The friendly staff and very helpful.
Parking fee is way too high. The parking entrance way is steep. It was kind of scare because my rental car almost did make it up all the way. It would be nice if it's a little lower.
location is nice
additional fees was not readily include in pricing, so the cost advertised is not cost charged.
The location was good and the hotel was nice overall. Despite it's size, the room was pretty nicely laid out.
The room was very small. The A/C had failed. I knew something was up because the check in process was painful and there were lots of other upset customers. What really made me angry was the way the clerk checked us in completely without mentioning the problem. After she handed us our keys she casually mentioned that there wasn't any AC and it would not be fixed anytime soon. There was no offer to compensate for this. Later we approached another clerk with a complaint and were were told that they were attempting to place customers at other Aqua properties. It seemed that they only did this if you were very persistent. At that point we ended up stuck with the room because they never followed up on our request. The thing that really upset me the most was indifferent nasty attitude displayed by the first clerk. I might have had a different experience on a another day, but this time turned me off completely. There a lot of other fine places to stay in this price range. I won't risk coming back to this chain.
Charged for 40 dollars of amenities we didn't use ie tv wifi etc
Outdated, few amenities, drab
If not looking to be on the beach - this is a great location.
Furnishings are dated - definitely can use an update!
Clean, comfortable, convenient. Nothing to complain about about facilities.
3 pm check-in was inconvenient.
Staff is very friendly
The hotel was quiet, modestly priced and located adjacent to the trolley lines and public transit.
The location was great, the staff was friendly and while the room was clean and the view fair enough,it seemed small and unfortunately the tub backed up and that was not at all appealing. That could happen anywhere, anytime but this instance was really bad timing.
other than that mentioned above, the hotel was pleasant. On the recommendation below, a maybe was really my thought but i accidentally picked no.
they let me change rooms-the partial city view was on 2nd floor to noisy-should of got a better rate for the back side room
the lobby smelled of mold
excellent price for a good view
It is near the beach and Waikiki center. Public transport and supermarket is very close to the hotel. It is nice to have the breakfast besides the pool.
First impression was not so good (construction work in front of the building was very loud) but hotel offers everything you need . ATM machine in the lobby takes additional fees (better to use another one)
Very convenient location which is near the Ala Moana Center and the beach, while the price is acceptable.
Good size room and quite clean
'Continental Breakfast' is a big of a joke, especially on rainy days, as it uses the pool site veranda connected to a converted guest room. Food is poor. The 'Tour desk' is not aprt of the hotel, and advertises only tours that are linked to 'Time Share' resort seminars, then purporting them as saving you lots of money. Discount tours can be found more readily in the "Oahu this week' magazine...
