Clean 2 bedroom (one was a loft with doors that closed) condo, 2 full bath, full kitchen, living room, dining area, washer/dryer (didn't use it, but looked brand new), 2 outdoor heated pools, 1 indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, great location next to Storyland, really everything we needed for the same price of a one bedroom suite at the Marriott in North Conway.
Great fun family place to stay, lots to do on the premises! Dishes in the kitchen were dirty, otherwise great place!!
Everything was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We went the weekend after labor day and had the whole resort to ouselves, it was heaven. Everything was great really, but there were some advertised features that were out of order i.e the sauna and the steam room. If it was just one I would have let it go, but both was a disapointment.
Our ac did not work. It was hot!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we discovered the gas fireplace wasn't working when we checked in. They moved our room immediately and we're very helpful with getting situated. The room we were moved to wasn't quite as nice as the original room but we are realistic we understand things happen.
the mountain view
We were in a penthouse with a king size bed (a little on the soft side for me , great for the wife) . Nice gas fireplace. Bathroom was huge with a good sized shower and a nice jacuzzi. And the view was awesome My only complaint was the jacuzzi had not been cleaned properly. We did make a complaint to to the front desk
Location was great. Close to Mt. Washington Auto rd. Property is old. Blinds were broken off from the patio door
Location and views Needs major updating!
Great location. Super nice people. Clean. The 4 guys out in the hall way sitting on the floor having a beer laughing till 1AM. The baby in the room that woke up at 3AM and cried till 5AM. The walls are so thin is was almost like they were in my bath room. I won't stay at this place again.
Lots of families with kids Expensive
Close to great shopping and the hotel was very clean. Free breakfast not available
Very friendly and helpful staff at hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. lovely outdoor pool and spa and good access to shops. clean and spacious. Great place. Nothing
Convenience for shopping. We found the rooms were getting wore out
Great central Location Rooms are a bit small for a family of five
Location and access to restaurant and shops Great view from room window was ruined by loading dock/dumpster trash collection area.
Situation was ideal for local countryside sightseeing, with Kancamangus highway one way, and the White Mountains the other. For those who need it, retail therapy is on site also with a decent factory outlet. Bargain for the price I paid
I liked being so close to these mountains and all the hiking trails.
Great location. Side door dumps you right out into Settlers Green shopping outlets. Family friendly. Outside of hotel impressive. Inside seems a bit dated but clean.
it was family friendly
The inn was conveniently located along our route from the Maine coast to Flume Gorge, New Hampshire. The property had a lovely grass area to walk down to a pond in back of the inn While the room was adequately clean, the odor of the cleaning materials used was very overpowering when we entered the room. The bed was absolutely horrible--hard, squeaky, and very uncomfortable. The pillows were very flat and basically useless.
Close to where needed to be. Like the restaurant that is next to it. They did not have my reservation because no one checked the email on Christmas.
Overall experience was very nice. Even with late arrival I had no issues. Light outside of room was bright and door cover was not heavy enough to prevent the light from coming in.
Fox Ridge offered lots of activities for families, from movies to campfires, mini golf, two pools. The kids enjoyed themselves. The breakfast buffet was free and delicious!
The Hotel was good value for money. Excellant Breakfast with lovely views. ur room was on the second floor - The steps are high and not comfortable, and we are young people!
Cleanliness, close to shopping, attractions, restaurants, bars and lakes/mountains. Full breakfast buffet included. Miniature golf, outdoor and indoor pool included. Nothing, everything was great!
Location, surroundings The room wasn't cleaned the next day
Location and facility is great. Beautiful older resort with beautiful grounds and surroundings, Miniature golf available. Personnel were friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast was good with a variety of hot food and cold juices. Overall a very nice experience. Could have had a better variety of smaller pillows for the bed. Most were pretty large and a bit hard. Probably could have got some different ones if we had asked. It wasn't a big enough issue to make the effort.
Loved the convenience of being so close to everything. The free breakfast is the best we've seen in quite a while. The people next to us were obnoxious and loud. Their kids were playing hockey in the hallways and running up and down the stairs in their suite, which completely shook our room.
