Brand-new and very well designed hotel. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Free access to movies and entertainment via the provided Suite Box. The windows were sound-proof for street noise but not really for the railway noises that were just below our room (western side). Prefer the eastern side if you stay there or take the highest possible floor (9 floors). The room itself was very well designed for a couple but a bit too small for 3 adults. In particular this cannot be considered as an apartment as the kitchen area was too small with no cutlery, plates or any cooking instrument. The internet access was buggy and slow (advertised as high speed internet access)
The room smelled bad. Like the sewers. It took a very long time for the heating to heat up the room so it was very cold. No where in the hotel to check my email and near the hotel either.
We were impressed with the 1 bedroom apartment which was clean and comfortable and found the staff very helpful throughout our stay. We were traveling on business but had a 6 year old and a grandparent with us. All were comfortable. When we got to the hotel in the evening we found out that our pre-paid reservation made a few weeks earlier was canceled. Once we got to our e-mail it turned out that the problem was due to over-maxing our business credit card which we were not aware of having left a few days earlier and not receiving this information. However the staff was able to put us in a very nice, comparable apartment and at the same price, so the stress was minimal and we appreciate it. There is also a weekend flea market within walk. The hotel has a pretty good connection from the nearby metro station but the distance to airport and central attractions still adds up and walking to Paris attractions is only an option if you have a lot of time. Good location if you are going to the Expo grounds right by the hotel but not if you want to spend as much time as possible in the centre of Paris. Not much happening nearby in the evenings though.
The design and comfort of the room It took the staff three days to find my reservation and when they did they wanted me to move to another hotel. The logistic of the hotel was a mess.
close to Porte de Versille exhibition centre and large rooms
Conveniently situated to Porte de Versailles...four people fitted comfortably...good well equipped kitchen...good apartment...would stay there again That the room we had booked wasn't ready till the day after we arrived so we had to stay in a different room and pack and repack all bags when we were very pushed for time...we had been assured both 3months prior and the week before arriving that a double room would be available on arrival late in the evening...but it wasn't...so we were shunted to different separate rooms for the first night....
very close to Paris Expo, also to Aqua city. No room service for daily cleaning, not explaining how to clean the garbage
Good service, stqaff and facilities
It was convenient for me since my work was very close to the hotel The rooms were not cleaned daily. I had to pay Euro 26 for getting the rooms cleaned everytime.
It is easy and fast to reach the city center by metro. It was great to have a terrace attached to our room. list price was relatively high, however we had great discount.
I juist came home from Paris and I stayed 4 nights in this hotel together with a friend. I can really recommend it! There are nice rooms, the internet is easy to access and the staff can speak English! Well most of them anyway. Also you could store your luggage there for free, after you checked out.
Clean and comfortable, maybe a bit noisy on the road sise. But you can get rooms at the back, which will be quiet. Bathroom looking a bit tired.
Hotel is located only 2 metro stops from Exhibitions Center (10 min) and approx. 15 min. ride to Orly Airport. (20 euros by taxi) Reception stuff speaks good English and helpfull. Wifi signal is strong, but very slowly. It can be used only for checking e-mails. In bathroom water did not want to drain down in drain hole, except if waited for 10 min. There were only French channels available in TV in my room.
Parking available, balcony, tea making.
They gave me a room even if I arrive at 14h. I enjoyed the small fitness room.
200 m from Metro station and bus terminus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Banks, shops, and restaurants in easy walking distance.
Ok accommodation and breakfast. But not great value for the money. No
room, receptionist, environment, hotel don't have space for four persons
Location is convenient if you need to stay close to the airport. That was within walking distance from terminal, what really was helpful due to taxi drivers strike that shut all transportation fro and to terminal. Not worth the value. The room was overheated and no way to cool it down. I couldn't sleep well waking up sweating. Staff admitted the problem but didn't even try to solve it. I general I can't really say that staff is unfriendly, but they are kind of distant? Don't really interested to help, it looks like they just don't care. Another example that they don't care about customer convenience is that You can't leave a luggage for safety between the checkout and time you need to leave for your flight.
The Concierge was extremely helpful, otherwise not up to the normal Hilton standard Cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast, nasty stains on the couches in the reception area! The faux wooden flooring in the bedrooms is very noisy. No refrigerator in the room.
