10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning room, breathtaking view, amazing hosts and breakfast was beautiful with a brilliant selection.
Cons: Nothing loved everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were very friendly and the breakfast and home made cakes were superb. Lovely comfortable beds. Ground coffee was a nice touch provided in the room together with a quality cafetiere provided. For those who don't like instant coffee, this was a lovely change from the norm.
Cons: The shower room was impossibly small. Tiniest washbasin I have ever seen. Hard to clean your teeth without banging your elbow on the shower doors. The shower is the small corner type and there are no shelves in the shower room to stand bottles of shampoo or other bathing and hair stuff that women always use. Had to leave it all outside the shower room on the window ledge in the bedroom or on the shower floor. Two nights was enough, would pick a room with a larger bathroom next time. It was not as good as I was expecting from the pictures and descriptions on the website. There are no seats in the grounds and no smoking area provided for smokers to put out their cigarettes. Quite a long way off the main road down narrow country lanes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not one part of the house, room or garden that we couldn’t recommend! The modern yet rustic feel to the room was lovely. Linen all smelt fresh and lovely. Breakfast a perfect size and delicious! Hope to be back!thank you both for a lovely stay

Pros: Everything. Val the host was very sociable and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On arrival Val gave us a lovely warm welcome and served us tea and scones with jam and fresh clotted cream before showing us to our room. We stayed in the Tamer room, which is a converted out building. The room is beautifully clean, comfortable and well presented. It has a porch, large room with a huge double bed, all the facilities you could think of and a good sized en-suite bathroom with a huge shower. There was loads of hot water and lovely fluffy towels. There are facilities to make tea of several varieties, coffee and hot chocolate. Even a small bag of local fudge and a small bottle of wine was provided as a welcome. Fresh milk is provided in a small flask daily. Having our own entrance was lovely and we could come and go without disturbing anyone. Parking is in the concrete surfaced farm yard in front of the house. Breakfast is served in a dining room in the main house, just next door and you could have just about anything you wanted from fruit and cereals to a lovely full english - or all of it!! Forda Farm is a working farm and feels peaceful, safe (down a short farm lane), and remote on very narrow country roads. The nearest town is Holsworthy less than 5 miles away and there are pubs a similar distance away. You do really need a car......... Val can't do enough for you and made us feel at home and cared for ...... what more can you wish

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with superb shower, room was warm. Had a good breakfast, nicely cooked. A nice location, and told to help ourselves to cake on arrival. Very good value at the price we paid.
Cons: There were cobwebs in our room although otherwise it was very clean, as were the premises generally. We had to ask for a few things at breakfast as they were not on the table, milk, sugar, butter. Also had to ask for more coffee - so nice that one cup not quite enough! We did not feel the owners went out of their way to make us welcome.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and a very good range of choices. the owners were able to mix and match choices and cater for specific requirements. Location was lovely but a bit tricky to find the first time.
Cons: It was all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proprietors extremely friendly and helpful. We have stayed here numerous times for more than a decade and came to expect very very high standards from the original owners. Now they have passed the batton on, I am pleased to be able to say the current proprietors have matched their standards and indeed even effected some improvements. We look forward to our next visit!
Cons: nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place to spend a few nights of R&R. The hosts, breakfast and the accommodation were perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room and on-suite plus a comfy lounge for the sole use of guests .Lots of hot water and fluffy towels. Plenty of choice for breakfast with no one rushing us to be on ones way each day. My wife and I enjoyed a stroll around the lake and would have liked sitting there each evening if the weather had been better.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.I only have two things that annoy me ,only one chair in a double room and lack of shelf space in a bathroom as neither of these arose I was a happy bunny. Two chairs in the room and hooks in the 0n-suite and a very wide window sill for my toiletries etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a superb stay, great hospitality, comfortable, clean .. you know, a cosy home ambience. One suggestion though, (not that I am going to England again that soon)... as it is summer, would be good to have some sort of table fan in the event you have a pain in the ar... guest like me, who would like to have one in their room.... cos it can get a tad stifling even though the windows are opened, Summertime can be horribly hot. Have got to close the curtain as it gets light very early....so no chance to get a whiff of the abundant cooling breeze. Perhaps have another layer, i.e. a day curtain, those light airy ones, that would keep the glare (bearable) and let the breeze through. So guests have the option to use whichever. Thank you. Great place nevertheless.
