The hotel was pretty clean and had a fireworks show next door for the 4th of July. The staff was very unfriendly and refused to accept requests in advance for room accommodations. A member of the staff also prohibited us from putting ice in our cooler from the ice machine because "it wouldn't be able to keep up if everyone did that". They told us to go across to City Market if we wanted ice. Even Super 8 allows you to fill your cooler with ice before leaving, and we paid double to stay at this hotel than we would have there. The restaurant on site was very poor as well. We had mediocre service from who looked to be the owner/manager, and terrible food that made us sick. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
Staff very unfriendly and uncaring, specifically front desk staff.
Good value for the price. Good for families with kids. They don't serve breakfast, but you can go across the street and stock up on food. Thin walls. Was loud.
Hot tubs and pool area were very nice as well as athletic club Unable to check in until 6:30 because rooms were not cleaned and room smelled of smoke
Great location The shower in our room did not work
The hot tub/pool area was nice The building in general seems to be falling apart, and our room was very outdated, small and generally icky.
The room was a good size. The hotel was clean. The lady that checked us in was hard to understand. We had problems entering our room. They had to disassemble the entry lock and replace the batteries. After that it worked great!
Shower temp was awesome and steady. Parking directly outside room was a plus. Easy access from hwy. The little kitchenette was nice and clean as was the spacious bathroom. The room heater didnt work very well. Main office guy didnt have very good english or people skills. Beds were hard, not good for bad backs. Price to high for decent hotel.
