Adjacent to a golf course, The Inn at Furnace Creek is a great choice for a stay in Death Valley. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in deep-tissue massages, body scrubs, or aromatherapy. There's an outdoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this historic hotel offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: The Ranch layout and facilities were excellent, except for two items;
Cons: Patrons should be warned ;
- not to wear flip-flops when going hiking, AND
- cars should not be parked within range of the lawn sprinklers, since
the water contains minerals that stain paint AND are not easily removed from windshields, even with scrubbing !!
Pros: Location provided a great center for touring Death Valley over a 2 day time period.
Cons: Roach in the tub. Torn up furniture. Motel 6 like accommodations, Ritz Carlton prices.
Pros: great location, easy to access Death Valley from.
Cons: Heat water is scarce, room heating also is not efficient. Not the most clean room I have been.
Pros: Death Valley is beautiful. The Ranch fits in well the old west theme
Cons: The facility is a little old, but very clean and well maintained.
Pros: Rooms were clean. Restaurants were close by convenient to location. Room prices reasonable.
Cons: Restaurants especially restrooms were not clean.
