Friendly staff members and the fact they upgraded me to th Executıve room at no addıtıonal costs.. The room I stayed ın was somewhat outdated and I felt lıke ıt was more between a 3 and 4 star room. I have stayed ın 5 star and thıs hotel dıdnt gıve me that feelıng.
View of the room, general conditions no
We really enjoyed our stay at the hilton. We were only going to stay one night and ended up staying 6. Mostly in part to the helpful staff and the room comfort along with the convient location.
Pool was not available. Construction started very early. Nothing was mentioned beforehand.
Personalized check in. Rooms spaceous; clean ( in general) decent breakfast spread. Over all stay- excellent
Good (business) location in Embassy area. Internal decor becoming tired.
The complementatry breakfast that we got because the rate that I got from booking. com was too high The internet was not free of chate and each hour was 10tl which you hvae to spend withing and cuntinues hour
hiltonsa hotel was georges and soooo comfort not at all
Everyting was fine, I didn't encounter any problem. Although reading some negative comments on Hotel's design, I didn't find it old or unpleasant
I liked: the location, view from the 12th floor business suite, facilities in the room, hotel staff, relaxed atmosphere. Would prefer a little better quality food choice & presentation in the breakfast and better sound proofing of windows.
Got room update with extra 20 bulks. Room and the view is nice. Very good location, but very few orients in that area in Ankara, no malls or other modern facilities around. Bed is not comfortable, bad sleep...and breakfast could be with more variety.
Location Employees which do not really speak English.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I stayed in a Business Class room which was excellent - particularly liked the expresso machine! All you would expect of a good chain hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Good choice of Turkish foods for breakfast. I also appreciated the free internet access. No - everything was fine.
Good location for city sightseeing, the only international chain's hotel close to the old part of the city. One step from metro station that gives an easy access to shopping and entertainments areas. Very nice view from upper floor business class room. Very poor breakfasts for Radisson.
The location was ideal - close enough to the city centre however not too noisey around the area at night time.
The hotel is within three minutes walk from the Museum of Anatolian Civilisation, has a splendid breakfast room and, conveniently, a subterranean garage. And: there are smoking rooms available. None of the staff speak any language but Turkish.
close to stores not enough english speaking staff
Staff is so kind.
The clean room, the Internett access, the good breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff. The location also turned out to be good for my purposes. The room was a little bit too dark. I would have liked a reading lamp.
Since Ankara is a fairly new city, I like the fact that this hotel is in the heart of the historic district and is near the Citadel and Anatolian Museum. It is also near to restaurants and shopping, although we didn't need that. The rooms were fine, the shower could use a curtain or door to keep the rest of the room from getting wet when showering, but it wasn't a big problem.
nothing much just an ordinary hotel yes there was no lunch or dinner
Good location of the hotel before transfer to Ankara ( ESB) Airport.
It is in the vecinity of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and in the centre of the town. There were no hot water and heater during 24 hours.
nice old hotel - very clean - good breakfast - good shower somewhat small room
the politeness of the staff and their rediness to assist me i face the difficulties it is very difficult to communicate with people who do not speak english well
the rooms are big, clean, well decorated. like the massage service at the spa at the check out th receptionest wasnt helpfull as we had a flight to catch and she kept us waiting too long,,,we informed her many times,,,she wasnt arranged that much,,,she answers all the phone call while serving us???
the confort of the room it was too hot in the room and we were unable to change the temperature
Convenient No boiler and no coffee machine in the room. When I asked for one, they charge me a fortune just to have a water boiler for the... Usually in a band like sheraton, it's already included in the room....
I was on a business trip. Relaxation was great I could concentrate on my work and finalize nicely. None
very nice hotel one of the best for business and oleasure, highly recomended
service, cleanness, kind personal, location I would like to have a coffee or tee atmachien at the room like in most of the hotels in Japan & America and in Swiss hotels
Nice view, good location The rooms were not very clean, old fashioned.
I really like the brakfast and also verity of items Bathtub spa lamp and more were not working or available
Design, Comfort, Breakfast Bad Wi-Fi, Bathroom in room, Small
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great design. Staff level of English quite poor though, although they did try very hard to help us. would stay there again.
The design of this hotel is fantastic, fun, and hip. The rooms and common spaces are equally attractive, with comfortable beds and baths to enjoy privately and a bar and event room to enjoy publicly. I hope this hotel picks up more business as it was practically empty the evening of our stay. It's a great find. Find the hotel proved to be the challenge, since we were using a GPS that probably hadn't been updated. Not until the morning did we realize that we could have approached the hotel from another area of the highway and probably been there an hour before we actually arrived the night before! This area is being developed and was picked up by my Iphone4 gps, rather than the one we rented from the car company.
