It has fantastic view and the rooms are excellent. The breakfast as well was superb The beds are too stiff and they were not so comfortable
Exclusive resort, slightly expensive but good to pamper yourself now & again!
I very much liked being up-graded! beachside bungalow was marvellous. The hotel was very peaceful for such a large establishment, staff very friendly and helpful. I wished I could make tea/coffee in the rooms. I wish the internet connection was better.
Place, views and swiming pool. No.
Quiet location, but not far from Kerkyra city. View is magnificent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Private hotel beach. Calm sea due to secluded bay. Nice pool. Room was 3 stars at the most. Not enough sunbeds at the beach so you have to get up early to reserve the sunbeds. Working hours of bars/restaurants is inconvenient. For example, you can't get a drink at the beach after 5 pm, because after that time, they start calling the bar "a restaurant" where you can only have dinner. The bungallows and villas presumably offer a 5 star luxury, but at a very high price.
Amazing views Breakfast
Friendlines of staff. the fact that we could get B&B only. Food. Small pool with no showers. Snack bar 12-4 only.
The mostly I liked during my stay at the hotel is the location, staff very friendly and responsive, the entertainment organized by the Hotel for their guests. In this regard, it is worth to mention that despite the fact that my vacation were out of the main season, in September, the Hotel was fully booked, which mean that it offers quality of services clients need during their stay at hotels.
The view of Paleokatrista, the swimming pool, quiet hotel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool. The restaurant make not a very good food, international dishes not greek specialities and not a lot of vegetable and fruits. The breakfast is simple, but the yogourt is special , liquid ( added with milk or eater ?)
Room nice size, kept clean and with excellent view and in a good location - as expected. But would recommend that people book room only and pleased we didn't book half board We booked bed and breakfast - but the breakast was truely bad! The fruit juice was watered down, the bread did not taste fresh, the yogurt was watery, the choice was very limited etc. So poor in fact that we only ate breakfast at the hotel once - we elected to go to a local taverna and pay extra to have a really nice breakfast for only 5 euro's each
The views were amazing. The food was hot and could eat as much as you wanted. The beds were very hard and the walls were paper thin... could hear everything from the other rooms.
the buffet breakfast was the poorest i have had anywhere in the world, the hotwater barely worked, the price was very high for what you get. i would never recommend anyone to stay here.
We very much appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. The layout of the hotel was lovely and the pool was nice and clean. The sea side view was spetacular! The breakfasts - after trying the eggs we stuck with only toast and maybe some fruit when we did in fact have breakfast there. The stairs to the pool when wet were dangerous as they were slightly slanted downwards as well. I slipped on them and badly sprained an ankle.
Good location for our purposes, good value for money, friendly helpful staff Breakfasts were a bit predicttable and not particularly good
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Steps. Malfunctioning tv and air conditioning.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. Many steps (with luggage) to get to sea view rooms.
Friendly hotel staff; very near to the beach; good quality of the food; excellent knowledge of English language of the staff;
This is a family-owned hotel, runs by the family, and they are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent, it's right next to the beach. Every hotel room has it's own individual air conditioning unit and a decent-sized fridge - pretty nice. We have been to other Greek islands and stayed in hotels there. The room here is somewhat small by comparison. Having said that, we think the room is adequate and it has bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, etc.
Good location next to a beautiful beach with great view. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast. Typical european style bathroom.
Excellent value. Clean. Oustanding location and view. Superb staff. very firendly.
The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach with shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms had a lovely character about them. I think the bathrooms could be improved - they're a little old. Occasionally a smell would come up from the drain which was unpleasant and you also flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower. We would still go back though.
It was ok!
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable; they bent over backwards to give us assistance should we need it and entertained us very well. The room was large, airy, well-decorated with good facilities. The hotel was charming in aspect and the food was excellent. The location could not be rivalled, situated right next to the beach in what has to be the most beautiful bay we have ever seen.
Staying at the Zefiros hotel was the best choice we could make.Simple but tastefuly decorated - all white and clean. I travel with my sister and my mother and our budget was a little bit tight. The hotel offers really good value for money: The location is perfect as we don't drive. The hotel is located just in front of a nice beach although we prefered a more quiet one just two minutes away. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Corfu town and spend the day in the old town. The hotel is run by a family that owned it for two generations. Iren and Johny are extremely helpful and kind. I do recommend the food at the hotel! And the staff, specially Ashley, is so nice! We will come back.
It was slightly cheaper than the local restaurants. The room was uncomfortable. The pillows were stained. The sheets were not long enough to cover the bed. Stray cats roamed the grounds and outdoor restaurant begging for food. The owner cheated me when I shortened our stay, demanding full payment until the ned of the booking. His partner had already agreed it was ok. Not impressed.
location to the village of Kassiopi was good , the swimming pool was lovely clean and the shape and size also very good. The little poolside bar was sweet too. W"e had no hot water for two days then ok & then the boiler broke down again and no hot water for another day and a half ,at the best it was just luke warm. arrived at 11.30 pm and had e emailed manager to say what was the checking process at that time of night ,he replied that there would be somebody there, but eventually we found a note on the door of reception to tell us which room we had been allocated ,a fellow guest walked us round the various blocks to help us find our room number in the dark., a map would have been helpfull. The owner/manager,s dog was tied up 24/7 in an elevated area behind the swimming pool and would bark and bark and as our room was on the top floor we could see him as well , chained up all the time. not good !!
