Pros: Beautiful hotel, spectacular views.
Pros: Offered free coffee and amazing views and experiences.
Pros: Room. Patio. View. Peaceful area.
Cons: Restaurant servers not so friendly- everyone else was though!!!
Pros: Dawn the masseuse was great! Really helped work on the areas I wanted targeted. Perfect way to finish our stay.
Pros: Very friendly staff and nice view. They front staff is always trying to make you the happiest customer, the minute you arrived
Cons: No microwave in the room for the amount of money you spend for a luxury room. Has nothing to warm your own food It need a microwave
Pros: The ocean view rooms and balcony were amazing. The wine reception and the wonderful restaurants. The fire warmer sitting areas outside were so nice with the view of the ocean. Beautiful resort type setting and so close to home. We will be back for sure.
Pros: Great view of the bay; hot tub and pool were aptly positioned to sit, soak, and look out at the bay. Complimentary Wine and cheese hour was a nice touch.
Cons: Not much to do off the hotel site.
Pros: Beautiful rooms with great views! The bar/lounge has great outdoor seating with fire pits, perfect for relaxing outdoors. Love this place!
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Very Good Restaurant. Good Location.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of
Pros: The room was very bright, the bed was comfortable, the deck was charming, and the entire property was lovely. The hotel was also very clean, and we enjoyed the wine & cheese each night.
Cons: We didn't like the restaurant-- the food was not very good. Instead, we drove to River's End in Jenner. Also, we were shocked that they charged $4 for a glass of milk for our 20-month-old's bottle. Crazy!
Pros: Beautiful location, quaint, relaxing. Great restaurant and pub with fire pit on property.
Cons: Walls not sound proof enough.....heard other folks late at night. Could hear next door going to bathroom.....also lots of little kids running around screaming outside our room....
Pros: The room was fabulous and so was the view of Bodega Bay!
Cons: The room was very expensive.

