Cons: Public road to location is poor. Prepare to wash vehicle post trip.

Pros: John and Julie were excellent hosts in their woodland home
Cons: The gravel road and some of the properties along it were a little daunting initially - but the journey is well worth it!

Pros: Honestly I am surprised this is only a 2.5 star hotel. It was like brand new
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really friendly and so were the maids. Room were very clean, and we both liked the walk in shower.
Cons: Toilet seat didn't really fit the toilet right and it was very flimsy.. Had a pop vending machine on the second floor but no snacks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in fast and easy. Very courteous and gave us suggestions for meals. Great cookies too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfy, coffee was good, the room looked awesome, and the shower was way more modern than a lot of hotels I've stayed at.
Cons: My only suggestion would be a fan/better ventilation in the bathroom and some thinner pillows mixed in with the super thick ones.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The staff at the front desk were very unfriendly and seemed angry when they were asked for assistance with renting an additional room. She was more concerned with policy than trying to help the customer. Very rude and unprofessional. The breakfast was not stocked up well and the staff was very hateful when asked for assistance.

Pros: The B&B is located directly in the center of the downtown area. There are many wonderful shops, restaurants, and a large number of interesting things to do within walking distance. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Would definitely recommend this location for a fun getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The top factor for us was location - right across the street from the Mark Twain Museum and in an old historic bank building! The room itself was comfortably furnished, the bathroom was large and super clean with a spa tub, and the continental breakfast, while simple, included homemade coffee cake. A good coffee shop with excellent warm quiche is around the corner and great brick oven pizza is across the street!
Cons: We found everything to our satisfaction and we travel frequently.

