9.3 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. We met other travellers, ate together with them and played games. Good atmosphere!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. When arriving we were welcomed by Paola who helped us tremendously with planning the rest of our trip. She had amazing recommendations for which we were very grateful. The room was good and comfortable, it got cold at night but there was a heater. Breakfast was basic but good (fresh bread with butter and marmelade). Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The bathroom could use some work (dripping tap).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cute little hostel with an outdoor courtyard. Unfortunately, it can only be enjoyed by smokers. The atmosphere was festive with people cooking group dinners nightly. Dorms have AC unit though you could just leave the door open at night. Staff was super helpful on activities to be done locally and throughout Argentina. Five minute walk to the town center and market. Bathrooms were always clean.
Cons: Wifi was great but only usable in the front room. Breakfast of bread and jam was the same every day. With a 9.9 rating, I expect something exceptional.
7.5 Good
Pros: We liked the comfortable beds and the breakfast was simple but tasty. Friendly staff who recommended eating options and how to visit the Hornocal.
Cons: Shower over the toilet was a little odd and impractical. Lockers were not in the rooms so inconvenient. A little noisy as rooms are adjacent to the common courtyard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean, sociable hostel with small kitchen, inside patio, just minutes to the bus station. Paula gives you a map with lots of tips on where to go in and around the town. Good bread rolls and fresh coffee for breakfast!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Hostel with a decent breakfast. The owner gives you wonderful recommendations for things to do and at night everyone ate dinner together. Very nice atmosphere and easy to meet other people.
Cons: The dorm is a little small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful place with beautiful people! This hostel is a real gem, one of the best places we have stayed on our travels through South America. The staff are really friendly, warm and helpful. There’s a great vibe in the hostel and the rooms are really comfortable and smell great! Had some really good sleeps there. The cute little cat is an added bonus. Feels like a home from home. Keep up the good work guys!
Cons: WiFi in the room was a bit temperamental but worked well in the reception area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable private double room. Good beds and shower. Friendly staff - nice homely atmosphere. Gave us really great advice for local activities as well as crossing the border to Bolivia and making our way to Tupiza.
Cons: Room got warm at night with limited air con and windows for fresh air.

Pros: The bed and the possibility of leaving our bags ahead of check-in time.
Cons: Carry a torch if going out at night, as the area has no public lights. No or weak hot shower. No WiFi in the room. The room wasn't ready two hours after check-in time. If you're Argentinian and want hot water for your mate, be prepared to pay for hot TAP water! Avoid this hotel, there are cheaper and way better options in town!

5.8 Okay
Pros: Vincent was helpful and welcoming and allowed to hang around to try to sort our plans out.
Cons: The place itself is overpriced (very). I am sure at one point it was a lovely place but it is mouldy and tattered with plaster peeling off the walls and our toilet was pretty awful (literally broken seat and pretty disgusting). The place had been funky at one point but just feels dirty and unloved now. Breakfast was very minimal, we had three tiny pieces of bread for two of us..... nice bread but hardly worth the effort....
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. Good location. Very close to the bus terminal. Only a short walk to the center. Self-baked bread and fresh juice for breakfast.
Cons: Wifi wasn’t working well in the dorm. And in the one shower the water wasn‘t running off very well. But no reason, not to come back :)

Pros: Good bed, nice location with really cute garden, and bar with artisanal beers. Staff is friendly. Less than 5mn by walk from the plaza. Perfect!
Cons: Everything is good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly, young hosts. They cooked dinner in the evening and provided fresh orange juice for breakfast. They offer laundry service and gave pretty good recommendations for our further travels to Bolivia. Hostel is located close to bus terminal and central square. Fully equipped kitchen for general use. Hostal has a tiny courtyard where you can just hang out und relax. In the evening, they provide drinks. Very cozy to stay there.
Cons: Did not really bother us, but: no hand soap or towels provided.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincent from France the owner is very friendly along with his girlfriend. The tables and chairs are amazingly nice...very clean, comfortable. Great bread for breakfast. Great location...I liked it very much I stayed an extra night. The big dog is a beautiful and friendly pet....
Cons: The hostel could do with just a few extra toilets.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Vincent and his wife make this place, they simply can’t do enough for you. There was a problem with noisy and disrespectful guests and Vincent did not hesitate to deal with it.
Cons: The room was quite small and next to the kitchen so the noise travelled into our room. This wouldn’t have been an issue however if other guests had been respectful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent

