sea view, orange and lemon trees in the garden, little comfort in the rooms, heating sistem not working during the night and disapointing breakfast (but still not the worst we had)
The landscape is beautiful, nice sea view very cold rooms ...heating system was working...15min a day. Room was dirty and things inside not in a goog shape.
The Sicilian Dinner evening was very enjoyable and extremely good value. Signs are not easily visible in the dark.
Location, furnishings and service None
Plus: nice view, the dinner experience (no questions asked: 9 antipasti served + primo + secondo + dolce + limocello + wine + water, great value!). Minus: no air conditioning in hotel room, lots of mosquitoes...
lots of place pitty swimming pool was not well maintained
location room equipment an furniture
The panoramic views, the quietness of the place and the readiness of the staff to help. The cleaning of the rooms on alternate days
It's a great location, very nice owner and staff, the best food, nice rooms
kinndness and location
The staff at the hotel were really very friendly and extremely helpful We were not expecting the restaurant to be closed for the majority of our stay. Having said that there was no lack of restaurants nearby.
Great for an outdoors location, it feels like youre in the mountains although only a few km from center of small town. Liked it. Nothing
Very helpful owners, beautiful setting in a very quite valley, good food at the restaurant and exceptionally clean. At the price, this place is very hard to fault.
Excellent rest! Very nice place! Comfortable and calm, modern design and very friendly staff! All was excellent.
The owners were very friendly, the location was fantastic as were the facilities. Nothing to complain!
Brand new hotel opened just 29 May 2009.Perfect quaity linen and comfortable king size bed makes sleeping very convinient.Room size OK,but not 30-35 sq.M. As it was stated at Booking.com . all rooms are sea wiew as the hotel located on the top of the mountain. No reason to pay extra for "sea view".Safe box and wire Internet are free of charge. No minibar in the room. Some buildings are still under construction.Breakfast is poor . Coffee and tea are very low quality. The restaurant staff not speaking English at all...No spoon available at breakfast time and I was forced to eat corm flakes by tea spoon. The location not convinient as the hotel not at the beach , but at the top of mountain , so hired car is more than requested .The shuttle bus (8 persons capacityonly ) running not regular and not enough for such size of the hotel. No bed linen was changed within 7 days of staying what is more than strange for 4 stars hotel.
very nice and comfortable room, the staff at the pool bar was great (especially Beata). If you want to disconnect from reality, than you definitely choose this hotel without a car, you are dead..Very "up"on the hill, but verz nice view
i liked everyyhing only brekfast was poor ,becouse was out of season only us and other two rooms was ocupied, anyway nice hotel and view, staff exelent
Very nice design, comfortable beds, great sea views! Food pricey.
Very frendly staff. Good breakfast. Very nice view. I have not negative thinks about this hotel. Notes:It is new hotel without adress and if you have plan to come to this hotel by car then you need additional map (the map indicated in booking.com is wrong)
Everything new, amazing panorama, free internet, nice swimming pool(i did not enjoy it because of the weather),good value for money
Very little, the hotel is incomplete and the website deceptive. One receptionist was helpful, in variance with the other staff, but that about sums up the positive aspects. The hotel is shabby, incomplete and surrounded by other unfinished sites. On arrival only one of the 3 advertised restaurants were open and full board was a fixed menu of extremely poor standard. When a vegetarian option was sought for my fiancee, a plate of cheese (no biscuit obviously) was offered. Asked if the chef could do better, we were informed that there was no chef - the main food that was being served to the remainder of the customers was therefore being warmed up by waiters.
Hotel is situated in very quiet village Gioiosa Marea - almost no turists there.
David was very helpful and hospitable. The hotel itself has a wonderful old style living room, big kitchen and terrace. The internet is free. Our room as well as bathroom was very spacious and comfy. It's really a nice place!
we were only staying 3 nights but we had such a lovely time time we stayed another 3 nights. we were made feel very welcome. The beach and train station is only a couple minute walk, but it is still very peaceful for a great nights sleep. we woke up to a great breakfast, and lovely people, recommend for any traveler. we will defiantly be back!!
Great space as a kitchena nd dining area and living room with TV available for all guests. The host, David was very relaxed and helpful. Free internet as long as you want. Great price and ideal location for travelling around NOrthern Sicily. Parking spaces are a chanllenge, but no cost when you can find it.
The hotel was easy to find, the town was pretty and the owners' son David, very helpful.Lovely terrace and free internet.Everything in walking distance including a couple of very good restaurants. We found parking very easily.
This family run hotel was extremely comfortable, there weren't many guests but the staff paid us every attention and we were able to relax. I would reccommend the hotel to others and would like to return in warmer weather. There were a few small points that could be improved in the room eg. provide hairdryer, kettle and larger mirror.
This was a unique opportunity for our group of four to visit a Sicilian hillside winemaking operation. Owner operator is extremely accomodating with her time in showing and explaing to her guests the grape growing and wine making operation. While there are only four rooms, all new and of significant size and with a great view over miles of country side, adding this hotel to your vacation plans will provide you with favourable memories. The hotel offers great food along with their own 6 superb wines. The owner is a knowledgeable and classy lady and as we arrived by train she graciously picked us up and drove us back. nothing we did not like.
Really nice B&B up in the hills, not far from the coast and from the Tyndaris Greek & Roman ruins. The accommodation is in the middle of a vineyard, with fantastic views over the hills and down to a glimpse of the sea. The food is amazing, the wine's great and the staff are wonderful. One tip I'd have - I didn't have a car and it'd probably be handy to have one to get down to the beach and have a look around the area. If you like walking, it's not too hard to get around though, apart from a long walk back up the hill.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Antica Tindari. The family run agriturismo provides a personalised service which is also very professional.Good food, large comfortable rooms and lovely, tranquil surroundings.
A very nice and helpful family lives in a beautiful quiet comfortable farm, with their own wine, vegetables, herbes... It was a wounderful experience for us!!! Thank you!!! no, everything was perfect!!!
The hostess and the food were both excellent. The staff really make you feel at home. The size and location made for a very peacefull stay. Nothing.
Friendly atmosphere, friendly people, excellent food and drink, very nice views from both terrace and restaurant
lovely hotel, nice surroundings, great staff , food excellent.
The setting was fantastic. The host was brilliant - she spoke perfect english and was so passionate about the vineyard and food. She gave us an indepth tour of the vineyard and cellar. We had dinner on the terrace and it was the most amazing four course meal, matched with their great wine. Staying at Antica Tindari was the highlight of our trip to Sicily.
Quite, warm atmosphere, you are treated as a family number, lovely rooms with big balconies, fantastic view, great food! The landlady is a very special person. tricky country road
The ambiance and gracious support by the owners was magnificent! The accommodations as well as the setting was about as beautiful as you could imagine! Tucked into the hills around the city of Patti, there were breathtaking views of the vineyard, olive groves, herb gardens, vegetable gardens and the sea from our large balcony. The cuisine was superb! There is nothing we did not like about Antica Tindari! Everything was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
