8.2 Excellent
Pros: It's an amazing location, probably my favorite place to ski. The bars and food are good and the historic building is a work of art.
Cons: The interior walls are very thin so you hear a lot. It's worth knowing going in so you're not surprised.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Historic and scenic. Wonderful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location at the base of Mount Hood. Hotel was so interesting and unique. Pool and hot tub was great and clean
6.8 Good
Pros: Fantastic building and location. Tour was excellent.
Cons: Staff seems uninspired. Capable but not energetic. Outside of building needs paint and repair! Mountain is very inspirational.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Views of mount hood are amazing. The hotel decor was exactly how we imagined a proper alpine lodge. Snow storm the next morning added to the experience. The blue ox bar downstairs was really fun and nice to see original murals and craftsmanship across the hotel.
Cons: The main restaurant (cascade lounge) had a confusing menu. When we booked we were shown one menu but when we arrived it was completely different. They had got rid of their vegetarian options so we were forced to eat in the rams head bar upstairs instead. We still had a great evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, food at bar was top notch!!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance, the mountain, trails, great food
Cons: Rooms were abit noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: THE BATHROOM IN THE ROOM WAS VERY TINY, AND THE TOILET WAS TODDLER SIZED.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the cozy little room we stayed in. Great view of the Hood summit in the morning!
Cons: Room heat couldn't be turned off so we had to open a window. Bed was a little uncomfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: They state that there is a device in your room to discourage insects and forest creatures from entering your room - I would hate to see it without this device, as the amount (and size) of flying insects in my room kept me awake most of the night
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Love this grand historic property.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is magnificent. Being on Mt Hood and easily accessible to trails and lifts was wonderful as was the star gazing. We had very good meals and found the bar atmosphere good.
Cons: I booked 2 rooms. We arrived before check in and asked if there were any rooms available. They had one. Later closer to the regular check in time the second was available. The first room was very small and the bathroom was uncomfortable for my tall husband. The second room was very spacious. If we had been told that we would get 2 rooms of the second ones size, we would have waited for regular check in. We paid the same price for both rooms, the disparity in the accommodations was astounding.

Pros: Great breakfast, facilities, and location. Would totally stay there again!
Cons: Need more washing machines and dryers.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location near Government Camp and Mt Hood and the restaurant next door
Cons: The guests! Very very noisy and inconsiderate and rude at breakfast. Man sat sweating after his run on our table and others were coming to eat clearly not having washed and straight out of bed. Would have been a really nice hotel if not for the majority of the guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Property is dated, but the staff was lovely!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My room above the laundry room. I hear machine noisy or some other room’s air conditioning running sound. Otherwise anything is good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Accessibility is simple. Breakfast is very good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and curious staff.
Cons: You blocked our TV from FOX national news which really rubbed me the wrong way. That was not right and for that reason I would not return unless you allow freedom of speech on all news stations. I contacted the front desk and inquired about fox news and they redirected me to local news. That was not right. We are all entitled to freedom of speech. Lets keep our political views out of it.
7.5 Good
Pros: The desk staff member Mitchell was knowledgable and very helpful.
Cons: Better insulation from truck noise on highway
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near Mt Hood. Very nice lobby, free breakfast. Nice to have a hot tub.
Cons: Hotel was overall very good, lobby was very clean and nice, the rooms need updating, carpet and overall feel of the rooms is a bit dated, but still a good stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This town is for skiers and this hotel can accommodate skiers. A restaurant brewery is next door.
