Comfy robes and customized good quality toiletries relaxed us.Brownie bites, happy hours with tasty gourmet samples and genuine, kind greetings and conversations made us feel like a valued guest. Bottled waters and freshly baked goodies were given to us as a parting gift! Everyone should visit Antlers on the Creek! It is a tranquil home away from home to everyone who visits!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We did enjoy the "Secret Garden" a couple of evenings. The ambiance and employees of this boutique hotel were great. Location made it easy to walk to the train station, downtown dining and shopping. Amenities were a plus - Aveda products and whatever the lotion was - I loved it!
Cons: The lighting over the sink could be a little better.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location. Clean, nicely appointed room.
Cons: It was a warm night and there were no screens for the window, so we had to rely on the air conditioner, which was noisy. Also, access from the parking lot to our second floor room involved hauling our bags up a metal outside stairway that was more like a fire escape. Finally, we were exhausted from a long drive and missed breakfast because it finishes at 9am.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming, helpful and neighborly staff, good breakfast, quiet courtyard for a relaxing evening Kid friendly
Cons: Sounds travel and are amplified easily. Bed was too firm
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We're repeat visitors and just enjoy everything about the hotel. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic and the staff who serve it is super friendly! The cruiser bikes that are available to guests are very convenient to zip around town. All of the stores, restaurants, bars, etc. are very close so no need for a car, which is huge. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spotless. You are definitely made to feel welcome there. We look forward to our next visit!

5.4 Okay
Pros: Hotel is in a good location. There are some great restaurants and shops in the area.
Cons: There was no bellman available or bell cart available to help with our bags when we arrived. The furniture was dusty, wallpaper was starting to peal off the walls and ceiling. Thermostat was locked and we were not able to turn on the heater in the room. There was black mold in the grout on the floor. Ate in the restaurant/bar on property, food lacked flavor and was very greasy and not well prepared. On check out the elevator was not working so we had to haul our bags down three flights of stairs. My mom has had two knee surgeries and had some discomfort after the ordeal. Would not recommend this hotel.

Cons: Nobody there when we arrived and had a couple of queries with nobody to ask .
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked the social hour and breakfast. They totally do it first class, and it’s a great hotel to stay at.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. Not too far from downtown, with plenty of stores nearby for those staying a while. Breakfast was pretty so-so. If you're on a budget, the breakfast will fit the bill - it's definitely a step up from your average continental breakfast. If you don't mind spending a little money though, Kassidy's will deliver an excellent breakfast to the hotel.
Cons: Considering it's an extended stay hotel, they could really use more than 2 washers/dryers. Other than that, no complaints.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent happy hour drinks and food. Great complimentary breakfast too.
Cons: Location wasn’t close to restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice rooms and great location. Staff was super friendly.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The food service staff went above and beyond! Hotel employee in the kitchen baked our pizzas we made since there was not an oven in our room. She was very kind and helpful each day. She truly embraces the "customer service"
Cons:  she is the manager in housekeeping, was very rude to other staff in front of us. She made us feel very uncomfortable and I can not believe she has the position she does in a customer service industry with her attitude and demeanor!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast offering could have been better. Very weak coffee, runny oatmeal. The gals helping at breakfast were friendly but there needs to be some instruction on making things.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, great location, very clean and comfortable!
9.3 Excellent
Cons: I booked 4 rooms online at a cost of $448.39 each for a 2 night stay. When I arrived the cost was increased to $450.43. Shouldn’t the original cost be granted? All 4 rooms were billed to me; even though payment was made by each party when our group arrived. Now I have to wait for a refund for 3 of the rooms.
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean hotel
Cons: I booked two king rooms and was given one king and one double. I was told that booking.coom sells rooms they don’t have. very disappointing

Cons: NA
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was ok. It was clean and comfortable.
Cons: It seemed as if the hotel was economizing a little too much: the supplied shampoo/rinse were tiny and not enough for two people to use each day. The morning coffee was really weak too. I also didn't like the air conditioning. I got sinus problems from the air conditioner, and when it would shut off, it would make an odd rattling sound that would wake me up at least 10 times each night.