Pros: Neat room, right down town walking distance to lots of fun places

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the breakfast and snacks, our hosts, the facilities, the very comfortable room
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Was down town. Could get to chocolate festival.
Cons: To close to bars. All the noise from them was distributing. Didn't know it was on 3rd floor. Winding stairs only to use . Not good for injured backs. Or knees
7.0 Good
Pros: The bathroom was very nice remodeled and clean.
Cons: The windows in the room were very dusty above 6 feet, accumulation of months. There was an almond on the floor by the chair, which showed me the cleaning was not so good in the room.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was always great as well as the lady that set it up and managed it. She went over and above.
Cons: The 1st floor rooms smelled terrible. I have been home several days and my purse and luggage still smell. The staff shared that when they did laundry sewer gas was coming in those rooms. We had to be moved several times to finally be out on the 3rd floor where the smell was gone. The toilet seat was very loose and about to come off. The door latch was not aligned making it very difficult to close. Key cards had to be replaced daily as they only work one day at a time. The smell, above all, was the worst part of the experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and the location was fine.
Cons: When we looked out our window all we could see was another building and in between was weeds, some 6 foot tall or taller.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Our bathroom door didn't shut.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The beds were very comfortable!
Cons: We checked in 07/12/2019 around 5pm. The front desk lady was not friendly, the breakfast host did not clean any of the tables and talked to other co-workers and guests. I had to clean off our own table. There was garbage on top of the garbage. After breakfast we left to sigh see and saw the breakfast host outside smoking vs. cleaning the breakfast room and making sure forks, butter, etc. were filled. We had adjoining rooms on the 2nd floor. One of the bedrooms TV did not work. The gentleman that "assisted" us had no idea what to do. After he looked for an alternative TV, he said they didn't have one and didn't offer us any other accommodations. When I asked for a refund for our burden, that's when the staff offered us another adjoining room on the 3rd floor, to which we moved to. We felt like we were a burden and you did not want us staying with your hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place has everything you need for a comfortable clean nights stay and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: The location was not tops but ok for the awesome price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: GFood breakfast. Good sized rooms. Good climate control.
Cons: The room wasn't cleaned, just a towel replaced. Beds not made, trash not emptied and coffee packs not re-stocked. There were no restaurants within a mile. My friend woke up with 10-12 bug bites.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. We were surprised in the room that the fridge had a separate freezer that easily refrooze our ice packs. An additional surprise was a spa tube in the pool area. We also appreciated no pets.
Cons: No issues
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Back of bathroom door unclean. Bed comfort so-so.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was easy to find and the breakfast was good
Cons: It was nice. No complaints here
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Were given two rooms that were both dirty. One still had unmade slept in beds. The other had empty pizza boxes inside. Both rooms very smoked in, so smelled terrible although supposedly this is a smoke-free hotel. The checkin guy was first "Taylor" on his badge. The second time we saw him (same person), his badge name was "David".
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice and took care of any requests quickly and friendly. Convenient entrances and exits. It was quiet in the room we stayed in.
Motel 6 Hannibal, MO - Hannibal - Building
9
7.7 Good (649 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Motel 6 Hannibal is located off Route 61. Hannibal, Missouri is home to Mark Twain and the unsinkable Molly Brown. Less than 2 miles away are museums, shopping and dining. Free Wi-Fi, and a restuarant on site.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: I got put in the room that I was in several weeks ago when I stayed there. I can tell because the AC unit was still messed up the TV still didn’t work and they still put me upstairs when I said I cannot physically handle going up and down the stairs
5.7 Okay
Pros: There is a restaurant in front, the price was cheap. Hotel staff was accommodating: when I asked if I could leave my motorcycle under the carport they agreed.
Cons: Whole place smelled a bit smoky. Was a bit dirty around the edges.
5.5 Okay
Pros: had I booked with the hotel itself I would have saved $45.00 instead of using booking.com
Cons: Paying double for a room than if I would have just booked with the hotel itself
5.0 Okay
Pros: That we got a room. Check in was quick.
Cons: The toilet wouldn't flush. There was no restroom in pool area, nor the advertised hot tub. Hair dryer didnt work. Fridge froze our soda. Sheets had stains.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well maintained and cleaned. Nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed at.
Cons: Bed was fairly comfortable but the fiber-fill pillows had been washed and dried. They were terrible and really hurt both of our necks. Took a couple of days sleeping on good pillows to fix them.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Not american owned.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Marijuana smells coming from the room vaping in the pool air conditioners not proper
7.5 Good
Pros: It was quiet
Cons: Bed was not comfy
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and accomidating, room seemed to be clean.
Cons: Wife and I recently stayed at this motel 6, took a swim in the early evening of Saturday 7/20/19. The pool was being refilled at the time with a garden hose with no signs of caution that chlorine levels were low. Fast forward to Monday 7/22/19 my wife and I develop a bacterial skin infection which per our physician is from swimming in the public pool with low chlorine levels (did not stay at any other hotels nor do any other swimming before or after visiting the motel 6). Wife and I are very itchy and unhappy about the lack of maintenance and quarantine of pool facility while water is being refilled and thus diluting the chlorine level of said pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the affordability, the location and the staff was so nice and helpful
Cons: I liked everything except they were out of alot of soda at the vending machine
8.5 Excellent
Pros: This location is right off the main road and has a large and friendly diner-style restaurant close by. I liked the newly-revamped lobby with its high ceiling and tall windows. Gave the place a kind of resort feel; apparently they also have a heated pool. The room was clean and comfortable; there were plenty of towels and plenty of hot water, plus a small fridge and a hairdryer. I was up early and the coffee was ready at 6AM so I was able to take a cup with me -- wonderful on a really cold morning.
Cons: Minor irk: light pollution... appliance lights (tiny TV red LED, tiny other-gadget green LED, large light in base of hairdryer, clock-radio face) actually make a lot of light once you turn off the normal room lights. But, this is par for most hotels.
6.8 Good
Pros: Beds were good. It was at full capacity, but "quiet". Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I am usually very careful to get a non-smoking room, but I made the mistake of checking smoking. I'm not sure if the site was not as clear in that area, or if I was the problem! We worked with it, but it was rather unpleasant for that reason. Tiles on bathroom floor were loose and broken. Window was broken, and piece of cardboard covered part of window. Air conditioner was noisy and woke us a couple of times.

