The cousy atmosphare and the "swedish" enviroment Perhaps I do miss a TV on the room
The entrance with the warm fire was very welcoming after a day out in the cold, windy countryside. It was a lovely experience having a glass of wine in front of the fire late at night with the rain pouring outside. The SPA seems alot better than it actually is. The extraprice for the jaccuzzi was a surprise for us, as well as the fact that there was no massage available throughout our stay. I'd say this is a hotel with two saunas, not a SPA-hotel.
The Badehotel is a very pleasant hotel. This applies to the location and the ground floor: well decorated reception, good design of the restaurant, fine breakfast and good food. If you arrive in the rooms it looks as if the hotel has not yet finished the renovation: no decoration in the rooms, no tv, only one chair at the balcony, small bathroom, hardly any place for toilettteries. We were really wandering how is it possible that one hotel as two so different sides.
Hotel is filled with nice antique looking furniture This hotel adds a 4% transaction fee to your bill when you pay with Visa. This is not mentioned on Booking.com. Hotel personel is not friendly. The hotel restaurant is rather expensive, offers little choice and the portions served are small. I recommend to have your dinner elsewhere. The bathroom lights are on a motion detector, you end up in the dark while showering or on the toilet. Room was hot, and the mosquito net was broken.