Air con in the room which was a spacious studio. The pool was lovely and large and a well equipped pool bar. Alot of mosquitos in the room and the shower was hard work. The curtain did not go the whole way round and we managed to soak the floor.
Wonderful staff, big swimming pool, cleanliness, surrounding, the city, where this hotel is, location in Corfu island! Nothing!
Atmphosfere is very relaxing, especialy by the pool and resturant.
The room was very clean and the pool was amazing!!! The staff are very friendly. Moreover, it is just 5 min walking from Kassiopi shops and restaurants and 10 min walking to the beach. I will go again next summer to Philippos hotel :)
It was very clean the staff were very helpful and the pool was a very good size for swimming. I would rate it as 5 star with our experience an would definitely go again.
friendly family run hotel/appartments, close to the center of kassiopi, great service would reccomend to others
I like the place where it was situated, it was sorrounded by hills covered with trees and flowers which make a very quite and fresh air place. The hotel staff accurates the privatcy for each gest. The water in the rooms was salty.
Pool area is nice and staff at the bar friendly. Drinks and food there is cheaper than in the village. The location is near the village center and less than 10m walk from the main beach. We got a room with a dirty bathroom. Luckily we arrived 15m before the reception closed and they gave us a cleaner room. Still the overall room hygiene was not really up to standards. They would clean every other day, but not really throughly. In order to get hot water you had to let the water run for 10m - what a waste. Even then, there was no hot water in the evening.
Excellent swimming pool; kidness of staff Small parking
Location,Staff were friendly and helpful.
Actually two things amazed the most in the hotel: the location, right in front of the gourgeous beach of Palaiokastritsa, and the friendly staff, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant, which is by the way worthwhile to try very often during your stay in Corfu.
We stayed just before the holiday season got going. We found the manager Craig excellent nothing was too much trouble. The accomoddation was basic but comfortable and the location excellent. We had a great break! The beds were rather hard and creaky
I found the location of the hotel and the surroundings excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was pretty helpful.
the view it was dirty
Located centrally in a small bay with beautiful views and restaurants below and to one side. Tours of the surrounding headlands by small boat are highly recommended in this very rewarding few days stays. Not long enough as I thought the place to be a real gem.
Location and views - right on the beach. Very nice staff and lovely restaurant. Also nice restaurants nearby. We were in the annexe. The shower was a bit of a pain to use - just a tray, no curtain or holder for the shower to attach to. The bathroom floor was wet as the water did not drain away easliy. We were only there 2 nights so was ok to cope with.
The location is excellent, the beach is on the other side of the road. Excellent view over the sea from the balcony. Rooms are big enough, clean, equipped with air-conditioning. We had halfboard: the breakfast is OK, however a bit boring to eat the same thing for a week (bit more choice for coldcut, cheese and packed yoghurt instead of yoghurt from a common dish would have been welcome). The dinner was a 3-course menu with 3 choices for each course, small portions, but the three course together enough to feel full. Extremely nice staff in the restaurant. Twice during the week there was a concert/karaoke in the restaurant, which of course was possible to hear in the rooms as well. However, in both cases they ended around midnight.
The owners and at the same time, management of the hotel were very friendly. They tried to help on each and every occasion. The rooms were not luxury or sth. The hotel has basic features but it is clean and tidy. I can say that I found just what I expected. But have to mention that if someone goes there with some sort of an expactation of staying in a luxury one, he / she would be disappointed. It is basic, clean. fair for the price but not luxury. One specific detail should be mentioned I believe. The location and the seashore of the hotel is absolutely the best on Corfu. However, if one does not travel with car or doesnt intend to hire one, the 25 kms distance between the city center and the hotel can create problem.
not very luxory but still very nice hotell, small swimmingpool in the yeard, and very helpfull and nice stuff working in this hotel.breakfast is not very special, but ok.Good location, about 10 min to walk to Gouvia center street.bus stop is just 1 min to walk.we was satisfied.
friendly staff, nice swimmingpool, good place to discover the island (by car), walking distance to center of Gouvia. We had a nice appartment at the backside. For one week is was well enough. bathroom and kitchen needs renovation, kitchen not so clean and well-equipped and bathroom very simple (almost no water out of the tap). Swimingpool was only open untill 19.00 h., too early for us.
The location was ideal for our two night stay in Corfu Town. Bus and taxi service all within easy reach. Staff very pleasant. Our room was at the back of the hotel away from the busy main road which made the stay nice and peaceful. I arrived on my 50th birthday and we received complementary drinks and some nuts from the hotel which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. I did not like the carpetted bedroom floor which were cream and extremely stained and dirty. I had booked a double room but ended up with a room with twin beds which were difficult to push together although it was not worth complaining as we were only there for two nights. The breakfast was rather too basic for our needs. However, it was obvious the hotel is trying to make improvemets - the bathroom, in particular, looked almost new and included a hairdrier and complementary toiletries. The room would have benefitted enormously by including a small kettle.