6.8 Good
Pros: Price
Cons: Everything smelled like smoke. Especially the lobby. Poor breakfast. Room was non smoking but still had that odor that it had been smoked in.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to. Basic breakfast available. Quiet.
Cons: Couldn't get on WiFi.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of this property was in a good location. The value was great.
Cons: The biscuits for the biscuits and Gravy were frozen. The door lock to our room would not open properly had to mess with the handle while sliding the card to get the door open. Bottled water to purchase was outside in a vending machine that only took change and one was empty of water.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The price was great! We just needed somewhere to sleep only. Also had a breakfast which was a bonus.
Cons: It was an older hotel, but still ok.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Matrix products.
Cons: They must have summer workers living there or rent rooms long term. Whenever we went outside there were 5 to 6 people on the upper floor spitting chew over the rail. We had a hard time to getting our door open as you can tell it had been jimmied at one point, the smoke dector was ripped off the ceiling. The toilet wouldnt stop running, the exhaust fan wouldnt work either. The beds were uncomfortable and there was a discarded newspaper in the garbage in the bathroom. Dont dream of sleeping because it must be located close to EMS or Fire because that is all we heard all night.
6.8 Good
Cons: Everything was good except the house keeper walked into my room and woke me up before I was ready to get up made me loose 2 hours of much needed rest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfiest bed and pillows! And we're pivky...

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Pool was not indoor
4.3 Okay
Cons: The receptionist was rude at check in. They entered our room by key and we hadn’t checked out yet. The floor felt very dirty on barefeet. The parking was a nightmare. Small lot and no turn around space. They let a tour bus take up alot of spaces.
7.5 Good
Pros: Didn't avail ourselves of the "continental breakfast" - too many other attractive options. Room was clean, smelled good. Beds comfortable and warm shower. What's not to love?!?
Cons: It wasn't super-convenient to local attractions, but it wasn't inconvenient, either... but driving rather than walking distance. Seemed to be limited parking. On the first night we were close to the entrance, but on the second night there was a big truck blocking 4 parking spaces (and ignoring the clearly posted sign - NO TRUCKS).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Rooms a lil musty
7.5 Good
Cons: Dirty carpets
6.0 Good
Pros: The location and price.
Cons: There were several annoying flies in the room.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room was clean but carpet was patched in several areas.
Cons: The room was listed as accessible but the rooms were either up or down stairs!Smoking area was at the entrance with smoke coming in the lobby. The desk clerk was on a personal call about a bad relationship while we stood there waiting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice place...good price...
Cons: Nothing...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and a quiet location.
Cons: I've stayed at several Super 8's and normally the breakfast is very good with a lot of selections. The Hannibal Super 8 did not have many selections for breakfast. There was no fruit, and no pastries of any kind. They only had the usual Belgian Waffle, some kind of bisquit with a gravy sauce and some cereal and toast. It was really disappointing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Excellent breakfast
Cons: Driveway
4.3 Okay
Cons: The room was in the lower level and smelled of mold and basement mildew and fungus. The bedding and chair upholstery was stained, the carpet was very warn and overall cleanness was very poor. Since we were so fated and the on line booking was non refundable we felt we had no choice but to bear up, sleep through it and get out of there as soon as possible. I did not expect luxury but for $127.00 I expected it to be clean.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Room not very clean, especially the bath tub. Pool very small photos very mis leading