Pros: Clean and accommodating
Cons: NA
6.3 Good
Pros: The actual room we stayed in was remodeled. The craftsmanship was mediocre but not enough to impact our stay. It was nice and spacious for a hotel room. Large kitchen area and vanity space. Quiet from street noise and other guests. Good breakfast.
Cons: Outside our room the remodel construction was is full display. Walls were bare and floor trim was missing. The elevator was very dirty and stair wells were missing the handrails. Construction materials located within the stairwells. Fire alarm in our room went off briefly at 5 am. Staying in a hotel under construction made us quite concerned when that happens. The front desk said it was an issue in the kitchen. Lastly, early morning kitchen staff was heard talking/laughing under our window (3rd floor). Fortunately it was only for about 5 minutes.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff were nice and greeted me.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't that great taste wise. Elevator reeked a bit.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great kitchen and front desk staff. Friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making the stay enjoyable. The room was very large with lots of room to spread out. Bedroom and bath were comfortable, modern and clean. Help for a couple minor problems was a very short phone call away.
Cons: This hotel is in the midst of extensive renovations. Construction containers consumed multiple parking spots. Carpets were dirty and worn looking due to construction traffic throughout. Given the conditions caused by renovation work, the price was a bit extravagant relative to other comparable hotels in the area. However, given the weekend that we were there and the high demand for rooms, I understand that demand dictates prices, but I felt a bit taken having paid so much for less than perfect conditions.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated the wonderful, helpful staff; The breakfast was amazingly good!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spacious and we loved the river view.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: This hotel advertised newly remodeled rooms, however our room was VERY outdated—drab flooring, old wood trim, very squeaky doors, balcony door falling apart. For the cost of the room, it wasn’t worth it. Loud partying above us both nights. Smoking on balconies—even though it says no smoking there. Good location, but other than that, the Fairfield was a MUCH better option.
6.8 Good
Pros: The view of the river and the restaurant in morning for breakfast. The employees were very professional and courteous.
Cons: The fire alarm went off at 3:00 a.m. with no announcement, the hotel needs to be upgraded in technology. The television guide and time did not match the current time or scheduled programs. It also needs to be upgraded. There was no dinning room for dinner and the furniture in the bar area was worn and needs replacement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very comfortable bed, nice pool area, warm cookies!
Cons: recommend offering cookies without nuts. otherwise. an overall great hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location & Staff friendly & helpful
Cons: Little pricey
8.0 Excellent
Cons: the toilet paper was like sand paper, the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were not enough even for one person single use, and certainly not for two. they were charging for car park $10, where as the details i had received it said $7.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean with a nice view of the river. This hotel really caters to dogs. The pool is small, but it’s indoor. There is a great path along with river out the back door from your room. The grounds are kept nice for kids and pets. It’s close to a big grocery store and a short drive to the Durango train ride up to Silverton. It’s also close to all the restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Durango has a big homeless problem. I didn’t like the bums that were down the river path. You can’t really go past the hotel before you see bums vomiting and passed out, which was not kid friendly walking. The hotel did a great job of keeping them away from the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast should be included with the price of the room. I was very disappointed having to pay $27.00 for breakfast for myself and my three year old grandson.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, next to the river and close to Main St. Pool was clean and heated. Nice outdoor bar and staff, located by river.
Cons: Hotel is pricey. I think it is lame they charge $10 a night for parking even though there's plenty of parking, in addition they have signs posted that they are not responsible for theft (they want your money but not the responsibility).
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: It was a little dirty compared to other times that we stayed here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fine, what we wanted
Cons: n/a
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great property on the river.
Cons: I was guaranteed a certain fee through booking.com that the hotel was to honor. But the hotel didn't honor that and charged me much more.

Cons: nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean, good breakfast!
Cons: Could not connect any external device ( like a video game console) to the TV. No bathroom or changing room in pool area, so you have to get the kids out completely dry off walk to your room to take the kids to the bathroom. Says family friendly but not for kids that like to swim and play video games.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and well maintained.
Cons: My room was adjacent to a stairwell area which became loud when people ran up and down the stairs and allowed doors to slam shut. The Jacuzzi was not working. Overall, the stay was very positive, so we'will likely return on our next visit.