Pros: Hotel has superb, remote location with fantastic views of the shore. The common areas are great with lots of activities for young and old. The food served is good. Staff is friendly.
Cons: Standard rooms are a bit small. On the second day our room wasn’t serviced when we returned to the hotel in the evening. We asked for the room to be serviced. When going to bed we discovered that cleaning had only been done very superficially and that a glass had been broken. There were glass pieces all over the carpet. The next morning we complained about this and the hotel apologized. Nevertheless, this shouldn’t happen, especially not for the rate we paid.
Pros: Super pretty and hipster vibe
Cons: No hot tub, expensive and odd inconsistent food. No food store near by. Cleaning crew not diligent. They left trash in our room and didn’t restock food.
Pros: We loved the view. It was a perfect getaway. It was our second stay. The restaurant is marvelous and the staff terrific!
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: Cool atmosphere. Great food.
Pros: Liked our room. Loved the location. The oysters and fish were delicious. Hiking around the property was wonderful. The sunset was perfect. Liked being able to bring our dog.
Cons: Meals were so-so...some items were just terrible: the morning omelette, tough eggs, unsalted/unseasoned, and full of mushy leftovers, the Little Gem Caesar salad that only had a few pieces of brown Little Gem lettuce and the rest radiccio and frisee...bitter and not a Caesar. I feel like there should have been a hot tub somewhere, and was surprised that there wasn't. The price we paid was over $700 for a double queen room, and it just wasn't worth that. Plus we paid a pricey dog fee.
Pros: The property is very beautiful. We met two return guests that had gotten married on the property. Dogs were allowed. The location is right on the coast.
Cons: They were having a bad night because their computer went down so they lost out dinner order. After an hour of waiting and being told it was on its way they said it was lost. They were kind and took $20 off our bill for the inconvenience. The room was well decorated, however, they did not have (or we could not figure out) the A/C. It was unseasonably hot during our stay. We were on the first floor so leaving the slider open was a little scary and buggy.
Pros: Food was amazingly fresh and wonderful, a totally relaxing environment!
Cons: It can only be improved if I could have stayed longer..
Pros: The location was absolutely beautiful with views of the sea and fabulous place to watch the sunset.
Cons: I liked everything.
Pros: Its stunning location, the architectural design, the opportunity to kick back and soak up the coast.
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Great site, room, food in the restaurant is great.
Cons: Many staff issues.
Pros: Friendly and courteous staff. Matched with warm and great accommodations.
Cons: Keep doing what the Timber crew is doing!
Pros: Dinner was excellent. Breakfast very good. Bartender was very nice and made excellent coffee drinks. Room was very clean and comfortable. Enough towels to use. Bathroom and shower were large and clean. Staff were all very nice. Loved the record player.
Cons: Price a little high for the room. Had a smoker next door, on the deck, who woke us up with the cigarette smell early in the morning. Would have appreciated one extra movable seat or chair in the room.
Located in Monte Rio, Rio Villa Beach Resort is a 1-minute drive from Northwood Golf Club and 7 minutes from Johnson's Beach.
Pros: The views are amazing, can't take my eyes off the lovely views. Comfy 2 bedroom villa. Well-managed place.
Cons: If only there was a jacuzzi or little pool. There was a recent name change of this property and it confused us in locating it.
Pros: The bed was outstanding.
Cons: No screen door, one more portable Webber. That's a small thing in the big picture because while waiting to cook my girlfriend and I had conversations with some of the nicest people.
Pros: Patio with Russian River view, fireplace in the patio.
Cons: Breakfast can be better!!!
Pros: Stunning location. Not far from San Francisco and yet tranquil, chilled and idyllic. We arrived late and yet were welcomed warmly, professionally and well orientated.
Cons: Just wish we’d had more time here.
Pros: I truly enjoyed the recently renovated simple room but very functional right at a garden with an outside table and a view after the garden on the river. There is a barbecue outside and seating it’s very quiet at least a room we were in which is room 12 the California king size suite the mattress was very comfortable which is very important to me as well Kayaks for rent in just two minutes walking distance only 17 minutes from the beach we will definitely come back. We had two dogs and they really loved it only five minute walk away is a dog friendly beach plus they loved blind beach on the coast line which is also dog friendly
Cons: Actually I liked everything about the property
Pros: I like the quiet and the beauty. The management was pleasant and effective. My dog was pleased to have all that area where he could walk.
Pros: owner and staff were gracious, helpful, friendly the deck was lovely and will have a really nice view of the river once the shrubbery is pruned. there's a beach by the river (though it's currently a bit of a mess due to heavy rains)
Cons: the 2 bedroom unit (#10) was tiny, and the bathroom lilliputian, We were 2 adult couples, small to average size, and we were squeezed in. There was no sitting area in the space, and the second bedroom had no storage space AT all, not even under the bed. There were NO hooks for towels.
Pros: Staff very nice and helpful. Garden was very cozy. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Futon was very uncomfortable and it was loud in the room from the cars passing by on the road. The blankets on the bed were not freshly cleaned. Not worth the +$200 price tag for the night.
Pros: The bed was exceptionally comfortable which is often hard to find when you stay places. Karen, was also very welcoming and helpful
Cons: nothing really.
Pros: Room was fairly comfortable. Mattress sagged in the middle a bit though. Good location
Cons: Sadly disappointed. Check in associate was not friendly nor engaging. Fellow guest got locked out and no one was available for them yet it was during the time someone was to be at property...545pm. Continental breakfast was bad...and out of most items at 820a. Maybe the owner was out of town?
Pros: My favorite part was the kitchen second only to the river right outside the door. Loved the little patio and may have to come back in the summer.
Cons: I would like a writing table or TV table to write on. Otherwise, the room was comfy. There were also children there who played with our dog which was cool!

