Room size

Thia hotel was a joke. It is advertised as a 3 star. Do not stay here. I had to negotiate a price to get 2 beds. They started at 30.00 then went down to 10.00. Who does that??? The breakfast was ok and that is all good I have to say about this place.

Staff and breakfast. The kitchen was nice

Kind of far and out of the way for tourists. Room was threadbare

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were an excellent size and very clean. The breakfast had plenty of variety and was really good. We loved the Texas shaped waffles! We had an excellent stay and would return to this hotel.

The place was filthy, smelly and had cockroaches. The price was mech too high for the room.

Convenient location

Intended to stay 4 nites. After nite 3 , discovered 10 to 12 black bugs in my grandsons bed after he got up. They didn't have any more rooms except for a room with 1 bed so we chose not to stay our last night. They offered no compensation for this inconvenience and the credit given for our last night was less than one fourth of our original bill. They said they "guess this was due to fees". Won't stay there or any other Motel 6 again.

Everything we needed to get to was within 10 miles. Very easy to access waterfront as well.

Cleanliness

Location - only

Paint peeling in bathtub. Short in lamps causing lights to flicker or not turn on at all. Air conditioner inefficient.

I loved the swimming pool area.

The oatmeal ran out at about 7:00 am. I ask desk clerk if they had any more oatmeal and she said that there was no more.

The swimming pool was awesome.

Breakfast

The lady cleanly dejected deonkddoxe ans breakfast area was super clean and very nice. I sis r her her naw though. She has kind blonde hair And was a slim lay day.

Had a great location, nice beach access, pool was great. Couldn't get in ocean due to flesh eating bacteria. Restaraunts were within walking distance. Had a nice time.

I had read many comments about cleanliness, but our room was clean and didn't 'smell'. I think people forget you are by the ocean and there is a natural smell there anyway.

Our room had a horrible mildew small, it was even in our cloths when we got home.

Nothing about this room and stay was to like!

I literally cleaned the fake wood floors myself because I was grossed out by the filth on the floors... The beds where placed so close to each other and between walls it left hardly any room for the individual sleeping close to the wall to get up to use rest room. Air conditioner was not working properly in room 216 and even after notifying office nothing was done to accommodate family such as moving us to another room. And for the price I was shocked ...I could have stayed somewhere else cheaper and would have had the same quality of room or perhaps even better! I know never to stay there again!

Close to the beach.

Beachfront views were great.

Room needed minor repairs. But, main complaint was could not get room's ac to comfortable setting. Wasn't terrible. Eventually set thermostat to 60. It never got close.

The room was very great! They ended booking us in a handicap room since they were booked and offered to switch rooms for free on the next day, but we decided to stay in the room. Everything was clean and nice except there was a whole lot of dust by the balcony and other places. Besides that the location was perfect and the staff and cleaning service was very nice to us. I would go back to that hotel again if we ever plan on going to Corpus Christi.

The hotel jacuzzi was always to full and most of the time when we would try to swim it was filled of people that had brought their own alcohol. Also it was sometimes thought to find a parking spot, I had to walk somewhere because I didn't wanna lose my parking spot

The fitness center looks poor

Everything about our stay was good, except for one little hiccup. Our bath/shower had an issue w/ the water, that wouldn't turn off, Had to change rooms. Was comped a breakfast for the trouble

It had vacancies. And for good reason.

The staff was very rude. Completely unorganized. Had to wait 25 minutes to check in and another 20 checking out because no one was at the front desk. Then they didn't know what rooms were available. Roaches in the room. 'Breakfast' is just bread. Awful

Easy on and off the highway.

There was hardly any water pressure in the shower. Kids were jumping off of the beds next door, running and screaming outside the rooms up until 11:30 at night.

The hotel was right on the beach.

The hotel was old and out dated. The concept was nice, but the pool are would have been a lot better had it been a little bigger. Also the arcade games the had were old.

The only thing that I liked was the close proximity to the water and the fact that it was in Corpus.

I hated the roaches, they were everywhere. We had to shake out our luggage they were so bad. It's a serious infestation.

The location was great and we got a view of the marina

The staff were very rude. We've never had a problem reserving a room with our 4 kids until that day.

There was nothing not to like. In it's category of affordable, good quality accommodation this hotel does the job very well. It is in a similar location to some other bigger name hotels and is considerably cheaper. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Some people might find the mattress a bit firm. I like a firm mattress so it was perfect for me.

Location Price

The smoke coming from the room next to me. There are still smoking rooms in this hotel, although they claim it is non-smoking. I had smoke coming through the door to the room next to me. I told the office and they stated it was a smoking room next to me. Will never stay there again. Manager has not returned my calls for a credit.

Kindness of staff. Had easy access to swimming pool and fitness room. The stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed out stay. We plan to go back.

Staff was kind but our trash in the room accumalated. I asked 3 times if it can be taken out. I guess she forgot.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is located near many stores and restaurants. It is also fairly close to the college.

Although not the fault of the hotel, the people in the room above us were very noisy.

Beds were too hard - restroom was not clean - previous damage to room was still being addressed - not enough towels - not enough pillows

pet friendly..helpful at front desk. It's close to beach and heb plus variety of restaurants.

There was an issue with the door staying locked. It was room 202. The lock needs to be fixed.

THE TOP SHEET WAS STAINED, I DO NOT LIKE STAINED SHEETS ON ANY BED.

location, price, and free breakfast were all pretty good. bright lights in parking lot, felt safe. staff member at check in was very friendly and helpful.

pet friendly hotel.. my 8 yr old was miserable from allergic reactions. thin walls. heard children and pets running the halls and in the room upstairs a lot.

Everything real clean staff was real polite and always ready to help with any questions or concerns

The hotel and staff were nice.

I was charged twice. Once from priceline and once from the hotel. Now I'm having trouble getting a refund.

The ONLY thing we enjoyed was that it was located near beach.

The hotel room was extremely dirty. We saw 2 roaches, and one other strange bug. Walls were dirty, stained sheets, coffee pot was full of old coffee. Pool had beer cans all over it.overall horrible experience. Breakfast was only old, stale cereal.

It had roaches The room was not clean The staff was never at the desk, and acted as if helping me was a burden. The lobby smelled of Curry When I complained about the bugs, etc., they could have cared less.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn't get to go to the pool because of a lack of time but the last time we were here we did and we loved it. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff was nice and welcoming. Carpets need shampooing they have beach sand in them.

Professional introduction and greeting us. location on interstate 35 in Corpus Christi has an employee that greeted a little boy that just ran to her for no reason & hugged her & I replied with a happy" awww!". Employee ( female) said " You just made my day!"