Pros: Good welcome after a long journey to get here. Staff were friendly - the most welcoming so far! Very clean quiet room, comfy beds. Thought the free tea, coffee and cookies was a great touch after a long journey. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast options were pretty unhealthy. Healthier choice of cereal etc. would be good. (Only hot options were scrambled egg with meat or sausage) Location is two or three miles out of town & you can’t walk into town in the evening.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed and a shower were awesome!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: there were stains in the chair in room. This was really disgusting. Everything else was great.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The A/C was not working when we arrived in our room. Reported this to the front desk, they said that the maintenance personnel went home for the day and I would have to deal with 85+ temperatures in the room. One staff member offered to come to the room and check the remote control. He explained to me how the remote operates in a condescending manner as if I just arrived from Mars. He made it sound as if the remote was a magic wand and if the correct sequence of buttons were pressed then the air conditioner would operate once again. I asked for the manager as this was not acceptable but was told that the manager is not in the hotel at this moment but was promised that the air conditioning would be fixed the next day. Left the next morning on an excursion and returned late afternoon to find out that the A/C was not repaired and the room was still at 80 degrees inside. Went to the front desk and asked for the manager and again no manager in the hotel. Now it is obvious that there is no leadership in this hotel. After two nights of no sleep went to check out and guess what, no manager to be found to discuss this matter. The only bright spot in this disaster was the girl at the desk who tried to offer a bit of relief and gave me a small discount on my bill and gave me the business card of the manager if I wanted to call them since she is never in the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good staff
4.3 Okay
Cons: Did not stay in the hotel had to stay above the restaurant, no elevator, room on the 2nd floor, no AC and could not turn the fan on, also they know they have a issue because there was a fan in the closet!
6.8 Good
Cons: The staff were kids. Under staffed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, plush robes, water and coffee in room, coffee and cookies in lobby, many sitting areas in lobby(all with great views)
Cons: The first night they put delicious chocolates in the room; so good with coffee. Then they ran out.
6.3 Good
Pros: location is great
Cons: the breakfast was very, very poor...like that served at a hwy budget motel( the $235/night price was not budget).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: First visit; enjoyed the facility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully maintained historic railway hotel. Great location right next to the heritage railway station. Still owned by the original family. They have taken care to preserve the Edwardian feel of the place, including the furniture and decor. There are some historical artefacts in glass cases in the reception area. Tea, coffee and cookies are available for guests in reception all day, with pretty china cups and saucers to use. Breakfast was nice. Staff all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic (and so young as well!). The room was beautiful with unexpected little details such as bathrobes and slippers available for guests to use. The marble sink and vanity area was lovely and the complimentary toiletries nice. Proper china cups in the room for when you make your own coffee.
Cons: My only criticism was that it was rather noisy at night, both with traffic noise from the road outside and guests in the hotel who were watching very loud TV in the middle of the night. Also the layout of the room could have been better, as the bed was right under the window which meant it was difficult to properly close the blinds and cut out the light. Turning the bed through 90 degrees would probably solve it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Antique touches throughout in a very clean and peaceful environment.
Cons: I liked everything!

Cons: We were stuck on the back with a view of a dirt wall. The immediate outside landscaping was untidy needed manicuring.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were warmly greeted by hotel employee at the front desk who immediately made us feel welcome. The indoor pool was very nice and Central to all rooms and there was a nice green area for sitting or throwing the football as our family did!
Cons: The hotel was slightly dated but it did not effect the comfort, cleanliness or experience at all!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was easy to find.
Cons: The hot water was lousy. The only reason why I had enough hot water was because they was 10 min. tops. That was with it truned all the way up. Not anything like other hotels I have stayed from this chain.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee was great! He worked with us to get us booked and settled with no fuss. Our room was good and clean and it was nice knowing that even though we had to book two separate ways hotel employee made it work.
Cons: no

