Was not aware that the pool would closed. Not only was the pool was closed, the ice machines were broke and there was no phone service in the rooms. The entire hotel had a bad smell and the carpets in the room were stained. Did not eat breakfast because of the smells.
Not bad - staff were very friendly and helpful. Resident use computer printer was on the fritz, staff let me use their computer to print airline boarding passes. Lobby carpet was stained, pool out of service and no soap in room and felt to be understaffed. Manager needs to pay closer attention to facility.
or in a bind its OK but otherwise stay somewhere else.
I'm sorry to say that our overnight stay wasn't very restfull. The beds were very worn and sagged in the middle. The towels were also worn thin from all of the reuse. The drapes provided little in the way of privacy due to the A/C blower always blowing up the light weight drapes.I had to resort to putting my shoes up along the bottom of the drape to keep it in place. The only positive item would be the direct 2-way radio contact that the hotel had with the shuttle bus to the casino. That was very quick and helpful. Also,we found that the back door into the hotel NEVER WAS LOCKED,day or night!
Since there is not many motels in this area, you don't have much choice. The room was OK, but never had any extra towels. Never in the swimming area and when asked for more, they said they didn't have any extras. Not very friendly people working the front desk.
The breakfast room was a mess and was missing milk for the cereal and the coffee and amenities for the coffee were empty...day old coffee i found out in the lounge and warmed it up in a dirty microwave! i will never stay here again... and maybe never stay at a days inn again!!!!!!
There could have been a taller stand for the TV and i was alittle upset there was not a nightstand on both sides of bed. but rooms were nice other than that. Employees were very friendly and it was cozy and quite. very good location to casino and food.
We stayed at the Days Inn for one night this weekend and found it to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in and they told us the pool would not be available for the weekend we should have walked away. Unfortunately, there are limited hotel options in that area. Beyond that, our television would not turn on, and our bath would not drain. So, to shower we had to stand in our own dirty water!
This hotel was a good value, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable enough. The pool was warm and comfortable, although the hot tub was a bit too hot. The breakfast selection was average. The only odd thing was the milk is a gallon stored inside the dispenser -- which you need to open like a refrigerator, rather than use the dispensing handle. We would definitely stay there again at the value price we got.
Carpets in the hallways are filthy, sheets and towels are old and worn. Burn holes in other bedding. Pool was out of service and the surrounding property was not well kept. This hotel looks as if it is not properly managed or maintained. Would not recommend. Way overpriced for what it is.
