The Red Lion Inn is very old fashioned and quaint. The service was excellent andfriendly and the breakfast in the dining room was great every morning. Remember this is a very old building, the floors creak and the doors were a little sticky but I didn't mind.

We were delighted with the suite accommodations.Until we located the stool, the bed was something of a challenge, but fun. We had a friendly visit from Simon who settled into the most comfortable chair in the room , and since my daughter and I both love cats we really enjoyed him.

We had come specifically to attend programs at Tanglewood & maybe some things extra. We went to the Norman Rockwell Museum and two galleries nearby. We had coffee & breakfast in, picnic lunches, and dinners at the Inn. The meal food & service are excellent & my companion has food allergies. The swimming pool was calming and beautiful, even for my quick morning swim in a light rain. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The frosting was Simon = the beautiful, big cat that roams about the Inn. We were in Steves' House, not the primary inn. It turned out to be a delight. It is a half block away. There was a small, but fully efficient kitchen, with ice machine & coffee maker. The tennis courts were across the street. I grew up less than 45 minutes away, but hadn't stayed for at least 20 years. Old things can get even better with time.We will definitely return as it is a pleasant & easy drive from the New York City metro area, well maybe not in a January snow storm, but I have no doubt that there would be a smiling face at the front desk when we arrive.

Beds are super comfortable! Staff is very nice and helpful. You cannot beat the location if you want to peruse the Warren Street shops. The complimentary breakfast is a nice feature! Amazing value for the money! Nothing

Great location, friendly service, and quiet.

Seamless checkin, with an upgraded room, segued into cocktails on the front porch. A delicious dinner -- again on the porch -- followed in the Inn's pub (which has a selection of dishes available from the Wed-Sat-only flagship dining room). Outstanding all around.

The staff were excellent, calling us via phone in our room to ensure all was well and then responding immediately to a question we had. Great location and easy access to several gems of towns. Lovely view nestled in the Berkshires. Big room and quiet surroundings. Had a variety of cable channels. Good deal for money! The rooms are pretty dated and the bathroom fixtures were a bit quirky. The tub and sink are dated and looks aged.

clean, cheap, basic, no frills, but not needed if youre just there to sleep, shower, etc.

Ski, snowboard, bowled Definitely one of the best in the area. Very good breakfast although there could have been more seating. In room fridge and microwave great for after ski snacks There could have been hooks for ski jackets etc. and a little more storage. When skiing you have a lot of clothing.

As the hotel wasn't busy, I was upgraded to a small suite. It was VERY clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice and had a fair selection of items.

It is a nice simple place

Beautiful view and surrounding area, really nice owners who gave advice on where to go in the area and how to get there. They left us brownies, chocolate, offered movies and upgraded us a second room. Will definitely be back, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
