Pros: Close to Blue Ridge Parkway! Themed rooms were a nice touch! Was nice that it wasn’t a typical chain hotel.
Cons: Only 1 restaurant open Monday and Tuesday...authentic Mexican...fortunately we loved it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and pleasant. It was in easy walking distance of the main intersection in town. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient. The cleaning staff were good.
Cons: The breakfast room staff were not so friendly. We needed almond milk and they brought it out, but didn't want to leave it out. The eggs were not good at all. When we left a map on the table, they threw it out immediately.

Pros: Professional, helpful staff Breakfast Stylish interior, not just another chain hotel Spacious room
Cons: I know it’s common in North America, but the window ACs are noisy, blowing ice cold air right into your bed, and without regular cleaning, it can get smelly. The carpet needs replacement.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Very outdated; clearly needs updating, maintenance, cleaning. Poor parking situation. Had to carry luggage down old wooden stairs, no close access to parking. Check-in is inconvenient-in a house next to motel. Just not nice.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Reception desk/person. felt like I was interfering with a senior residential facility
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Situation was good, near pub across road and Italian restaurant, both walking distance. The building was interesting and had a mountain hostel feel. Nice large room was clean and comfortable. Didn't need to use the air conditioning. Coffee making facilities in room, small table and chairs both inside and outside. Nearby to Floyd centre, but not quite safe walking distance due to the busy narrow road. We very much enjoyed the Blue Grass Evening at the Floyd country store on Friday night, well worth a visit and very cheap to eat in. We won a hat for coming the furthest away! The brew pub across the road does entertainment and provides a limited menu. It is based on a London pub so is a bit different to the normal bars/cafes in the US, made us feel at home.
Cons: It was described as a kitchinette, but was only a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, which you find in most hotels in America. To us a kitchinette would include a small cooking hob and washing-up sink. There did seem to be a lot of noise, possibly from someone's air-conditioning unit above us, it ceased the next day when the guests left. Other than that there wasn't anything else we could fault.
7.0 Good
Pros: For the money spent, the place was excellent. Room was very clean.
Cons: Exterior entrance to the rooms, which I did have some people knocking on window at 3am. Probably just some kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, people were friendly, everything was fine.
Cons: The turn off from Route 8 is tight and the weather was lousy.