6.0 Good
Pros: The best part of this hotel is the location.
Cons: This hotel was way over budget for what it is. No better than a choices hotel with two to three times the cost. I stay in hotels 4-5 months a year and for the price this hotel wasn't even close to the quality expected.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. House was amazing. Bathroom were beautiful felt so comfortable. Hosts were super
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Room was quite small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I had driven 500 miles so was really looking forward to a peaceful, nights sleep. The motel is easy to find, but it took me awhile to do so. It's on a corner, but there were NO neon lights flashing. Only traffic I saw was the Town Marshall. I took a chance and walked up the wood steps to what looked to be the office door, opened it, looked to the right and saw Hillary sitting barefoot at her computer in a real cool "common area" with couch,, chairs, etc. Looked like walking into someones home considering, when looking to the left was a full kitchen, with all the necessities, and a full size refrigerator/freezer for the use of guests. From here, it gets even better. Nice surprises in store. Not much for children to do here but drive adults crazy. Great place.
Cons: The Marshall was making a little dust when he drove by. Not much though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, love the decor, super clean. Hosts friendly and helpful.
Cons: Low water pressure for restrooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff when I arrived and great location!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, cozy, clean and comfortable. Very nice staff
Cons: Very small rooms - there is only floor space to open maybe one suitcase. The walk to the bathrooms was quite long and the toilets have no doors, just curtains
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean cute place, will definitely return
Cons: I was in room 3 and WiFi was not great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful owners of comfortable, well kept, property in delightful small town in beautiful area near Mesa Verde. Plus two blocks from best breakfast in the West.
6.5 Good
Pros: The bed and room were comfy. Kitchen was clean and well-equipped. Other guests were lovely and interesting.
Cons: I got a room instead of a shared space. The price was about the same as a motel, without the same advantages. I didn’t realize the bathroom would be down the hall, through the living room next to the kitchen. This would all have been fine if the value had matched the cost, but I felt it did not. Do not now recall the exact price, but over $80. No parking lot; street parking. No handy electrical outlets near bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice to meet some other people in the common area. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Stairs going up to the check-in area & our room were open (always makes our kid a little nervous to see below) and made the sign rattle a bit.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff were nice
Cons: Pictures on internet did not reflect condition of property correctly
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff is pleasant and excellent.
Cons: The public use laundry facilities were awful. Only one dryer was working, and I put one load in 3 full times and my clothes still weren't clean. The bed linens were stained when we went to bed. The tub wouldn't drain when you take a shower, forcing you to stand in your own dirty water. I put in a request for maintenance, and in the 3 days we were here, no one came.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice and friendly and the beds were comfortable
Cons: It was not at all clean. I felt grossed out and uncomfortable due to lack of cleanliness. The bed had some gross stuff on the bed skirt right near the head of the bed (see photos). I had to remove the bed coverings because they were dirty and had hair on them. I had to wear shoes in the bathroom because the floor was dirty. I would not choose to stay here again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean, comfortable, and safe.

Pros: The room was nice, included microwave and frig. I loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The complementary drinks were a defendant gold star.
Cons: The ac needs to be relocated, it blew into the bathroom. So most the air did not circulate.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station and downtown.
Cons: The key for door over 4 days, card only worked 1st time, every other time, trip to the lobby to redo code so we could get in room. Key was nowhere near credit cards or cell phone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfest, spacy room, comfy beds. Even if some equipment (e.g. carpets) needs a renovation, the hotel is very clean and we would come definitevely back. Plenty of parking lots. Complimentary washing machine. Walking distance to the train station, many shops, restaurants, galleries. And the happy hours drinks!
Cons: The only problem was the lower water presure, we were on the third floor. That could be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location to the center of town was excellent and the staff was friendly and professional, making us feel welcome.
Cons: There is some construction going on next to the building. I thought it was going to bother me more than it did. There was still a nice view of the mountain from our balcony and a well-positioned tree.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: That I had a place to sleep
Cons: The a/c didn’t work (how does a hotel that costs $200 a night not have central air?!) and when I asked for a fan, the guy said he couldn’t do anything. When I woke up, it was dripping water out of the a/c unit and the carpet was soaked! The breakfast was what I would have expected at a trashy motel 6. Definitely won’t stay here again!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, and the room was clean and good sized.
Cons: Screaming kids in pool at 10 PM
8.8 Excellent