A hot tub and sauna are also accessible for guests to use at the hotel. A sunroom is situated inside of the hotel for guests to enjoy, while a BBQ area is also provided for guests who would like to enjoy a cookout.
Pros: The hot tub on our private patio had a great view both of the ocean and the brilliant stars. Chris and Alicia are warm, helpful hosts.
With a stay at Bodega Bay Inn in Bodega Bay, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Children's Bell Tower and Bodega Dunes. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Super chill vibe from the Front Desk guy - calling to see when we will be arriving - then leaving a note on the door to tell us how to check in. Super cool!!
Cons: Skylights!!! Dear GOD, please let us sleep until after 5AM!
Pros: Good sized room and bed. Balcony and lounge area.
Cons: Would have preferred the tea and coffee making facilities in the room rather than in the kitchen across the car park. Should have had a 1st floor room. Mold in the shower. Having to pay 100% at time of booking (3 months in advance in our case).
Pros: I loved how friendly the staff was and it was great that there was a common area with coffee, games, movies, and a full kitchen. The room was clean and decent sized for my husband and I. It was right in the heart of Bodega Bay so we were close to everything which was a big plus!
Cons: I wish they would inform you in advance that the room you're staying in is pet friendly. It's great for people who want to travel with their furry little friends NOT SO GREAT for people who don't travel with pets to share the same room!
Pros: Staff was friendly but there was no clock in the room.
Pros: The room was huge, with floor to ceiling windows. Lovely!
Cons: The bathroom was dated, and the shower head small with insufficient pressure.
Pros: The staff was as good as it gets. Friendly and Proficient! Room was clean and in good shape.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Room was nect to the shared kitchen was noisy..
Pros: The location was good. The room was nice, not "exceptional", but nice. The man checking us in had to vacuum a little before we settled in. I don't know if they were short on help. The grounds and flowers were pretty.
Cons: What I do like is having breakfast at the hotel, but none was offered. There was a "communal" refrigerator and a common room where you could get your coffee, hot chocolate, tea. Those things were not in the room.
Pros: Free bottle of wine for our Anniversary
Pros: Location and their sun room with the always filled coffee pots.
Cons: The TV was much too small for the largeness of the room so one could not sit in bed and see it real well.
With a stay at Village Inn & Restaurant in Monte Rio, you'll be steps from Russian River and a 3-minute drive from Northwood Golf Club. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We came for a getaway weekend but had never been to the area before. The Village Inn was a great hub for visiting wineries in nearby Forestville and other locations around Sonoma County. We were so impressed with our meal when we arrived Friday night, that we ended up coming back to the inn for dinner on Saturday night versus somewhere in a neighboring town. The staff was sweet and accommodating. We will happily return for another visit! Everything that came from the kitchen was beyond amazing and so fresh. Our room was on the tiny side, but a great place to use for spending the night as we were not intending on spending much time in the room.
Pros: The location
Cons: Seems a little run down. They should clean the spider webs on the restaurant deck and give it a good paint job.
Pros: From the moment we arrived and checked in the guy was super nice and made us feel welcome. Our river view was amazing and our breakfast was wonderful and the service outstanding. We will be coming back to stay at the Village Inn.
Pros: The view was awesome on the river. And the breeze from the river was wonderful. The patio overlooking the river was wonderful also.
Cons: Room lighting.
Pros: The Inn sits on The Russian River which provides peaceful scenic views. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Food, bar, view, friendly, ambiance, hot shower, fine bed, good continental breakfast, easy parking, location.
Cons: Small shower in the studio room.
Pros: The host was warm and hospitable. She made an exception and welcomed my family from Holland to stay at the Inn. She assigned them two rooms with direct riverfront views. They woke up to the flow of the Russian River, which was both calming and mesmerizing, as it winded by a backdrop of hillside redwoods and fleeting fog. The lower grounds with the white gazebo were rustic and charming. You can tell the love of the property through the details and high standards that this host and her husband placed in the historic inn and restaurant. Morning breakfast consisted of coffee and fresh baked pastries. Will definitely return.
Cons: Wish there were more rooms available.
Pros: They ugraded our room just because she wanted to. The room was large and cozy. Continental breakfast was served in the dining area. They’ve recently been victims of the Russian River flood and the lower level rooms are in need of renovations. The river view is beautiful and although they have suffered repeated floods over the years they seem to take it in stride. Luckily we had brought a lot of food with us since the restaurant wasn’t open yet. It’s a big rambling building of a certain age. Don’t look for perfection here.
Pros: The room was great. Awesome view of the river. Very quiet.
Pros: Easy check in, clean room with nice view of the river.
Cons: Too quite. Dull. This is a small facility, although well kept. Dinner was good but continental breakfast was a let down with NO BREAD, just boiled eggs, milk, coffee, orange juice, frozen cake, cereal and some fruit without banana. No cold water or ice. Room had WiFi and a modern tv but not had quality and the remote did not allow for adding Chromecast or firestick to the TV