Featured amenities include express check-out, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: In room 134 the AC unit will not kick on and off by itself when it supposed to be when it’s put it on energy saver.. I had to get up several times in the night to get the AC off and on myself. That’s why I woke up sick the next day Bed uncomfortable .
7.5 Good
Pros: Very reasonably priced room with 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, and breakfast.
Cons: The Heating/Airconditioning unit is so high on the wall that neither my husband nor I could reach it without transporting an armchair across the room to adjust the setting. Also, I am vegan and would like to see at least an apple or a banana at the included breakfast since I could not eat anything else they offered.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location near downtown Hannibal
Cons: We had to switch rooms three times as the key card access to the rooms didn’t work. Even when we had a key that worked, on returning to the property after going to the old downtown area the key cards didn’t work. The whole system may need upgrading.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was close to the highway ,It was close to the high
Cons: It was not clean. Towels had boogers on them when we got there. Shower was slimy and table tops sticky. The bed was ok. No one else was staying there besides us.
7.0 Good
Pros: A small older motel. But clean and beds were comfortable. Looked like it was updated recently with new carpet, bathroom fixtures and newly painted walls. Chose not to eat breakfast there. Wanted to go to breakfast dinner downtown.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable, breakfast was nill and none, it served it's purpose
5.5 Okay
Pros: Very little to like about the room and property.
Cons: Very disappointing room for the money. Some examples: Sheets were so dirty that we had to sleep on top of the bed spreads. Loud music from cars parked in the parking lot right next to our room--on and off until about 1:00 a.m.People next to us had a constant stream of "visitors" throughout the entire night. We questioned what was going on in there. AC worked, but the unit was so loud it was quite unpleasant. Clean sheets would have gone a long way towards improving our stay, as the cars in the lot and the people next to us were just an unlucky coincidence.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was close to the riverfront. The rooms were decent.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Price was okay , had hot water.
Cons: Knew it was not a 5 star, but my key should open the door to my musty smelling room. Toilet paper should be supplied without having to ask. Only 2 towels? Advertisement said Hot Breakfast Buffet. We got chocolate donettes, banana muffins, cereal and coffee.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The ONLY good thing about this lodging was the convenient location to town
Cons: The rooms were filthy. Hair in the sink & tub in our room. Dead flies on the bathroom floor. No bath rug. The room was not cleaned our 2nd day. The room our friends stayed in had feces in the toilet. The desk person didn’t speak enough English to understand us. The TV was broken & no one came to fix it.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not much to like, a clean place to sleep for the night.

5.5 Okay
Pros: It was a good value and they allowed the dog I also like the location.
Cons: There was a nasty feminine hygiene product in the trash can, we did not get the room I actually reserved, and the lighting inside and outside was horrible.

3.3 Mediocre

10.0 Excellent

Cons: Could use little paint on outside
1.0 Poor
Pros: NOTHING!
Cons: They should just burn this place down. Unless you like 1980s tvs and smoke smelling rooms. Oh and paint peeling off every wall. Lets just say it was the nastiest hotel ever.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The beds were comfy. And since there weren't many people there, it was quiet.
Cons: This hotel has become very run down from what it used to be. Whole wings were completely closed off. The room reeked of old stale cigarette smoke. There was an arcade near the pool, but the machines were unplugged. The vending machines were half empty. The interior of the building was not air conditioned. There used to be areas where attendants would sell drinks and things. Those areas were piled with bags of concrete mix. Furniture was dilapidated. The exterior doors had no locks. The advertised hot breakfast had two empty cereal dispensers and an empty pitcher of milk, an empty basket that used to hold biscuits, and a steam tray with gravy, one piece of bacon and a spoonful of eggs. There was also a coffee dispenser with no coffee and an orange juice dispenser with kind of cold juice. This was while the was still an hour to go for breakfast. Also, no one came to clean our room during the day. If you want any kind of useful amenities, stay somewhere else.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Cold shower, water in the pool was not running on a filtration system and had bugs and other things floating in there. Could really use a deep cleaning and new bed sets-very old and stained. There was not enough breakfast left to feed our family of 6 when we got in the cafeteria area by 9am. Pool and buffet breakfast are a must when booking and both failed. Booked two nights and we left after one.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcoming family running the inn were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Clover shaped pool was awesome. Great value for our family of four on a budget.
Cons: There could have been a better selection at breakfast (fruit, water, yogurt, wheat bread) and would have liked being able to take food room.
