10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yianas is really friendly and makes you feel welcome straightaway. The property is in a peaceful spot with great views over the islands. It’s a 10min walk to Livadi beach and a 15min walk to the port for supplies. Sitting in the garden for breakfast is lovely and the breakfast itself is freshly cooked by Yianas each morning. I would recommend the villa to anyone looking for a peaceful few days on Irakleia x
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A nice beautiful decorated place from the sweet owner Mr. John Zografos (his surname in English means painter-artist). He is a really worker and loves what he does. He makes you feel comfortable and think of going there again. Rooms has his personal tone and, most, the outwards seems as a liitle paradise, living in peace. I have to mention that his cooking tasting at breakfast could be called him as ''master of pies' '.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful views and settlement. Poetic location.
Cons: A bit steep to go twice a day on the way back from the beach. But that's why some people prefer such a secluded location.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Villa Zografos was excellent. The property with a small pond, many plants and a great set view is very relaxing. Ioannis was a great host and the breakfast he prepared differently each day was great. Our room was airy and furnished with a lot of attention to detail.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views from the apartment are beautiful. It's nice that there's a shared kitchen available in case you want to cook your own food, and it was all very clean. The hotel is located a bit further from the port, but that's actually good, because the hotel is very close to a nice beach. In addition, they provide free car rides to town and back every day, multiple times per day.
Cons: The breakfast was nice but it could have been more in quantity. That's the only thing. For the rest everything was great.

Pros: First of all, the host Fanis was the best host you could imagine. Whenever we thought he was already providing the best possible service, he managed to surprise us again. I don't want to take all surprises he has in store from you, but believe me the overall stay was amazing. Second, the view from our room, which was truely breathtaking. You get a slight hint from the pictures but they can not cover the actual beauty you'll find there. Breakfast at our balcony, hiking tours, perfectly clean rooms, ... i could go on forever, yet i highly encourage you to just find out yourselfes. Finally, my personal favorite was the cave trip Fanis organized for us. He loves hiking and you will have lots of fun with him on his tours. Altogether I would really like to rate 11/10, because it was so over the top perfect. Thank you again Fanis for this amazing experience :-)
Cons: There was absolutely nothing, not the slightest bit to complain about.

Pros: Everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional property in every way and to top it all a wonderful host.... Fanos could not do enough for his guests.... most welcoming and ensured all our needs were catered for.... nothing was too much trouble... this included collecting us from our chosen restaurant each evening. In addition, we went on a hiking trip with Fanos ... he shared with us all the wonders of this beautiful island... an experience not to be missed. If island hopping in Greece, Iraklia is a must for those seeking peace, tranquility and unspoilt surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent a fabulous 5 days at Villa Meltemi in a spacious apartment with all the necessary equipment and services. The view from the very large terrace of the sea and islands was stunning. Our host, Fanis, was exceptional in terms of his attention to our requests and his knowledge of the island. There are many excellent walking/hiking opportunities on the island and a beautiful swimming beach 5 minutes away. The breakfast he provided were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We would very highly recommend Villa Meltemi to anyone visiting this fantastic island.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was so rich and tasty, the best that we Evers had in Greece.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fanis is very proud of what he has created here in the last three years. The complex is amazing with the rooms being large & beautifully presented! Fanis met us at the port as well as taking us on a hike one evening to visit the cliffs. The complex is located on the hill giving amazing views but also a nice walk down to Livadi beach and also down to the village where there is a supermarket. The breakfasts each morning are always different & very plentiful. Just down the road is a Hotel where we eat a couple nights for dinner but also close is the Surfin Bird restaurant which had the most amazing peach salad. We just loved staying at Villa Meltemi & wish Fanis & his family all the very best for the future.
Cons: Nothing to not like!