Convenient location Orly Airport Helpful staff Broken heating - too hot Room generally shabby
Location The bedrooms are old (poorly furnished) an the bathroom is not of a 4star hotel.
Proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus Strong smell of tobacco in my non smoking room. Very overpriced room!!!
The room was very nice and large. The breakfast buffet was very good and the proximity to Orly was a real assett as it allowed us to have a relaxing time before a long flight
quick check-in, big rooms, fast elevators, poor breakfest, too expensive internet
A pair of bathroom slipper
Proximity to the airport and shutle bus No minibar in the room
The staff, Paying for Internet
It was clean and the staff were helpful. The menu was limited and the charges for the food, both in room and out, were outrageous.
Good romm. Good brekfeast.
The dinner buffet and the breakfast selection are quite excellent! I did think it was quite clean and I loved my room. I wish all the hotels I stayed at were as well-maintained as here. I spent so little time here I didn't notice anything that went negatively.
The hotel is excellent but not good for the tourists who wants to go to paris centre because it cost you big money and time to move to paris centre.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. The shuttle bus from the hotel runs frequently (every 20 minutes) and was quick. The hotel itself was amazing for the price - exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Orly.
Very clean, friendly staff, all staff spoke very good english.
Check in and check out was fast, the shuttle bus was on time. Don't have much to say since I stayed only for 5 hours. The shuttle bus was a bit ahead of time when we arrived in the airport and was waiting for a pick-up to the hotel, so we missed one and had to wait for another 20 minutes.
Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business. The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
Room, shuttle service was excellent, staff elevators frequently out of service
Breakfast was delicious Be pulled to secure the value of the room and not taken it back only after two weeks means twice the amount
proximity to airport.courteseous staff.
a big variety of breakfast , people are friendly, helps you out if you need help, fridge was closed with key ( you have to pay for minibar ) / Tv channels was very less.
Shettle to the airport. Friendly staffs, hotel quiet, Room clean and large. The room was fairly cold when arriving, did not have time to check if the heating system was on or off, same thing with the bathroom.
near the airport with free shuttle service no porters and bell boys and front desk should tell guests that they must use room key for elevator use
Location was pretty good, a convenient few metro stops away to central city Paris. Wi-fi available in the room. We had to go to reception and asked for toilette paper as the housekeeping staff didn't replenish the ones we've used up the previous day.
Comfortable bed and bed linen I asked reception at 8.15 to call me a taxi for 8.45 departure. Waited in lounge in front of reception from 8.40 to 8.50. When I evetually asked the same person at reception what had happened to my taxi he told me that he had forgotten to call them. As a result I was 30 mins late for my meeting. incompetent and unacceptable.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also the hotel is conveniently situated close to the central station and is only one metro away! The hotel staff were also very friendly and spoke english :)
All of the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, room had air conditioning. The twin room was a little on the small size, bedroom door or wardrobe door could not open fully.
Position for business purpose
Hotel was peaceful and comfort. Area where hotel lie was also nice. A little too far away from city centre.
Location and beating France!!! Breakfast was a bit limited
The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is not bat at all. It is in a nice area and only a few minutes drive from the Tower and other attractions. There is a supermarket across the street, and a restaurant next door (were you get the hotel's breakfast a better price!). The night shift receptionist was kind enough to call and order pizza for us (we don't speak French)...Very nice staff! The hotel doesn't offer parking, but will sell you a ticket to park your car in a nearby parking lot behind a gas station...the only problem with that is that the parking is only open until 10 pm. It also an open air parking lot so I don't know how secure it is...nothing happened to our car, though.
Accessable location. Frienly staff. Good value for money
Fairly basic - but warm, quiet and clean with helpful staff and perfect for an economical overnight stay for a business traveller with a local meeting the next day. Metro only a short, safe walk away so also okay for tourists exploring central Paris. Breakfast a bit basic - but I'm not complaining at the overall price. Hotel could perhaps do with having an information sheet/map showing local eating options as you have to explore a bit to find nearby restaurants - of which there's a good range when you do find them !
everything was neat, the staff was amaizing. everything we were expecting. The dinner food at the restaurant.
close to rail station when I asked for extra blanket in my room there were none available even though they offer a 15 minute satisfaction guarantee. Also I asked for a taxi and was charged a reservation fee on my credit card.
