Price is competitive. Breakfast is normal, do not to try under peak season.
Everything but location
Due to the fact that I only booked the hotel to catch a flight the next day in the early morinng, I liked the fact that I was in the heart of Guarulhos, but only 15 car minutes away from the airport.
Helpful staff and quick service. cleanliness, comfortable bed, ample size room emergency light came on during blackout and could not be turned off.
The hotel is 4 stars hotel for 3 stars price. I book through Kayak to get a great deal. Free shuttle bus from and to airport for 10 minutes drive is a plus for business stop over. The staffs are very friendly the facility is great . The draw back is the towels looks clean but very old. The restaurant is not open for lunch and dinner, it is very inconvenient for business traveller like me.
The hotel staff did not have the reservation, but they manager to give me the same rate. The hotel never answer a email that I send them directly 4 days preivous to my arrival
Cleanliness is at high standard, breakfast is really excellent and you can relax in the sauna and jacuzzi provided. When I asked the kitchen to bring two glasses and two set of plates they charged for that, what I think should be a free service for this type of hotel. One morning, in the breakfast room, they didn't have plates for anybody, and we waited quite a few minutes until a waiter came with them.
Airport transfer & price
the efficacity and kindness of all the staff/ service to and from airport is very good and convenient the air conditionning being too cold in the room and making too much noise. There should be a switch on/off rather than having to turn off the electricity altogether/ I was not told I should sign in for the morning shuttle to go to the airport and there was no space. The hotel had to call a private taxi for me and another 2 travellers in the same situation
The staff was really nice and helpful. You are not informed on where and when the hotel is going to pick you up at the airport. It can be annoying after 14h of flight to wait not knowing if you are at the right place, waiting outside the airport as you don t want to miss, eventually, the next shuttle to the hotel.
Most the hotel staff and the location. There is no talls available at the pool area.
The waking up service was not working- You have to fix it
Since I stay only one night I really can't say much. We walked around the hotel before we left and we sat in the lobby and just enjoyed the quietness I can't say that I didn't like anything.
Good shuttle service to the airport. Room was very dirty.
We were very pleased with the location, staff and accommodations at the Bristol Dolby. We were in Sao Paulo on business and the free shuttle service and location close to the airport led us to book here. I would recommend this hotel highly to an international traveler. We had plans with a local business contact who drove one and a half hours to meet us. He spend several hours in the lobby before we arrived. When we arrived, no one at the front desk told us he had been asking for us. Had they alerted us, we could have contacted him and made arrangements. As it was, he drove back to his home location and our meeting did not take place. When you are traveling from the US to Brazil, you cannot arrange another meeting.
Great airport-hotel transportation, very frecuent and on-time Hotel looks a bit old
I landed rather late so it was nice to spend a night somewhere between the airport and the city. The room was not clean. They should get some carpet cleaners and painters in there.
The breakfast! I gained about 2 kilos... The bed was not "premium grade", low shower pressure is the default in Brazil.
Good location near to many restaurants and shopping center very small bathroom, with shower only (no bath). Internet not included in the price. Unpleasant lobby bar
In total, the hotel and the staff are OK, The hotel i would rate 7 from 10 and the staff 8.5 from 10. Negativ i found followings: 1. because i came 5 hours earlier from the airport, the hotel charged me 50% from an entire daily rate. 2. Exchange rates of the hotel are 25-30% lower than any exchange office. 3. To use you electonic devices you need an adaptor which cost at the reception 24 Reals. The same device you get in the shop nearby for 4.99. The hotel taxi (black) charged us 45 Reals for the same distance where we payd 24-25 Reals with normal Taxis. This things make no honor for the hotel management.
Comfortable bed. Area around the hotel is nice with good restaurants and shopping. Spacious room. I would liken it to an older, but still in good condition, Hilton.

The hotel is value for money. Well located just opposite side Ibirapuera mall. The rooms are roomy and clean. Breakfast is farily good with lots of options. The restaurant is not big enough to accomodated the guests during the peak hour of the breakfast.
I did stayed at this hotel before the name changed to Bourbon. Now, is nothing to be liked in my opinion. At this price? This is my last time. Thank you.
convenience to my needs, just a layover for the weekend that allowed me to work. No complaints, however, 2 items: 1) I know that people have complained about the planes. They didn't bother me. 2) This questionnaire is more than 4 questions
this hotel seems to be only interested in Business clients and not the regular holiday-maker. we thought the service was very poor. would not be staying again at this hotel.