Pros: Nothing it was a horrible experience and I want my money back
Cons: I don’t like that the beds were uncomfortable myself and my family got bit by bugs. The tv was so old and outdated that u could barely see what was on the screen. The windows barely open and there was no ac. The shower never got hot. The room smelt of mold. The staff there was to much of a language barrier that we couldn’t communicate
Pros: Bottle of wine in the room and the great view
Cons: Very strong smell of bug spray
Pros: Pool, free breakfast,
Cons: noisy in the evening. And had to keep windows open because of no air. Was expecting a balcony that was advertised but didn't exist. Bathroom tub would not drain.
Pros: Very beautiful grounds to walk around in. Great view.
Pros: Views and location was perfect. Room was good size and the pool and hot tub was fantastic.
Pros: The location of our room was on the hilltop and quiet with scenic views of the bay/harbor. The room was upstairs and spacious with fireplace (rm 1408). Good parking. Complimentary bottle of wine! Breakfast was delicious and again complimentary. Bloody Mary's delicious and spicy. Their market had gourmet foods, breads, fresh seafood, and a variety of wines. Relaxing hot tub and heated pool was very nice amenity after day of exploring the area. The restaurant was really good. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal. Lots of exploring. We drove south down the coast and found another amazing restaurant Nate's Cove in Marshall, CA. Well worth the stop!
Cons: No outdoor balcony, but some downstairs units had them. I would have liked to have access to a mini fridge in room. No elevator but not a deal breaker-don't throw out your back with heavy baggage.
Pros: The view of Bodega Bay is beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The dining room seemed a little outdated.
Pros: The beautiful views and the proximity of the restaurant. Also, thank you for the complimentary wine.
Cons: The parking was kind of tight and we weren't sure where to go to get ice, snacks, etc. we arrived very late.
Pros: The weather, it rained which was beautiful and then the sun came out. The flowers are pretty on the grounds but the ladders, old pots, handyman supplies in the dirt along the driveway is ugly.
Cons: So much, no robes as advertised, no mini frig. They leave a complimentary bottle of Chardonnay but you can't chill it. The staff are rude, the manager does not care, repeated that she was not worried when I expressed how worried I was. AWFUL!
Pros: The terrace & view of the Bay.
Cons: The restaurant had very poor service.
Pros: The view was the best. The spa was in great shape, fully functional and well maintained sauna and jacuzzi. The grounds were well groomed... The maids were great... we drink a lot of coffee and with 4 persons, got extra towels and shampoo and coffee from the staff quickly and with friendly support. Rooms were quiet. I'd definitely return. Photo is the moon setting over the bay at sunrise, overlooking the spa from the room. Local restaurants were fantastic, and not far away. The public beaches were... expressions of nature's best work.
Cons: The staff was very helpful directing me to the nearest ice machine... which was gone. However, keeping my wits about me, I realized all the buildings were identical and the next one had a functional machine... so, no real problem, just a momentary disappointment. Then the breakfast... not available at the hotel... had to trek across the street... not that big a deal. But the offered discount at the Tides restaurant... compared the yelp ratings to the other local restaurants and I chose to spend my money on more value with a few minutes more in the car, rather than take a chance on disappointment. Perks proved worthless in this case. Noticed a hole in the screen in the window in the room... turned out the casement window crank was partially broken, the hole was a feature to enable closing the window, not a bug... a small thing, but still. The slow decline of even first class accomodations in the USA... is present here too.
Pros: Beautiful property in need of an update. Great location.
Cons: Bathroom needs updating, toilet didn't work properly, one window was stuck closed, lighting a bit old. Just needs an update to maintain a good score. Would be nice if they had the option of a stall shower. Not sure what the demand for tubs is these days.

Pros: The man working the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The rooms were a little dated. They are still clean and comfortable.
Pros: We loved the location, excellent water views from both the window and sliding door.
Pros: location was perfect----close to the beach
Pros: The room was very spacious and beautiful. Nice view of the ocean. Lovely fireplace and great hot tub.
Cons: The beds weren’t very comfortable. The hot tub is only open till 9 pm, that’s no fun.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had many different options and they were constantly bringing in new food.
Cons: They have upgraded the rooms but overall exterior of facility is old and dirty.
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Our room was probably the worst one on the property.....noisy, view was partially obscured. The whole place is in need of as extreme makeover.

Cons: The bed
Pros: Bed was comfy and nice sized rooms
Cons: Bathroom tile was not done well. Grout missing.
Pros: The inn keeper..he took excellent care for us....Very pleasant people

