Pros: Lovely, friendly, caring service.
Pros: We stayed at the Gali I on 15/22 of September was a lovely hidden gem spotlessly clean beds changed 3 times in 1 week staff were lovely so helpful would stay again without a doubt great location for bars restaurants and beach loved our stay on this island lynda and Bernie Liverpool x
Cons: Everything perfect from start to finish lovely b&b
Pros: Great location, walking distance to beach and restaurants.
Cons: Rooms are not sound proofed. All noise and conversations in the hallway can be heard at all times. Rooms/bathroom/shower very small.
Pros: Cleanest place I have stayed in Greece. Close to everything but tucked awày from traffic and restaurant noise. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Good to have information brochures near reception and some guidelines in the room. Bus stop a stones throw away.
Pros: The staff were exceptional, the hotel is very clean and quiet. In easy reach of the town centre and beach. I would stay here every time.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, properly serviced, friendly staff and small special extras, such as real homemade jam on the breakfast buffet every day. The Hostess, (Ms Fani) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. I would certainly recommend Hotel Galini to friends and I would comeback here myself.
Cons: I kept banging my knee on the end of the second bed in my room!
Pros: I loved this hotel! As an American traveling in Europe I sometimes struggle with the smaller showers and end up getting water all over the bathroom. This shower was a little bigger and I could shave my legs without making the bathroom look like a water bomb exploded. I also appreciated the pull down screen for the balcony door. This meant I could enjoy the cool fresh air at night without being attacked by mosquitos. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Bed was excellent, location could not be better. It is very clean, friendly and quiet. They borrow beach beds and umbrellas. Ok wifi and shower.
Cons: The airconditioning was a bit unreliable.
Pros: The hotel is located near the beach and all cafes and restaurants..great location and very nice staff.
Pros: Clean very clean quiet friendly staff perfect location booking for next year already!!!
Set in Skala Eresou, ILAIRA offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. Fitted with a balcony, the accommodation offers air conditioning and features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Guests at the aparthotel can enjoy a continental or a buffet breakfast.
Pros: Location was excellent, right next to the parking and really close to the sea. The staff was really polite and helpful! Great value for money.
Cons: There is reason why there are no photos of the bathroom....The bathroom of the hotel needs renovation!!!
Pros: Owners were friendly and kind.
Pros: The ONLY thing we liked, was that the location was near the parking lot and close to the sea. The rest was pretty bad.
Cons: The rooms were not clean, the daily maid service was very poor and the breakfast was not included in the price, although it was depicted in the facilities in booking profile. The bathroom was very old and problems with the water had occured regarding the heat. All in all, the price was way too high for the facilities provided.
Pros: Mr. Kostas's attitude had a very positive impact on me. We arrived too late at the hotel (3 a.m.), even though I had informed earlier, but Mr. Kostas had indeed left our keys in the place he said so and we practically did not check-in. In the morning they were very polite and did not show bothered of our delay or the fact that we did not meet them for check-in. What I'm trying to say, is that they trusted everything will be alright and I appreciate this. Everything did went well and we enjoyed our stay during this one night.
Pros: Nice basic room two steps from the beach. I would choose again this hotel when in Eressos again. Friendly owners
Pros: Really perfect location, close to everything. Very clean well-equipped rooms. Friendly staff ^__^ Highly recommend!
Located in Skala Eresou, Blue Star provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Staff at the hotel are always available to provide guidance at the reception.
Pros: Very friendly owners. The room was beautiful and spacious for a couple. The bed was very large (and not two singles put together) and comfortable. Property very close to the beach, bars and restaurants but still very quiet at night
Pros: Yulia was a great host from start to the end. I will stay in the same hotel again.
Pros: Good location friendly staff good room for the money
Pros: We visited the hotel with my family, end of August for our summer holidays. The village is very beautiful and the location of the hotel very convenient. Parking was decent, wi-fi was ok and staff was pleasant. On the positive side, the room was spacious, plenty of hot water for the showers, air-condition fully functional and the kitchen was equipped with some basics.
Cons: Our biggest complain was around cleanliness. The room was a bit dusty, few spider webs in the corners and we found small pieces of broken glass on the floor. When I notified the owner and requested for a hoover, as we had a 2-year-old child walking barefoot. To my surprise, the answer was that the room was cleaned and there was no available hoover. I swept the room myself, cleaned and mapped to secure that the little one will be safe around. Also, payment by card on the check-out took around 15min, longer than expected. Other than that, everything else was nice.

Pros: The staff were so amazing and the rooms and hotel were clean and neat. Great location, close to sea and restaurants
Cons: nothing, everything was perfect
Pros: The staff were lovely! So warm and welcoming, always there to help! The room was immaculate! Beds were super comfy and the view from our balcony was just stunning!! We fell asleep and woke to the sound of the ocean every day!! The view from the bed itself is the ocean, what more could you want?! If you want a place with the best views, peace and quiet, close to everything and wonderful staff - choose Sappho!! We can’t wait to come back next year!
