Esslingen am Neckar Hotels

Esslingen is an attractive town close to Stuttgart and therefore suitable for people who do not want to stay in a large city. Easy train access into Stuttgart. There is a restaurant on the premises. I thought the cost of my room was high considering that the hotel is is a moderately sized town which is not a tourist draw..

Quiet setting, comfortable and adequate in terms of service Isolated from shopping area, station and Altstadt if arriving by train. Need to walk through quiet and dark streets to get there. Breakfast assortment not generous.

Resturant in same building (not part of the hotel) was very good. The room was split levelled with a narrow spindle stair leading to upper part wich could not be used. The Aircondition was a stand alone unit which took up too much space and was not properly fitted.

had very high expectation from it before we arrived due to its history & the introduction from the guide book. unfortunately it turned out that we only liked the location of it. the management. stayed there for two days. toilet paper was almost out in the first day, but no additional was added. we had to ask for it by ourselves the next morning after running out of it. The heater didn't really work in the first day, either, even though it was fixed the next day after we notified the front desk during the night. The guy taking care of the problem at 4:00am after we were awoke by the cold temperature didn't seem to feel sorry about the situation. maybe we were being too polite during that time? obviously something wrong with the management of this hotel.

Central location. The Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin had lost my booking/reservation. It took me 30 minutes to check-in. When checking-out reservation was lost again. Amazing for a 5-star hotel: no room service from 10pm to 6am.

Location is very good near the main station Price very high, they asked for more money to get a twin bed room instead of Double.

Location near the train station is very convenient The wifi is a ridiculous joke -- very slow, drops constantly, and when I asked the front desk attendant for a room with good service, she put me in the room furthest from the server. I had to stand in the hallway to reconnect, repeatedly.

Nice room design. Good reception team There is no place to held a meeting with guests in the lobby. For a hotel of that class the lobby is poor. There a special stage in the lobby reserved for VIP customers. This is not good.

spa area cost of water!! I do also think that the rates are very expensive

Good central location. Very helpful friendly Staff. Garage parking available. Good breakfast. Not easy to find by car!

The breakfast No have restaurante, is not true, they offer a snack bar. The location is not easy to move on, the room the decoration is poor, does not have a good TV. does not offer beauty shop like shower cuff, etc, the towels the low quality, etc. etc.

quite good, I didn't put too much pressure on the hotel. I was much more interested in Stuttgart as a city. Anyway, the hotel is clean, staff is helpful, only the distance to the centre is too far, about 12km, but there is a tram really close

Buffet breakfasts good. Parking convenient. Quiet for sleeping. .