This hotel is fantastic and the staff were excellent, very polite and courtious. Although its not exactly central, but by taxi It tooks 5 minutes.I took my wife there for her 40th Birthday and during the day we walked to 365 Mall (highly recommend) which was no more than a 10 minuete walk from the hotel, Before booking this Hotel, I read lots of comments about the location, decor and prices. The location is fine, the decor is lovely (essential lobby). Great Hotel and Great memories - highly recommmend
Design Car parking area
Its closeness to the city center Breakfast should definetly be improved.
Decent facilities, but the front desk staff just wasn't up standard.
Nice decorations Bathroom shower was liking
Health club, breakfast hotel rooms are on the small side. The mattress was not high standard, or at least not at par with anything else
Excellent staff Mold in bathroom; soft bed
Beautiful decoration, good quality and good price There was some mold in the bathroom and the floors in the bathroom were not very clean.
The staff and their hospitality. The rooms; furniture was nice and comfortable, bed was very comfortable, there were books and DVDs in the room as well as a dvd player, very uncommon in a hotel. Very central location. Bathtub too small. Towels low quality but useable still.
It was a wonderful Hotel. They gave us free upgrade to deluxe room. Everything was wonderful (Breakfast, staff etc...) If you want to visit Ankara we suggest you this hotel strongly. It is very centrally positioned. I will suggest this hotel to all my friends who plan to go to Ankara. Nothing
Closeness to the business and diplomatic districts, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good value for money compared to other hotels in the same area.
very good new hotel.worth the pay. modern interiors.clean environment.very helpful staff.good breakfast.very close to city.opposite to shopping street and a nice park.hotel upto five star standard. swimming pool is missing.
quiet, perfect bathroom rather tasteless breakfast + wifi trouble
Wireless internet access was wonderfull, confort of rooms bed and bathroom. CLosing to main streets of city, while silent place for resting. Poor restaurant which never you can see anybody using it. Although they have a good restaurant Saloon, and even an attractive tables in front of hotel , but nobody use it and I don't know why?
Very happy. Good hotel in a good location. Rooms spacious and modern I would use the hotel again for my next visit to Ankara
Charming and safe, everything was prefect.
Excellent location for eating out.
Very nice room with modern decoration. It was large enough.
The Angora Hotel is a fantastic place in many respects. It is located in the heart of the old town, very close to the castle and the Museum of Anatolian Civilazations. Walking distance to the district of Ulus where the Roman remains are located. One can also walk to the busy district of KiIizilay. The house is absolutely beautiful in itself and meticulously done up and kept. The owner makes the experience of staying in the hotel unforgettable: sociable, kind and helpful. I had a fantastic time in the hotel. Highly recommended.
The room was beautiful and the location wonderful -- just a short walk away from archaeological museum and old citadel. We loved eating breakfast in the hotel courtyard. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we would have changed was that the room had two double beds instead of a queen. But this is a minor quibble.
Our host, Levent, was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent each morning: handmade omlette, cheese, tomatos, olives, salami, cucumbers, bread, coffee. The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious, in the old Ottoman style. The WiFi reception was excellent. Excellent venue for seeing the Anatolyan Museum, which is a "must see." We had the only bath tub in the 6 rooms because we were upgraded to the Triple. However, the water pressure was awful. Also, our room was right on the main alley up to the Ankara Castle ramparts. The school children hiked by our room in the mornings. And at night, it was worse, when the locals played and carried on their conversations at full blast until almost midnight! Sound proofing definitely leaves much to be desired! The hotel is located in the old section of Ankara, so it is a fair hike into town down a very steep, cobblestoned hill.
Nothing was too difficult for Manager, Mr. Levent Ustabas and his staff. He not only made my stay comfortable but also suggested activities that made my visit to Ankara most rewarding. Both in design service and management you could not ask for better.
The staff was welcoming and friendly. They allowed us to leave our luggage when we arrived in the moring after an overnight train trip and gave us tea. The decor and furnishings were tasteful and the hotel was very clean. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Checkout was efficient.
Hotel has excellent location. It is tastefully decorated and well maintained. Owner was immensely helpful.
I enjoy staying at this hotel. It was very confortable, and luxury. The staff didn't speak english except some of them and missing maps in english
Swimming pool, and the jacuzzi was closed.
new and fantastic rooms with some great styled features......bath in the room! great for romantic couple.
the location is very good, at the bisness center of Ankara. The room is not large but very comfortable, the breakfast is very good. I liked swiming pool and SPA. only 2 elevators
The location is good, the rooms are very comfortable They have some problems with the shower - the water pours into the room sometimes. The breakfast is good, but waiters are not.
Friendly hotel staff. Good location. Modern & comfortable rooms. The decoration of the ballroom and the entrance was a little exagerated. Too orriental for my taste. I liked the bedroom.