The shower was not so good. But it was a minor thing.
close to airport not sure if it deserves 4 star rating, probably 3 star more appropriate
The check-in and check-out was very bad due to a lack of attention by the staff of this hotel.
Been able to get a free transfer to and from the airport. When booking on the web I sent a message to book the Transfer from the airport to the Hotel but I received no correspondance from the Hotel to advise where to meet etc. The bathroom was also very small and no room to move.
close to airport
Free pick up from Guarulhos airport
I found the staff to be very helpful. I chose the hotel because of the location, price, and airport shuttle. The room (106) in which I stayed needs new carpet. Sound travels through the walls very easily. I suggest offering fresh juices at breakfast.
Staff were exceptionally kind. It was quiet and very chilled out and relaxing.....THANKS
Clean and friendly staff no
Quiet and comfortable. The free bus transfer to the airport was very good.
I enjoyed the food. The dining area was very good. Staff service was also prompt in all areas
The quality of the restaurant was very good with a friendly staff. There were no activities in or outside the hotel. It is however very suitable for a night in between flights.
Friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to assist with issues other than hotel business, ie doing printing for us, delivering room service tray etc. There is a trend to make Internet access (WiFi) available at no charge to users. Panamby only charges a token amount, but one still needs to go through the process of passwords etc. This is not really a complaint, just an observation. We will stay here again...
Very close to GRU airport. Free shuttle ran frequently; about every 20 minutes. Great fitness center and pool area. Wonderful Business Center.
I travel for business. This hotel is convenient to the airport and has a shuttle service. Makes it easy if traveling in from the US. Staff is very helpful. Only downside is you have to travel via taxi everywhere in Sao Paulo. Really nothing around.
Room was very clean, comfortable, & large. Room service was very quick. The hotel is about 20 minutes from GRU. Free airport shuttle from hotel to airport was great. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. If you need an extra late checkout they allow you to book 1.5 nights. There is a Walmart nearby that we took a taxi to if you need to pick up anything. There's also a really great park called Bosque Maia (I think) where we brought our toddler to play and she loved it. There are also some really good restaurants near the park. Hotel is perfect for an airport stay over but I wouldn't stay there longer than a couple of nights. The restaurant is expensive and the food isn't that good (other than the breakfast). You need to contact the hotel to make arrangements for the shuttle from airport to hotel. When I did this they told me to call them as soon as we landed, but I didn't have a phone that worked in Brazil so that was impossible. We took a taxi instead that cost R$60. The taxi driver told us that when you do use the hotel's shuttle to get you at the airport they take forever to arrive. The hotel's location isn't near anything touristy really but it's right near the airport. The location isn't very walkable so we ended up taking taxis everywhere.
One person at the front-desk spoke English and was really helpful. Hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport. Short-staffed when people check-in (when the free shuttle brings people from the airport it is a mad dash to get in the line, but then everyone just crowds around and check-in becomes quite disorderly!) It would help to have more bilingual staff at the front desk.
Room and services
Internet for free
Food was exelent. I had dinner only. Check in! Took me almost 3 hours just to chack in! Chack out takes around 25 minutes.Stuff speaks portoges only, and this hotel is next to international airport.
Very good service & food
the hotel was nice and clean; breakfast was very good We had to wait 20 minutes because the room was'nt ready. Additionaly even thought we booked a duble room with twin beds, they gave us a queen size bed
It is convenient and economic for the travellers that only transit in Sao Paulo. It is jus a lilltel far from Guarulhos downtown and Sao Paulo city. Not too much choice for the diet in the hotel .
The transfer bus from the airport was quick and convenient, reception efficient and spoke good English, the room spacious, comfortable and very clean, with a modernised, immaculate bathroom. The hotel is at the end of the runway, but we never heard a plane all night. And it was very good value for money, amongst the cheapest hotels we could find. Everything was fine, just what we wanted.
close to airport We were not given a double bed at first even after specifically requesting one. Also, the wi-fi did not work in the rooms which was annoying.
Only one of three computers was working, some programs were not installed /e.g. Acrobat Flash Player, ICQ/ and the staff was not able to install them.