Cons: The two 8 bed dorms and some private rooms share 2 bathrooms. That was a nightmare in the morning.

Pros: The breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly. It was really well located. The beds were comfortable and warm
Cons: The room smelt really bad as the space was too small and the toilet door was often left open. There was no lock on room or the front door of the hostel so it did not feel very safe leaving possessions there.

Pros: The location of the hostel is really good, the staff very friendly and Nico is there to make you company and give all the information that you need. The breakfast is good and the relationship quality vs price is good.

Pros: Quiet small pension with parking facilities. Three minutes walk to the centre of town. Very friendly staff. No communication problems despite my lack of Spanish.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Humahuaca is not a fancy place, so your options are mostly hostels. This place had a private room, good WiFi, the guy at the front desk is awesome, very helpful. The location seems sketchy because it’s in a back alley, but is 1block away from all the action. We were here for Carnaval and the town was rocking. As a result the price was high which is fair. We really enjoyed this spot, would recommend if you are looking for a reliable, decent place to stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The miniature courtyard is really very nice.
Cons: I did not have a very good feeling when paying the bill. It was only possible in cash and the VAT discount was not taken into account.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Problem with this hotel is they only accept cash, so you are being charges 21% VAT which is not the case when you pay with credit card.

Pros: Breakfast was okay.
Cons: The room was really small, WIFI didn't work in the room, there was a problem with warm water (but fixed immediately after we complained). Some sockets in the room didn't work.

Pros: They charge the tax even when You are a foreign. No facilities to sit outside in the shade
Cons: Clean and good breakfast, nice dining room, but small kitchen
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice hot shower with good pressure. Good breakfast.
Cons: A 15 minute walk from the centre along very sandy/dusty roads. Main issue was that they wouldn't honour the price on booking.com.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The 5 bed room is pretty cool, 3 beds on ground level and 2 more above. Really nice layout. Chill atmosphere, helpful staff
Cons: The kitchen is small, if there are more than 2 people cooking you will have to wait for your turn
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so kind. Breakfast was great!
Cons: Wi fi at the dorm room was weak.
7.0 Good
Pros: Tidy hostel with a small lawn. Good staff.
Cons: Very cold room - double room en-suite. Small heater but still not cosy. Bathroom was actually too cold to use! Bed was comfy although bed linen very heavy and we ended up using our sleeping bags. We realised that the key to our room actually opened other rooms as well! Breakfast was the usual minimal affair but we expect that. Make sure you ask for the best room when you arrive as we were shown into one literally half the size with no storage and it was only when I opened the wrong room by mistake with my key I found out there were others twice as good and unoccupied. Owner let us swop but wouldn’t have offered. Not sure why they would keep the good rooms as they all cost the same.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, cozy hostel. Nice staff and good breakfast. Well located a little outside of town. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Place is very clean and well maintained.
Cons: They won't accept card payments (obligation by law) and they charge foreign tourists IVA. So you pay an extra 21% here compared to other hostels. Bathroom is outside. Kitchen is a little small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hostel, friendly staff, great breakfast, good WiFi.
Cons: A bit outside of city center
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived at the end of the day at the property and where were hosted. The place is located reasonably outside the city center and we find it great. It is really quiet and the view of the mountains all around make it even nicer. The breakfast was great too with the famous dulce de leche and jam served with toast, hot beverage and fresh squeezed orange juice. We recommend this place!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nice breakfast, good atmosphere!
Cons: No place to charge my phone in my room
