately stay again. Thank you to all the staff, could not find fault.
Convenience Yes. Noisy outside at 4 AM. My room was next to the room that the ice machine was in. Noisy!!
The beds were comfortable, bathroom was more than adequate for our needs, and as usual we were grateful for the Continental Breakfast.
Clean , big room, with fold out couch. Could have comffortably handled 10 with sleeping bags. Coffee was where advertised. Very quiet. Worth saving $200 to not be right on beach. Nothing not to like. Didn't promise fancy, delivered clean, straight forward. Hot tub was a ibit noisy, but maybe this is the case for all hot tubs.
The location was good to visit my son. However they do have a difficult driveway and parking lot. Smells! This place has bad smells that they try to cover up with carpet cleaner and other "air fresheners" the combination is like a perfumed hog farm!
The ambiance was excellent. I loved being greeted by Lincoln. Would have been nice to have coffee available earlier then 8:00 am.
The location was what I liked the best, it was less than 2 minutes to the Ocean. Loved it all!
Made to order breakfast was delicious. Cutest little house dog named Lincoln met us at the door and saw us off. Beautiful, comfortable common spaces. Wish we could have stayed longer. The room was a bit hot.
Great location!Walk or drive to the beach easily. Very clean, nice staff! The breakfast was alright, nothing too special- eggs OR pancake/french toast We could hear doors slamming in the hallway here and there, unusually loud The owner wasn't there when we were ready to check out, had to search to someone to ask
Excellent breakfast options, very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay at same facility again!
Very clean, courteous staff, easy check-in, check-out, reasonable breakfast. Price somewhat high compared to other options in area given lack of pool.
Proximity to the beach They didn't replace towels or check the room for the extra day
Although the room didn't appear clean at first it really was quite clean, but the furnishings were worn that gave it a non-clean appearance. The bed was very firm. If I didn't have an air mattress I would have slept in the car.