Nobody knows where it is, took us an hour to find it, there is no signage anywhere in the airport we could find. It is after customs so we had to check in our luggage...and toiletries, clothing, etc., before going itno the hotel, most inconvenient. Would not stay there again. The staff really did not care about all the troubles and what was suppossed to be worry free ended up being a big mess. Would not recommed this to anyone.
staff is very nice and helpfull staff at reception speak several languages
Good price and excellent breakfast. Location was appropriate in Sao Paulo. Internet connectivity. Airport shuttle from the airport was not available between 1730 and 1900 hours
Clean room - good value for money hotel in Guarulhos. Also good breakfast and terminal bus service. Not the best of areas but convenient for Guarulhos airport
Good location I didn´t like the service of the manager
accès from airport
All the Hotel staff are very friendly and polite - they speak limited English except young men who speak well on reception - room service doesnt speak English so dont expect what you order... Hotel in OK location but one one way system and a litle hard to find - free valet parking - overall had a nice week here. Carpets in room badly need cleaning or renewing - hotel is undergoing renovations - a third elevator is being put in but work seems very slow. Buffet Breakfast is very boring and not very good
The hotel shuttle is very practical
Free internet in the room but pay 3 reals for the cable. with shuttle bus to GRU. fit for those only overnight in Sao Paulo.
The breakfast, included in the price, was absolutely delicious and with much to choose. No, nothing.
Location, room and Staff! internet connection should improve. Also a Business would be a Plus!
Best possible location two blocks from Paulista and the MASP metro stop. You need to be near a Metro in SP because taxis could get caught in traffic jams. Everything about his property is first rate--a true 4 star. Also, a spectacular breakfast space. There is nothing to dislike. It's the best possible place to stay in SP--and the price is right!
The location was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful the gym was small and poorly equipped; the glass door in the bathroom was dirty; the food was just OK (but the coffee and juice was excellent)
Great service, mostly English-compatible (note that in Brazil, that's actually a bit rare), nice quiet gym with gorgeous balcony overlooking city, good sized and well-appointed room, clean and friendly overall. Weak food service (made up for by the fact that some of the best food in Sao Paulo is right there), tiny TV.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay -- answered questions from food in the area, sites to visit, safety of the city, how early to arrive at the airport, anything you can think of! None
Good location for the purpose of my business trip
Internet was free.. Breakfast was good No iron.. No microwave, no coffee machine
Clean, fare, good breakfast with fresh fruits. Being a flat it has separated bedroom and living room and a I missed an air conditioned in the living room an a microwave oven. Really weird eggs int the breakfast.
Well located, good pool Loud construction that began in the building in the morning, very very small bathroom (barely enough space for one person), tiny beds, virtually no amenities in the bathroom, Poorly lit hallways
Staff was helpful regarding information about the city, as far as they understood. I was promised an extension of my stay for the same price. Next day the reception refused it. I checked out, and I shall not return. Most of the reception staff cannot understand basic English, nor Spanish, nor 'Portanhol'. They are therefore not suitable for a 4-star hotel in Brazil's key business city.
Very adecuated location
The Itaim Bibi neighborhood is safe and lively. Plenty of good restaurants to eat and drink at. The hotel staff was absolutely appalling, though. I was shocked at how rude someone who voluntarily works in the service industry could be, especially when it seemed due to the fact that I was speaking English. Hello, you are a clerk at an international hotel, in an international city! What do they expect? One woman, though, came from the back and kindly assisted me. She gets 5 stars. The rest of them, rude, unprofessional, and singlehandedly assured that I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever again. This hotel is disgusting. Giant, black stains all over my carpet. Not clean at all. The pictures aim to trick you! No air conditioning, the room was stuffy and hot. I had to leave the balcony open at all times, just to breathe. With warm weather outside, it meant I was never fully comfortable. The people at the front desk made me feel like I was a problem because they didn't speak English. So rude, acted like they didn't want to help customers. I don't require tons of attention and service, just courteous behavior as anyone would expect. Not available here. No hotel information in room. No idea how to get laundry done, use internet, hotel services directory. Nothing. This place is a complete joke. Breakfast was disgusting, too.
prompt service It was promissed in the reservation to have hobebath and the hotel do not suply it.
hotel was well located in the center, clean rooms good breakfast but we had an issue about the airport transfer. they indicate that they have airport transfer but then they charge you 100brl for the transfer. they charge for airport transfer even if its not indicated on the hotel details.
location, free parking, friendly staff. I thought the price was too much. I[ve stayed at much better hotels for the same price
The breakfast was good, the live music and bar were very nice, the staff was very attentive. Check in time of 2:00 PM is very late. Check out time of 12:00 PM is very early. Wireless internet access should be free like most hotels in the US.
Great location, nice staff and good price Small rooms and not cleaned thoroughly; beds not very comfortable, shower not consistent, and thin walls