With a stay at Bodega Harbor Inn in Bodega Bay (Old Town), you'll be steps from Bodega Harbour and 9 minutes by foot from Sonoma Coast State Park.
Pros: It's a cute little place for the price. Would have loved to have gotten something a little bigger.
Cons: The cleaning person did not come clean our room while we were out
Pros: Picturesque little place with great staff. Cozy, comfy room. Good continental breakfast and lovely garden in which to enjoy it.
Pros: Nicki at front desk is great. Very, very clean rooms. Hospitable cleaning staff. Comfortable beds. TV should be up higher to see when in bed. Perfect location for everything.
Cons: Only wish lawn area was dry in the morning to sit on lawn chairs for relaxing with morning cup of coffee. Pillows too soft. Also rooms need an overhead fan to clear the air.
Pros: Such a beautiful location and very clean and lovely size room (bigger than we were expecting). Really lovely staff. The bed was so comfortable and my husband is 6 foot 8 and had the best night sleep (which was very needed after a long drive). Would come back again!
Cons: Nothing it was perfect.
Pros: Cozy room and well-maintained grounds with a nice view of the bay! Continental breakfast was a good start to the day.
Pros: Great location, wonderfully comfortable Adirondack chairs outside overlooking the bay. Cozy comforter. The TV is small. Very clean room and site. Nice soap. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: The space is tight. There's only one mirror and it's in a very small bathroom, which made it hard for two people to get ready at once. We're happy to reuse towels, there should be more bars or hooks. The pillows are lumpy, the mattress ok.
Pros: Nicki at the desk was wonderful, friendly, capable.
Pros: Had view of the water. Easy access to main highway
Cons: Needs carpeting in the room. Linoleum made for a cold floor. Water not hot for shower. For the money room was small. felt room was overpriced.
Pros: Nice & clean, comfortable, having breakfast on the colourful chairs on the lawn & just off the side of Highway 1
Cons: The only tiny thing I would change is the room was too clinical , a couple of colourful local pictures or photos would finish the room off nicely
Pros: It was super duper clean! Loved the location, it was within walking distance to about 4 places to eat. So the location is wonderful. The owner was very kind! Fairly inexpensive.
Cons: They had mini blinds, but no curtains so when the sun came up my children woke up too.
Pros: Delightful proprietors! Wonderful place, great views, clean!! Super nice, quaint setting. My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised and thrilled with our room and our stay at the Bodega Harbor Inn. We will definitely return.
Cons: That we had more time to have stayed more days!!
Pros: The bed and shower
Cons: not much in the way of facilities
Located in Jenner, Ocean Cove Lodge Bar & Grill is just steps from Salt Point State Park and a 1-minute drive from Stillwater Cove Regional Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. Got a great upgrade to suite with our own jacuzzi. Best value for amazing grounds with spectacular view of the Pacific. The food was good and the staff very good. Really appreciated the owner's hands on approach to satisfying his guests. Best value for a room with sunset views, big community jacuzzi, great on site dining, and the sound of the ocean when you sleep.
Cons: This is an older facility that's under tender care of new management after sitting empty for several years. It's more remote, so Internet was sporadic.
Pros: Ocean view. Hot tub.

Cons: Wish I could afford to stay longer.
Pros: The continental breakfast was very basic but was convenient and fresh. the room had a great view of the river - it was beautiful!
Cons: we were in the milky way room and it was a little weird there were no window covers in the bathroom. other than that the room was perfect!
Pros: The location was perfect Breakfast was excellent. Molly the employee was very nice and helpful.
Cons: the stairs to the cottage, Brambleberry,, could use some improvement The table on the deck is wabley and needs repair. The shower stall with its step down is not very safe.
Pros: Room had hardwood floors, good size bathroom. skylight in main room, would have been very dark without it.
Cons: view of river/ocean blocked by overgrown plants and shrubs. Room stark, no TV or radio. no0 lunge chairs, no outside sitting area, the walkway is old and unsteady. Steep stairs down to room, railing unsteady. Price for room was not worth it. There is limited local restaurant and it was expensive.
Pros: Beautiful view and facilities
Pros: The view was amazing
Pros: The location
Cons: Spiders & spiderwebs around room- not cleaned properly- not acceptable for the price- dirty duvet & broken fireplace/heater
Pros: Beautiful cosy cottage down by the water. Stunning unobstructed views of the river. Well appointed and nicely furnished. We wished we were staying longer. We had dinner in the Jenner in. The food was Simple but delicious the staff very friendly and accommodating. The band were playing the Saturday evening we stayed and they were terrific ! Up the road was a seal nursery which was a real treat to see.
Pros: The location of the Milky Way room was right next to the river. The water lapped below our deck. The room has large windows and two outside sitting areas to enjoy the view...and a soaking tub with the same wonderful view. Staff were friendly.
Cons: There is ZERO cell service, so if you need to stay in touch by phone this may not be the location for you. However, there was WiFi in the room for texting or internet.
Pros: Much more basic than the photographs and description would have indicated. Furniture was old but comfortable. Kitchen furniture was really poor.
Cons: Communication, email and cell service, poor to non-existent.

Pros: I like how it was just everything we needed, not too fancy but definitely not a dump. Had beautiful flowers and maintained very well.

Cons: Broken lock on window.
Pros: We went to play golf
Pros: The flower gardens were beautiful. Very restful setting with Open field & Redwoods in the back. Nice to have the heated pool to do laps

Pros: The property is well maintained and pretty, with all the flowers, pool and lawn area. These folks take pride in their place. We love staying there !!
Cons: No problems-wouldn't change anytghing.
Pros: The air conditioning worked great, and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The toilet rocked around when you sat on it. The hotel looked tired, and could use a face lift.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. A gem along the Russian River.
Pros: It was close to where we needed to be and it had a swimming pool which was very nice.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was very small.
