They were off their game ...
I love the location and the fact it's an older "Florida" hotel
Making up the room was very late in the day. Carpet appeared to be stained and also in need of repairs. Surely a manager could be looking at each room on a weekly basis for items like this. Regular housekeeping staff are too rushed to even report items like that, although they should be able to mark it on a sheet somewhere. I also had A/C issues because of placement of furniture in the room. Once a chair was moved, the room cooled to a more comfortable temperature. There also seemed to be a lack of regular electrical outlets available. I realize it's an older hotel but that's something most travelers need.
I had a roof over head.
There were ants in my room. The gym was under construction but they never informed me. The front desk staff were less than courteous and were fighting when I arrived. The mattresses felt cheap. It was not a 300 per night experience.
Clean hotel, close to lots of restraunts in bars. We will be back we enjoyed our stay.
Hair in our food we had order d room service. It we let the hotel know and they refunded us our dinner so they had great customer service.
What a great hotel
Loved that it is right on Las Olas Blvd and that right around the corner is the river walk.
Staff were very nice I just felt they just didn't go out of their way. I really didn't like having to pay for parking.
I would go back to the Riverside. But, I would only stay on the EAST side of the building and inspect the room carefully before accepting. Our room was in need of paint and repair. A charge for everything including parking. I still never figured out why there was no access to the mini bar in the room. In a hotel like this, I was expecting MORE.
