Pros: The location was really nice and secluded, in the national park. The host was lovely and friendly, she also gave us some good useful tips on visiting around!
Cons: Nothing we did not like. Property was exactly what we wanted!
Pros: One of the nicest experiences I have had in Estonia (maybe even in the world) Eva-Maria is a superb host, very detail orientated and knows how to create an unforgettable stay for her guests. The accommodation is in the heart of a nature park, the rooms are very cosy and full of beautiful details to make the guests feel very welcome. Breakfast, that is made by her, is spectacular. This is more than a five-star experience because Eva-Maria does her job with love and passion and each guest will feel very welcome and special at Adami Talu.
Pros: Cozy, warm and beautifully decorated house, perfect for a couple! Amazing location for nature lovers - river is near the house, woods, national park, sea very close to the accommodation. A lot of birds (there is actually grey partridge living literally at backyard). The host was very welcoming and kind, provided with everything we needed.
Pros: Excellent stay! Highly recommend when you need great getaway to relax! Really gorgeous rooms, fresh flowers every morning, nice garden, etc. And really adorable hosts!
Pros: Staying at Adam's Country Guest House is like being in a fairy tale! Lovely location in rural nature by a river and sea, forest and birdsong. Everything is designed and decorated with pure love by hostess Eva Maria. She is also a truly wonderful chef and her breakfast feasts make you want to spend half a day on their lovely porch, overlooking the garden and just drinking coffee and eating freshly baked goods! Perfect holiday! Thank you so much!
Pros: First time in Estonia. I am so excited about this place. So many birds there;) in love to wake up with sound of birds. Also the sound of small river that is near the house and lot of stones. Very beautiful territory clean and quiet. Very romantic place! For sure I want to stay there more than 2 days in future.
Cons: Need to make a shalf above the kitchen table to get extra space for some goods.
Pros: Amazing smoke sauna and wonderful property
Cons: Nothing! We loved everything!
Pros: Every detail was excellent. Starting with the host and delicious breakfast. Finishing with small details in interior design and welcome coookies.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The toilet was smelling, the smell came to our room. The reception staff (lady with a Russian first name) was arrogant and had an attitude. The SPA has only one swimming pool and one sauna, no other facilities. The restaurant staff was overworked, three waitresses to serve over 70 customers during our dinner.
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: small and crammed room, rather noisy
Pros: We enjoyed all our stay entirely!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Location is good. The surroundings lend themselves to nice evening walks. The food is great (breakfast and dinner).
Cons: Staff needs some training. Bathtub is very awkward to go into.
Pros: Great, luxurious manor... yet friendly. Perfect 10/10 stay
Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Lahemaa National Park, this historic estate is located close to the coast of Northern Estonia, between Tallinn and the Russian border. The hotel offers well-equipped, cosy rooms with all modern amenities, including some with a terrace. All rooms are non-smoking and offer free wireless internet. You can enjoy a wide range of traditional Estonian dishes, as well as game and fowl specialities, in the restaurant and on the summer terrace. Numerous outbuildings together with the estate gardens and ponds, arranged with baroque symmetry in the landscape, make Sagadi an architectural ensemble of national importance. The valuable heritage of the Sagadi estate is the foundation of the modern-day activities of the forest centre. Here you can learn new things about the forest and about nature, enjoy the beautiful countryside, stay in a comfortable hotel, and delight in delicious food in a beautiful environment.
Pros: Beautiful area. Breakfast was really good.
Cons: Tap water and shower wasn't good.
Pros: Lovely location, very comfortable, good food, very good to be able to hire bikes. The manor house and wood museum next door are an added bonus and worth visiting.
Cons: The shower curtain was stained and so should be changed. The first receptionist forgot to tell us she could give us maps of where to cycle.
Pros: Very nice breakfast, room was OK but nothing flash. Rather expensive for the standard. Nice place to wander around, with an apple orchard at the side.
Cons: Considering the cost of the room then some more facilities should be added, ie fridge and coffee making. Room was very basic
Pros: The bed was very comfortable (good, hard mattresses), large room, we enjoyed the manor and gardens very much. Good restaurant on site
Pros: Sagadi Manor is located in Laheema National Park, a place that is ultimately wonderful. However I visited it during a rainy autumn week, it was one of my best experiences in Estonia. The staff is friendly and helpful, the lady at the reception gave me advice where to hike and what to visit, and provided me with maps and a brochure of the national park. They have a large selection of postcards and other things, the manor even has its own wine. General things: the room was spacious and clean, heated well. The breakfast was buffet style, but as they had very few guest, the lady at the reception asked me to fill a pre-order form incl. time of breakfast. They had local fruits, which is well appreciated by me as an environmentalist. The manor has a museum and a really nice park - I hope I will be able to visit during springtime once!