Polite desk staff. She was very helpful with accommodation and directions to get about, spoke English.
Staff very helpful, very close to porte de versailles convention centre, bathrooms brand new. Rooms very small...but thats Paris!
metro station / tram nearby (5 min walk) Superior room booked but only standard room received, room was very small, poor heating facility in room and bathroom, quite old furniture, slow internet connection, all in all not very comfortable and inviting (incl. lobby and Breakfast room), Hotel is in my point of view max 2stars), and not worth the exorbitant high room prices when a booking for a room is e.g. done 1-2 weeks before arrival.
Hotel located within walking distance of Porte de Versailles exhibition hall. Lots of restaurants and 2 metro stations nearby. Room was cleaned everyday. Booked room for 2 person and room was extremely small. The air conditioner was broken and therefore had to request to change room. Was given a room but not a smoking room that had requested earlier on.
rooms very small as ,not the true value of money
close to transport not enough parking spaces
No parking spaces in the car park.
Staff extremely helpful, quiet and convenient
Excellent location for parc de expositions. Friendly helpful staff
friendly staff who spoke good english
Clean, comfortable. We hear the sound of lift from our bed room all the time as it located next our room.
It was good None
restaurant portions were very small for the cost. i think the neuvo quisine approach should be abandoned and larger portions offered.
Staff welcoming, hotel clean and tidy and restraunt meal was excellent
Perfect for short familly trip.
Kind hotel Staff, very good, wifi, a nice large clean room, well designed working desk. The location of Hotel is perfect for my purpose(business). It is an expensive hotel but you've got what you paid for, and I think with the same price you get a lot smaller room in the center of Paris usually.I also like the fact that they have smoking room as smokers tend to be discriminated more and more (and at the same time no smell of cigarette at all in the another area The water tmperature of bath and shower is set on 38 degree which wasn't hot enough for me and it can be colder but not hotter. Also the room temprature wasn't warm enough for me to work at night although it may be a good temperture to sleep. I tend to feel cold so for the most of people it would be ok, but I'd prefer to be able to make it warmer(there is a controller but I couldn't make it warmer at night time)
Windows were open 1cm and nailed there! the room was on a main road where the noise did not abate and we couldn't close the windows!
Nothing I found the staff to be extremely rude, the linen in the room smelt disgusting even after changing the linen it was still terrible, my pre-arrange tax service was always late causing us to almost miss our cruise dinner, my wake up call from the hotel was 30mins late, the food menu was terrible and the food was not great either & i would never reccommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff very friendly and the free internet in the room.
The Key was delivered without the room number or any information. The bath room seems be inside of roullotte. Seems like a motel for speedy rooms. Car parking extremely expensive.
Most of the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. We liked the fact that the hotel was pet friendly.A perfect hotel for stop overs on a long journey. The room temperature was good, not hot and stuffy like some hotels can be. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
Rooms are clean and comfortable The staff wasn't helpfull. My car window is broken due to theft. I asked the receptionist for tape and plastic. They told me they don't have transparent plastic. That's ok. So I asked for some tape which I can take away. Because it's was sunday and all shops are closed. She still refuse to give me that plastic tape to take away even If I pay for it!!!!!
yes, a short business stay no
The room have near 20mt and with one double bed and one sofa. They don't have free internet, like is show in booking. The staff don't speak english only french.
Internet doesn' t work
Excellent check in staff and they were quick to resolve the issues concerning the 3rd bed in the room. Parking was affordable and easy, and the hotel is wonderfully near a metro station. Breakfast was a bit pricey but there are cafe Rooms are small for 3 beds but probably larger than most Paris hotels of this price. The extra bed initially provided was inadequate but quickly replaced.
While I only stayed 1 night, I found all of the staff very friendly and helpful I would reccommend the hotel to other business travellers No
Hotel was convenient for a festival we attended. Room very comfortable and plenty of space for a Parisian hotel (albeit non-central). Area quiet, parking on streets nearby a real plus.
good size balcony, free use of mini bar fridge, big coffee cups, seperate toilet/bathroom, cordless kettle
Friendly stuff, nice hotel in general. At the beggining we were given room 407 with mold and a smell of it. But friendly stuff changed it for us for a clean one.