Pros: The house is located in the middle of the town which is 5 mins away walking from the port. They pick you up and drop you off to port on request. The room itself is beautiful and comfy along with its own balcony. You can have food in the snake bar/restaurant next door all the time. This island is perfect for people who want some quiet time away from mass tourism and parties. A beach right next to the port which is super clean and Livadi beach is only 15 mins walk (you could take a bus too $1.80 each way pp). A few restaurants around the property only few meters away (supermarket only 20 meters away!). Nice people, great food, quiet and couple/family friendly. Highly recommend this place for a Greek holiday.
Cons: Everything is great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation fits in with the general ambience of the village of being a large extended family ,unpretentious and bit of the typical old Greece. Nothing fancy and if you love an Island full of simplicity and true Greek life without the curio shops and fake Taverna's this is the place for you.Angelos Rooms location is perfect to enjoy this in a quiet no frills setting.
Cons: This place was perfect for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay on quiet Iraklia The rooms are just a 5 minute walk up from the beach and ferry port - good location as most other rooms are a longer walk up the hill! Very friendly hosts, who also run the coffee shop underneath the rooms - perfect for a morning iced coffee
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Stayed here for just one night on our short trip to Iraklia. Owner picked us up from the port and showed us to a lovely room at the hotel. It’s a huge shame that it was infested with mosquitos. We killed over 50 in the room. We’ve been traveling around the Greek islands for the last 4 weeks and haven’t seen anything like it. Needs to be treated for Mosquitos. A real shame as the room was beautiful. Owner said it was because it was the time of the year and there had been a lot of rain. But didn’t see anything like this in Andros, Tinos, Syros, Naxos, Schinoussa or Amorgos. The electric plug in the wall wasn’t sufficient.
Cons: Mosquitos!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor in this hotel was really beautiful and fitting for a relaxed Greek island. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was included and the options were really good - plenty of good coffee, baking, cheeses jams and meats. The views from our balcony were just wonderful. We hesitated about booking a little up the hill but in fact, almost all accomodation on Iraklia requires you to walk up from the water level to get to it. Once there we were so glad me made that choice. Highly recommended.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff. Design of the hotel was very stylish and designed with an eye for detail, great art. Location was good between village and livadi beach. Being situated near the top of a hill daily exercise automatically included. Pick up,and drop, off from and to ferry well organized. A bowl of Fresh fruit was offered daily at breakfast.
Cons: Variaty off breakfast could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It had a nice view. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. I liked the design and all the items were carefully chosen.
Cons: I would recommend more plants and herbs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our favourite hotel in our 2 week stay in Greece. The location is up the top of town which is perfect because it is close to town as well as to Livadi beach (the best one) on the other side of the hill. The room was totally luxurious with a big comfortable bed, lovely furnishings and a balcony with ocean view. The breakfast was superb and the area in which you sit is breathtakingly beautiful. You will not find a more peaceful start to the day. Both of the women who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. I just hope we can come back again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bedroom very nicely decorated Very good breakfast Strongly recomend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Apart from the natural beauty and genuine character of the island the other reason of the success of our holidays in Iraklia was Speires! Amazing sea view rooms, super clean, modern, comfortable and within walking distance from the 2 main beaches of the island and amazing service and breakfast. Other than that, Anta (the owner) and her team are all very kind hearted and wonderful people that helped us a lot while we had our friend sick. We could't say anything less than thank you for the amazing hospitality! We will certainly come back soon!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: *Lovely views from the balcony: and we could see the sea from our bed! *Very comfortable bed and good facilities in our room. *Short walk to restaurants and to town beach, with another, larger beach just 15 minutes' walk away. *Friendly welcome, with free transfers from and to our ferries.
Cons: * Possibly a little over-priced. * Speires might consider offering breakfast picnic packs for those who have to leave for a ferry before breakfast service, given that breakfast is included in the room rate?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and location on a beautiful island

Pros: Hotel had fantastic & stunning views over Iraklia - fabulous hotel to take in the sunset. Michael was a superb & friendly host, who kept in contact when we were unable to dock due to high winds & his wife met us at the port to take us to the hotel. Rooms were very clean, tidy & as described. We were aware that the hotel was at top of hill, but we embraced the walk to Livadi beach daily & down to main resort for evening.

Cons: The hotel has a wonderful view, but that means that you have to climb up a few hundreds meters to reach it from the port and the village.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying at Alexandras studios really made our time in Iraklia exceptionally good. Martha (the property owner) was very attentive to make us feel like if we were at home, she was at the port at our arrival and she was always available for gibing us hints and tips about the island. The Studio was really good, very nice equipped, very clean, and with the best view on the Island. The location of the property is very convenient because it is basically equidistant between the town center and Livadi beach. We would definitely go back to Alexandras Studios next time we will visit Iraklia.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Alexandra is fantastic and she took very good care of us. Every day she came and gave us some treat that was very mush appreciated. The location, on top of the hill, is great. You walk down the hill on one side and you end up in the village, walk down the other side and you are at the beach. We cooked most dinners in our little kitchenette which was well enough equipped to cook simple food without problem. Having breakfast and dinner on the terrace made it well worth the effort of making them. The view was fantastic. We will stay here again next time we visit!
Cons: We found it somewhat expensive compared to similar places on other Greek islands. The room was quite small, it got cramped with no good place for the bags.