Cons: I had a room on the first floor, the bed was right next to the radiator, right next to my head - it would be better to position the bed in a different angle, eg. rotate it. This is just a minor thing which I only mention for further developments.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Quiet location near lovely country. Very good forestry museum.
Cons: Different background music. More of the photos in the reception hall.
Pros: Friendly service, great food at the restaurant.
Cons: Room needs refurbishment - lot of signs of wear & tear, old looking furniture. Need to brighten it up and refresh.
Pros: The room was perfect. Spacious, comfortable and with a terrace . And such a special historical building . Excellent value. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Lovely eco-cabin and great restaurant food at a very reasonable price and lovely staff
Pros: The owners are really friendly and helpful. The beds are confortables and everything is very clean. The food at the restaurant is excellent !
Pros: Everything was very well prepared for us and we felt very good ; our host gived us many advices and was very kind with us during our stay. We really appreciate having a dinner in the restaurant with many local products. A very recommended establishment!
Pros: The owners were brilliant, really helpful. Gave us lots of information about the area, and picked us up from Viitna bus stop as we didn’t have a car (thanks!). The small cabin was perfect for our stay, very cosy and warm. Plenty of breakfast included and the food at the restaurant was very good, we recommend the cherry pancakes! You can rent bikes for 10 euros, very useful for getting around and a great way to see the park.
Pros: The hosts were so friendly and helpful! Dieter is the chef and our evening meals were superb! Our cabin was compact and well designed....shower was fantastic
Pros: Stayed in small cabins that were nice, clean, cozy. Especially liked the option to have an air conditioner as it was hot. Bathrooms big.
Cons: Bathrooms in a separate building, might put some people off.
Pros: Cosy cabin, beautiful surroundings, breakfast and dinner are very good and friendly staff. Interesting places tot visit are near.
Pros: Very comfortable, facilities nice and clean.

Pros: Great location - super close to fantastic Entu lakes.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Quiet surroundings in the wood. Beautiful nature around.
Cons: No heand soap provided. We had to step into shower every time to reach the liquid shower gel to wash heands.
Pros: Quiet location in the country. Great breakfast.
Cons: Reception was unattended although I had advised a time
Pros: If you like a remote location, it is a great stay in A natural area. It was comfortable and very quiet, perfect for a Quiet night. The breakfast was excellent, but be aware that it’s an Additional charge check.
Pros: Best breakfast we ever had. Not only the pastry from the owner´s bakery, but also the mama style of the whole meal and serving.
Pros: Nice quiet location away from main roads. Hotel was very clean.
Cons: The heating was turned up a little too high
Pros: the country side
Pros: As described...a working farm, so expect to be on a farm. Dogs are friendly if not excitable, though if you don't like dogs blank them and they soon get the message, apparently. An extra special treat as we left was the crafting room, and my daughters got to try the loom, my 8-year old told she was a natural at it!
Cons: During hot weather (as we had) it was hot, though that is true for everywhere...and we should certainly enjoy this warm summer in Estonia!
Pros: Beatiful place on farm, very kind and helpful owner, room clean and well equipt. Value for money is excellent. I can only to recommend.
Pros: Very friendly host!
Pros: Quite easy to find, bed was narrow but comfortable to sleep (soft pillow and mattress). Excellent goat milk and cheese for breakfast.
Cons: Didn't know that we were only provided with products and had to make our own breakfast. Didn't know that we had to share the kitchen area with another family whose things were all over the place when we arrived. Had to start with washing the coffee pot, the same thing happened in the morning. No mosquito net though promised on the web page. (Or the other toilet.) I recommend this place for a bigger group who stays in the two rooms, then it would be an excellent place. A bit uncomfortable for two separate groups.
Pros: The place is beautiful and peaceful surrounded by nature and reflection of proper dark life with herds of sheeps and lambs There are friendly dogs who are too active and could be annoying but the owner told us to say a firm no to the dogs if we don’t want them around and it worked We love pets and we were playing with them as well since we learnt how to say no to them it became very easy and rather well behaved dogs. Would highly recommend a stay at this place
Pros: The accommodation is on a small working goat and sheep farm to it would not suite everybody. If that's what you want it is great.
Cons: Had some difficulty finding the place as it is not very well signposted.
Pros: An incredible location and a great experience into the Estonian Lahemaa park wilde. The must : we've sawn the atelier of our host where she works with the whole and can appreciate her products as well : homemade sausages and goatcheese, soaps and the farmer eggs and milk. An unforgettable stay!
