Mattress very uncomfortable very small pillows bartender at pool SUCKED no snacks or food at upper pool toilet ran if didnt play with handle forgot a item in room called to go back and get item was not found by housekeeping and it was a large body pillow alot of noise above us in other room after midnight like children running jumping alot of construction on property check out 10 am too early in my opinion for price we paid will not EVER GO BACK !!!!!!
Property is well maintained and the staff are very courteous. Plenty of onsite activities every day to keep you busy. Minutes away from Gaylinburg and Pidgeon Forge
Air conditioner broke two times spilling water on the floor, and they never brought us toilet paper after two days of calling.
Everything was not as expected, it was an awful ex
Not what was shown
The scenery near the resort
The rooms, the prices. For a resort, you would assume that at least WIFI was inclusive in the room charge. Nope, it was not. They also try to get you to think that you won something at checking. It was thein 4 hr "come see why it's so good to be an owner" routine. That was the only time any kind of complimentary breakfast was mentioned!
The staff and accommodations were excellent.
I think for the cost to stay there, the water park and other amenities should be included.
No TV ...had to wait 20 mins for shuttle to come when they had 50 golf carts with 6 seats in them pass you by no parking there should be at least 1 parking space per room or villa for 500 for 2 nights water park should be included not an extra 82 dollars next time we will stay at Wilderness of the Smokies
One of the best places I've ever stayed at.
Staff was courteous and friendly, the room had every thing you could possibly need I couldn't believe it was a studio room.
That I couldn't stay longer.
Lot off amenities not working
Rooms were nice and clean.
Main attraction at the waterpark was closed. The playground was also closed. We have two young children and we wanted to stay here because of the amenities but because they were closed we had to search out other things to do.
Pro and Con
The room and view were great.
Website was not clear about extra charge for pets. It states pets are welcome and there was an additional charge but no amount listed. I was expecting an extra $20 charge or so and was completely SHOCKED when at check in they told me it would be $170!!! I would not have booked the room had I known this especially since the rate for the room itself was only $109! Completely ridiculous charge.
Parking sucked. They will try to have you tour for discounted attractions-- seemed like a good idea but there 90 minute tour with a free breakfast turned out to be over 5 hours of salesmen in your face trying to sell you a timeshare. They waisted one whole day for our weekend vacation. I would much rather pay for the attraction then lose time with them trying to sell me a timeshare for that amount of time. Not upfront or honest. And the great breakfast you get for touring was terrible.
great place to stay
the staff was very responsive and went out of their way to help
I really wish the water park would have been included in the room price.
the location, amenities
Clean and friendly staff.
The indoor pool that is advertised was an additional 18.95 per person, this was disheartening as this is why we chose this hotel. Also, the rooms are very small.
The stay was very nice, except I didn’t get the rate I was told over the phone, when I arrived I had to pay the 99.50 a night rate instead of the 74.50 rate I was quoted over the phone, wthen when I checked in I was offered the stay 2 nights get a night free special, the host at the desk said I could let him know if I can stay the third night the next day when I confirmed my scheduled, but when I did tell him I wanted to stay the extra night, he said I had to pay for the 3rd night(in which I did, another 99.50). We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and are contemplating buying a unit and becoming an owner, but I am leery due to the confusion about the amount I was quoted versus the amount I had to pay as a guest. Do you have any suggestions??
Can you find our why I was quoted one rate, charged a differnet and higher rate, then offered the free 3rd night special and given a day to decide, then when I make the decision to accept the 3rd night free special, I get charged for it??
Very nice apartment style room. Close access to water park. Check in staff very friendly and full of information.
Billing was completely incorrect starting from day one. Hotel was unable to provide a receipt or explanation of billing accomplished by previous staff members due to server/printer issue. Two hours after our check-out, while we were upstairs eating breakfast, a staff member finally brought a receipt, but it was still and inaccurate reflection of what we were actually billed. The hotel staff did offer to snail-mail a receipt after the server was repaired, which was estimated to be within two-three days.
Beautiful mountain view from the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Bathroom was amazing, shower had 2 shower heads. Fireplace with the flat screen tv above it. Beautiful place with a beautiful view.
Everything was just wonderful.
location of the resort to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
The employee/staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only thing that we were not pleased with was there was no maid service as we were unaware they were owned units.
Really nice resort and good service! We just had not enough time to enjoy this visit as much as possible, kids would have really liked to stay!
During the weekends the traffic in Pidgeon Forge is terrible so you should have enough time to spent here- week could be suitable. The area is very good for famielies with young children!