The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. The room was perfect for us and the grounds are beatiful. Never once felt that closed in feeling that you can get at hotels.Feeling of being in the country but only minutes from shopping, dining and fun. Okay, I am working to find one but would say the television could be updated
This place was great. Very family friendly, great location . Beautiful grounds. Rooms were a bit old fashion but the resort made up for that. Breakfast included each morning with games to play on the resort.
I liked that the staff was willing to cater to my family's needs, and though there was a small mix up in the water park they still had plenty to do at the hotel itself, mini golf, swimming hot tub and other things to do around the resort with plenty of shopping available at good prices The wifi was slow and sometimes couldn't connect need to update to better a better internet provider or boost up the internet.
Grounds and views are gorgeous. Breakfast is included in the price, and there are always things happening for the kids (roasting marshmallows, movies, ceramics, etc.). There are indoor and outdoor pools, a swingset, miniature golf and a game room. For the price, you can't beat it! The rooms are a bit run down and out dated. The grout in our shower clearly needed redoing.
The view was excellent & timing was perfect as it appeared to not be too crowded. The hot tub & pool were wonderful as well as the hospitality from the staff members. Beds were spacious but not very comfortable- would be a problem if we stayed more than two nights.
- Breakfast free, yay and choices for everyone. - wifi free (albeit a little slow during peek hours) - friendliness of entire staff and willingness to accommodate - Lots of great activities for kids and young families - Being right in North Conway allows you to get to literally anywhere without too much of a hike. - Needed a last minute cot, and was easily accommodated. - Great options for pools! - Third party check in was more confusing on what had been paid and what had not been paid. And rate had gone down since we booked. - Furniture and building dated. - TV in room very, very small - Electrical challenged trying to charge multiple devices, not many outlets in rooms. - Additional hooks suggested for hanging up towels and clothing. There was a free wall that could have had two towel racks for added space. A family of 4 would make great use of it.
Room was clean and cute, we have been here before and loved it Someone is the near by room was definitely smoking weed because our room smelled like pot all night and also in the morning, not the most pleasurable experience, not really the inns fault but I'd assume they do a walk around the place. You could smell it from afar
It was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was efficient and kept the room nice and cool. The offering of coffee and juice was a nice thought but it was poorly executed.
The whole place is so nice.... each room has its own area to relax.... Never stayed at an Inn before, and so glad we did at this one... The A/C didn't cool down the room as much as we like and a queen bed just doesn't cut it... both no big deal... the place so was no nice we didn't care....
The inn had a very homey, yet super clean feel to it. The Woodstove, hardwood floors and decor gave it a beautifully rustic vibe. I mentioned my sweeties allergies and the staff made sure we were in an appropriate room.
We had a lovely stay at the Inn. We had booked a smaller room which was perfect for us. It is in the "downtown" area of North Conway just a short drive from Settler's Green and walkable to all the local stores. Bed was comfy and the staff were very nice. We would definitely stay there again
Quiet and lovely
Great location, big rooms, local feel
I made a same-day reservation through KAYAK. On my arrival, I was greeted and promptly assured that my reservation and payment were both on the books. I walked the short 1/2 block to the main street, and was able to explore the shopping area and found a delightful surprise in Zeb's General Store. Located just off the main road isn't a concern to noise levels - I was on a ground floor room on the side of the building toward the main street and my room was perfectly quiet! A perfect location in the heart of town - and LOADS to do within walking distance.
great location, especially loved the fireplace and jetted tub after a long hike! another guest smoking weed, stunk up the place for a few hours twice during our stay...
Size of room, location, staff was very nice Dated room, no flat screen tv, old furniture that was there when I started going to the green granite 20 years ago.
We stayed here before with a bus tour group and liked the atmosphere and general area where it is located. The pool and hot tub are clean and usually have lots of towels. The morning breakfast is second to none...except for the eggs that have cheese squeezed in with no plain eggs to be had...a mere trifle. Our room was cool and we couldn't figure out how to get the heater to work.
the pillows are not excellent... They are so thin. Also the blanket are not enough warm for month novembre.
close to shops and restaurants, easy driving distance to most restaurants in North Conway. Staff very attentive. General decor of the hotel and breakfast room was very tired.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awful.
The Hotel is a little ways away from the main street tourist area, but close enough to visit without being disturbed by it. They took care to make sure the golf and rock climbers did not interfere with the guests. They are very helpful and courteous and friendly. Very beautiful setting, and not a cookie cutter establishment. Single brew coffee maker was a nice touch, but coffee supply was not re-filled for second day, and cups and glasses were not replaced with clean ones.