A very nice and comfortable hotel in the Paris Boulogne area. It was quiet and great for a good nights rest.
the hotel is modern and confortable; the staff very kind , helpful and efficient
Incredibly friendly & efficient staff, helpful with directions and local knowledge No bad points
The hotel is very convenient for the event we were attending at Longchamp. Staff at reception are very helpful and all have good English. Rooms are clean and airy.
after reading 1 poor review I was apprehensive but need not have worried as I could not fault the staff or the hotel or the breakfasts. All were excellent. The friendly efficient staff in all departments.
I did not like the fact that they charge the credit card immediately upon booking which was totally wrong in spite of their conditions. I did not like the fact that they do not allocate rooms as per your requirements but as you arrive so we ended up having a smoking room when I had required a non-smoking. For the price we paid we had more facilities in other hotels than the Mercure.
It was close to the festival site which made the event even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast price was high for what was on offer
Good hotel for business. Metro not to far but long way from City centre and train station. Additional charge for Internet and extra for VPN capability, in this day and age Internet should be included at no extra charge.
very overpriced for a fairly basic hotel - especially compared to similar priced hotels nearby
Clean, Good location, Bathroom, Bar, Breakfast, Lobby area.
Clean, comfortable, modern, close to Metro, restaurants and shops. Some staff need to be a little less rude and agro. Some extra english language channels on TV would. Wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room would be good - you are in France after all and a glass of wine or two is mandatory. Room service was a little flaky (breakfast included croissants and pastries on day one and dry, stale bread by day four for the same order).
A good, clean hotel with friendly staff at a good location
Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area of Paris yet has a number of restaurants nearby and train and Metro services are a short walk away. A number of local bars and restaurants unfortunately close for the weekend.
great food small, old rooms twin beds renovation going on (paint fumes, dust, etc.)
My overal experience was outstanding. We were treated with such kindness and respect and everyone went our of their way to help us with our questions and needs. The room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I especially loved that the hotel accomodiated my request to have an adjoining room with my colleague. The location was perfect as well. We found transportation easy to reach with the bus across the street and the metro just a 5 minute or so walk. It was close to restaurants, banks, and convienient shopping. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. It would have been nice to be closer to the center of Paris, but the metro and bus took us their quickly and for less than 2 Euro.
Loved the beautiful hotel. Staff was wonderful & room was perfect
Location. Was close to airport for next day early flight. Free shuttles Sheets were itchy. They only gave one individual sized water bottle per room even if you have two people. An extra bottle would be 3€. Our room was not prepared well. There were no soap in both hand soap or body wash dispenser. We were also only given two bath towels. There were no hand towels. All in all, I don't think this room was worth its price of 187€ per night.
the staff very friendly, the room very clean and comfortble a little far from the Metro
The room was comfortable, large enough for family with 3 small children. There is Monoprix supermarket nearby, and halal restaurant just infront of the hotel, very practical. The kitchen was well equipped as well. Parking was a bit expensive (Euro 15 per day). But it was 60 Euro for one week. We stay for 5 days and end up paying 75 Euro. I was asking to have the parking for 1 week (so it'll be cheaper) but the receptionist coldly said it's impossible since i actually only stay for 5 days..:-(
Room, Price Charging me upfront, location
value for money hotel with supermarket and bus stop nearby
The receptionist (Sabine) was very helpful and accommodating. Distance from the Metro
Large appartments with well equipped kitchen. Quiet place 15 min from the metro station Port d'Orleans. Good place to stay for a family.
The hotel was new and facilities provided good Not really, Metro about 10 mins walk, but bus is outside.
We will recommend your hotel, because we think you have to learn of the things that people you tell. It is a learning process. breakfastroom is too small and they did not fill quickly the bread, cheese etc. and didnot clean quickly enough. They cannot see if there is something wrong in the parking. We stock there between two doors and nobody saw of heart us and no one took the telephone when we were calling for help. They didnot response at pressing on the red button in the garage.
The place is nice and there was enough to eat for breakfast. €15 for the parking was not too much for Paris
New facilities, not too far from Paris, in superb conditions for guests Open only for 3 weeks, the service lacks professionalism yet and information contradictory many times. No one told us ahead of time that the room will not be cleaned for the 3 nights of stay...and staff did not know about restaurants around. Big groups of students, teenagers, took control over the breakfast area for the 2-3 hours in the morning and hardly anyone could eat breakfast at that time