Cons: The only thing I can suggest for improvement is for them to sort the situation out with the cats. Although I LOVE cats, every time I opened the doors they were in the room! I didn’t know if they had fleas but as they were strays I’d guess so... I know it’s nature and can’t always be helped though! The shower was small yes, I had read this in previous reviews BUT the whole bathroom is a wet room and there’s a drain outside of the shower cubicle so didn’t really effect your showering if it spilt out a bit! Maids came every morning and cleaned it immaculately too so really not a problem at all!! I did find from talking to friends staying in other places that we paid quite a lot more than other hotels even with pools! I did feel a little disappointed by that - but all in all a wonderful place and a great holiday!!
Pros: Amazing view
Cons: Heat in the room unbearable
Pros: Amazing location, amazing hotel, clean and beautiful, owner very accommodating, great for families, very friendly staff, felt like home. Treated us like family. See you next year:)
Pros: Friendly staff, great location and very clean hotel
Pros: All the staff were attentive and helpful. Good size room. Beautiful view from my seaside balcony. The cleanliness was amazing
Cons: Not really a dislike....... I would have preferred to have my towels and bedding changed only once on my 7 night stay. The breakfast wasn’t up to much. I only used that facility once.
Pros: Fantastic location on a fabulous beach. Room is on the water and had a fantastic view of the sea. Owner was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything was amazing.
Pros: The only thing that was kund/nice was the vleaning lady
Cons: We had to wait more than 1 hour to check in, the staff did not explain anything about the room (hence we did not know you had to put metal key chain in a specific slot yo have electricity in your room). The staff is noehere to be seen but ghey do party sll night long. If you stay here do not expect to sleep. Room smells of dump. They expect you to put ysed toillet paper in a bin ?!?! ( as opposed to flush it). All in all horrible expirience
Pros: I like everything only breakefast was'n great
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was really not great.
Pros: The sea view
Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Marianna's Rooms is set in Skala Eresou. Rooms come with air conditioning. Mytilene Airport is 58 km away.
Pros: The location is a little way from the beach (about 300 yards?) just off the main road - but the place is very pleasant, with a beautiful garden maintained by Marianna's parents (well, her mother mostly..), who live downstairs, that includes a couple of apricot bushes that you walk under on the way up to the rooms - you can help yourself to the dropped fruit, delicious! There's a supermarket 200 or so yards away (maybe less, I'm not good at estimating/sprinting..). The young cleaning lady - although she only speaks a few words of English (more than I speak Greek..) was very pleasant and attentive - she brought in an plug-in mosquito-killer-thing when she noticed I'd bought spray. I met Marianna after I managed to lose my key (another resourceful resident later got it back from the shop where I'd left it) - which she dealt with without fuss, immediately replacing it. My room had a nice balcony with table and chairs - in theory shared with another room, but there was no one in it. There is a kettle with tea, coffee, cups, etc. There's a washing line (things dried very quickly when I was there.) There's an air-conditioning unit and a fridge.
Cons: The mosquitoes were a nuisance for the first couple of nights, but the counter-measures must have been effective. It wasn't possible to hook the shower head up, you had to hold it in one hand.
Pros: Room was small but cosy and had everything for one person.
Pros: The rooms were clean and quite comfortable to stay for a weekend. Not very big though. There was a common balcony for all the rooms. The staff was very friendly. The place was excellent. 2 mins walk from the beach.
Cons: Very good
Pros: It did not give a good times for us. And there is just and nice old woman who lives downstairs, she was kind
Cons: The manager of room did not interest with anything. Last day they make us out before living time. There was not positive welcome and interest.they met us all the time down in the dumps. Their only focuse is taking money. Room was small and airless.never cleaned but also writing daily clean.before booking there is writing a breakfast but they send us for the hotel and wanted extra money for breakfast. Positive owner and manager is important but they looked all the time nervous. Skala eresos is the best area but we leaved regretful.
Pros: Lovely family who run these exceptional rooms. Beautiful view and a stunning garden. I definitely recommend staying here.
Pros: Friendly staff. Very good price. Very clean. A handy little clothesline outside my window.
Cons: No screens on the windows. Beds were not very comfortable.
Pros: a great value for money - a great option if you are not interested in super facilities, but just want to spend the night in Eressos.
Pros: Facilities were cleaned every day and kept very tidy. Lovely to have fresh bed linen and towels.
Cons: Misleading booking information: breakfasts at Sappho Hotel are not included. Details left broken - coat hooks and shower bracket. Please fix these! Only a communal kettle provided. Cooking rings or a microwave would be a great addition.