Not too much...pretty basic. The hotel staff also had no record of my reservation(?? ) but did find me a room...initially they tried to charge me 60 euros even though I had booked the room at 36 euros. However the situation was resolved satisfactorily. It's really a bit too remote. Much further from the airport than I was led to believe and 15euros in a taxi. Breakfast very basic. I think the hotel would be fine at about 25 euros as a backpacker hostel.
It was available and not too expensive. It was isolated, in an unpleasant district and the breakfast was very limited.
Staff helpful and informative Was fine for a brief stopover in corfu but would not recommend for any extended stay as hotel was fairly soulless
Clean. Kind staff. WiFi. Modest service for modest price Far (> 5 km) from everything (airport, beach, mountains, centrum of Kerkyra).
Decent. Good for the price. Far from anything, hardly public transport connection. You need a car/bike.
location was poor
The location We could not use the safety box at the room. The lady at the front desk did not know also.
Is near to sea ! The rooms (not all of them) are dirty and old its !
Staff were very friendly
Staff very Friendly. Hotel very clean. Room cleaned every day. Air-con was excellent. Great location on the beach. Shower was very basic, just a 3-sided curtain with no place to hang the actual shower head on wall, you had to hold it.
The staff was friendly and helpfull, hotel and rooms were clean. Aircon and fridge in the rooms worked ok. OK beach (peebles) across the street. Big TV screen in the bar. Breakfast was continental but not very exciting. Bathroom needed redecoration, but were kept tidy and clean. Pool area need cleaning more often (but was not dirty). During highseason (august?) the area with bars, clubs etc might be very lively during night.
room and bathroom needed redecoration, poor breakfast
It is clean, and everything is working well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel was open 24 hours per day, very convinient. What can one don't like at Corfu???
location on the sea-side the condition of the bathroom, old, not pleasant to use. Poor breakfast.
friendly staff , beach location , good food room a little small
The wonderful location with a view of the bay, beaches and luxurious hotels and villas; the pool and cleanliness of the apartment;closeness of Corfu city, markets, shops; splended nature and architecture The way to the beach is very steep, with many stairs, but going up and down is good for your shape. I need more dishes for cooking.
cosy environment and friendly staff.... amazing views and peaceful
The rooms were really big and nice. Clean and quiet. The pool did not seem the cleanest. Also there were no staff at the hotel, the only staff that we saw was the cleaner. She was very helpful but if we needed someone in an emergency we would have no idea who to contact.
nice view beach is 150 meters, but is Grecotel's beach..so it is a little expansive...or much!
Wiew was beautiful, to sea and over corfu, peacefull Far away an a up hill, no reception when arrived, nobody knows where is it, have to rent a car or walk a lot!
This hotel location had wonderful views and was very peaceful. The local Tavern had great food at very affordable pricing. Single beds instead of a double - the shower was very small, but I am being picky.
Peacfull, great view, dry (not like the rest of the island), great pool Nearest beach is not easy accessible, narrow road to the appartment, very small toilette (than again, maybe I am to big)
nice and very clean hotel, peaceful place.Very nice view, and some very good restaurants around the the hotel. to far away from the happines around there if you dont rent a car, miss internet sometimes on the hotel and a resptionist who understand english littlebit better.
The room was not good. The showers were very bad and I did not stay the time I chose as the advertising was not accurate.
Quiet and peaceful Location hard to find not enough signboard to indicate directions
The view was beautiful from the main building and from the room. The rooms were not nice at all. Horrible beds and really old nasty comforter with sand in the sheets. The restaurant is just a self serve cafeteria with food that reminded me of public school lunch. The room smelled and was ancient with an old crapy tube TV and no DVD or even a VHS player. No chain locks on the doors.. the maid walked in as she kind of knocked at a very inappropriate time. The beach is concrete with old busted up lounges. The bartenders have no idea how to make a drink at all and i mean the ones on the list. The pools were cloudy and dirty. I left for every meal and stayed off the property as much as possible to avoid the hotel during my stay.
good food, good public transportation to town with bus stop righ in front of the hotel, nice landscaping room high on the hill, too much uphill walking from the main building,no fresh towels on sundays
This hotel was a fantastic value for money and we enjoyed the comfortable lounges and the large private beach. Staff members were excellent- helpful and pleasant always. We appreciated the opportunity to relax at the hotel bars some nights rather than seek out expensive pubs or restaurants elsewhere. The rooms were too hot- the airconditioning was too weak and we were sweating in the room all the time. Also, our room was overlooking the entertainment venue, which was playing (really) loud music most nights until 11-12. However, this wasn't a huge deal and I would still recommend this hotel, although perhaps with a room away from the stage.
Wery nice staff , perefct food and drinks / all inclusive /, in fact hotel on the beach / 2 min. walking/, we will recomend this hotel for enjoyable summer vacation
Comfortable rooms, great pool facilities for the kids, and compliments to the chef and staff great food and efficient friendly service.
