Opt for a Room with a Balcony
Guests highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony facing the interior courtyard to enjoy natural light and a peaceful view away from the freeway.
Consider the On-Site Restaurant
The on-site restaurant provides a convenient dining option, particularly after a long day of travel, and eliminates the need to drive elsewhere for dinner.
Be Mindful of Noise Levels
Some guests noted that the walls are thin, and noise from other guests and the highway can be audible, so light sleepers may want to take this into consideration.
Check Laundry Facilities
If planning to use the on-site laundry, be aware that it operates on a coin-operated system, so it's advisable to bring sufficient quarters for this purpose.
Verify Room Amenities
Prior to booking, ensure that the room includes desired amenities such as a microwave and a coffee machine, as some guests found these lacking in their accommodations.
Explore Nearby Attractions
The hotel's proximity to various attractions like Downing Planetarium and Fashion Fair Mall makes it convenient for guests to explore the area and enjoy local entertainment and shopping.
Clarify Breakfast Options
While the breakfast options are appealing to many guests, it's important to note that breakfast may not be complimentary, so it's advisable to confirm this detail at the time of booking.
Address Accessibility Needs
If requiring increased accessibility, it's recommended to communicate specific requirements with the hotel staff in advance to ensure a comfortable stay.
Consider Alternative Transportation
Given the difficulty some guests experienced in locating the hotel, it may be helpful to use additional landmarks or GPS assistance to navigate to the property.
Communicate Special Requests
For guests with specific room preferences or needs, such as a room facing away from the highway, it's beneficial to communicate these requests to the hotel in advance to enhance the overall experience.