The staff at this hotel is incredible. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy and comfortable. They setup activities for children on the weekends leading up to Christmas and the water park is wonderful for kids of all ages. This year our room was located just outside of the water park, this added to the noise level. The staff could have controlled the older children in the young children area of the water park better.
Location Not having a restaurant/lounge for the adults.
I liked the casual ambience of the hotel generally, although I thought the Reception staff were a little too 'casual', but then I'm English and am used to hotel staff in a uniform etc.! In particular I liked the area where it was possible to get hot and cold drinks etc at anytime of the day, and where breakfast was served, giving my daughter and me a place to meet up with the friends we were travelling with. The room was very comfortable, and gave us everything we needed. I want one of those pillows! For an overnight stay I thought it gave excellent value for money.
The water park and the staff
Staff was very helpful. Room was not cleaned on one day. very busy day
A little firm bed would be nice. While on bed, Bedsheet cover comes out from all corner.
Very clean, large room, brerakfast included, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was a chaos - like a feeding frenzy and very noisy - more a reflection on the other guests than the hotel.
Loft was spacious Hot Tub was new and clean Pricing was great No Hallway noises Could be heard at all Very comfortable beds and Hot Water 2 Flatscreen TVs in the Loft Room Would have like 1 more bed in the Loft Room (as it is supposed to sleep 4, but the max is more comfortably 3 people. Hotel WiFi was never working properly. Breakfast was very weak - practically nothing, and it was cleaned up so fast in the morning it really doesn't even count as breakfast. No 24 hour desk service - Front Desk closed around 10PM.
Almost evereything The beds everytime out of us moved its sound
Very well maintained for an older property, clean and comfortable
Great breakfast with homemade muffins, connected campus old-style buildings with rustic accents. Friendly staff, plenty of parking right next to the river and beautiful views of the white mountains.
I loved the hominess of the place No dislikes
The hotel unreachable by any GPS/Never lost system !!! Wrong address in web site. Old equipment and facility.
Breakfast was excellent Beds were lacking in space. Bathroom just ok. Pillows were bad.
Breakfast, room comfort and good housekeeping
Great location for winter skiing and summer family fun at the adventure parks. Hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Wifi did not work properly and staff was not able to help.
We've been going to Merrill Farm for about 20 years now. Its always like coming home. Same atmosphere , same smell...just fabulous.
Staff was friendly and helpful, helped with room selection and restaurant suggestions. Parking was somewhat limited.
I loved the warm homemade muffins in the morning. The antique furniture is quaint. I also loved the cookies in the afternoon idea. The gas fireplace going off and on throughtout the night was somewhat disturbing.
staff, shower, warm room comfortable bed
I was pleasantly surprised by the updated bathroom, cleanliness, overall comfort, and very friendly staff. Good coffee in the lobby in the morning, quiet room in the building out back. Closely located to shops and restaurants.
We spent one night at the hotel but the location is great for the ski season. None.
Clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, good breakfast. All we needed was a place to sleep for under a hundred bucks - this fit the bill No real problems, a bit dated
We had a great time in Swiss Chalets, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with a balcony view of the mountains. Breakfast was good, pool and hot tube a great relaxation for soar massless after kayaking and hiking. If you like an experience nice and unique places to stay hilly recommended. A little out dated but not to bead some new window treatments, the game room/gym could use a little spruce up like some nice big pictures of the mountains to bring a out doors in.
A comfortable place to stay away from the crowded Conways with wonderful views of the mountains. Convenient and welcoming.
The room was relatively spacious and came with decent beds and a kitchenette. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was also right next to the (extremely loud) heating system which stayed on throughout the night; I always sleep with earplugs and the vibrating walls and the low frequencies were still bothersome. The breakfast was sub-par (even though I did like the do-it-yourself waffles, the orange 'juice' was horrible) and the overall standard presented did not justify the price.
Needs renovating. Towels & bedlinen need renovating too.
The Inn was just great, very klean. The position is excellent for most excursions in the White Mountains. Where our room was one could hear a little noise from the main street, but nothing unbearable. Beautiful scenary. A step away from North Conway by car