This small and comfortable guesthouse, situated on the oldest street in Rakvere, offers a very central location just 5 minutes away from the town centre. The cosy Katariina Guesthouse features modern rooms, a sauna and a conference room. Downstairs is the à la carte restaurant and bar Katariina Kelder, which offers live music on weekends. The Art Salon next to the reception is open around the clock. Sights in the vicinity of the Katariina Guesthouse include Rakvere’s medieval castle, built in the 14th century by the Teutonic Order.
Pros: Breakfast was nice. In the very old center !
Cons: Noisy night time
Pros: Decent shower and separate bathroom. Very close to the Rakvere castle.
Cons: Bed linen was not adjusted to climate: way too warm for the time. But it was too cold yet not to make use of the blanket. Didn't have a great sleep.
Pros: Clean, quiet, close to city
Cons: Breakfast, shared bathroom and hard beds
Pros: The location of the guesthouse was really good and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good - there was hot and cold buffee and many drink choices. The room was small, but enough for two people. Since our room was on the third floor with only three other rooms, it was very quiet.
Cons: At the beginning of our stay, the room was a little bit cold. The air in the room got very airless and there was no possibility to open the window, so we had to hold our room door open, while inside.
Pros: very nice personal, the room was like I wanted it, good capacity att the internet
Pros: Small and comfortable, low price even for a suite.
Cons: Though the room was clean itself, there was a certain smell, like old cellar, on bathroom. Also furnitures were too old to be on good level, TV did not work...
Pros: Good staff, free wifi, rooms cleans...
Pros: exellent car parking posibilities.
Cons: breakfast can be better!
Pros: Free WIFI, Location right in the center, parking outside, basic breakfast included.
Cons: Could hear the music from the "dancing night" in the restaurant downstairs until late. Beds narrow and not very comfortable.
Pros: Mostly location, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness
Cons: No space in the room for the personal belongings
Set in Kadrina, Kadrina St. Catharine's Guesthouse has a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. At the hostel the rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower. Rakvere is 15 km from Kadrina St. Catharine's Guesthouse. The nearest airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, 87 km from the accommodation.
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Live rat in the kitchen trash; no lights on in or around building when I arrived at 630 pm in the dark. This building is in a fairly remote, rural area. I’m a female traveling solo. Ground floor entrance was locked, no notices posted. The manager had emailed that he could meet me at 8 pm, but I didn’t receive the email before I arrived. I took an outside stairway to the 2nd floor and let myself in; one hall light on. Finding another accommodation without internet access left no options. One of the male workers/tenants came out and called the manager who came by 10 minutes later. Also there were sheer curtains on the women’s large bathroom window; likely could be seen when lights were on. I didn’t shower and slept with the light on (there was a 1” gap under my door which opened into the kitchen and that rat). I didn’t feel safe with an unattended front door.
Pros: Wonderful small guesthouse, cozy and quiet.
Pros: Great peaceful place, very kindle staff , positive feedback!
Pros: Very family friedly.
Pros: Wonderful and very friendly host. We had a very late check in. Everything was great.
Pros: This is one of a kind stay. The simpel, but historical house is part of local Kadina church. There may be Sunday schools and religious afternoon tea parties held by church. And if there is a quiet night you can use all the common space including spacious kitchen and a small library. There is mission second hand store in the house as well. All the rooms are bright and spacious. No tv, no wifi, so you can read or write and forget all the rush. Grocery store is ca 200 m, church yard is next door.
Cons: You better have car to book this place. Kadrina train station is about 1,5 km if you are on a pilgrimage :)
Pros: You share bathrooms, but one (very big) is for women and one for men. But for the price, it's worth it and very few rooms, so it's confortable.
Cons: Amazing special place. Closed to Lahemaa national park. We immediately felt at home. A lots of games for the kids. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Meeting facilities are also available at an extra charge. The hotel is 700 metres from the Rakvere Castle. The Rakvere Train Station is 1.4 km away.
Pros: Service was warm and accommodating, and the bed was so soft and cosy, I had a hard time getting up. The decor in the hallways, lounges and such is a bit dated but the rooms appear to have been updated recently and are clean and modern.. Their associated café across the street was excellent and location is ideal - easy to get to from the highway but practically at the base of the castle hill.
Pros: Clean and quiet place with a good quality of sleep. It's located in center of the town - everything is next to.
Cons: On the second day we had a blackout and discovered that an electricity is used by the hotel for having a hot water. Lighting is weak and it wouldn't be enough if we spent more time in the room. The only warm dish for breakfast is a coffee.
Pros: The location is great. They offered a very nice simple but delicious breakfast. The room was super cosy and pitch black when the curtains were pulled, which guaranteed exellent sleep. The bed and the bedding were of very high quality.
Pros: Bed was comfortable, location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was nice though the variety could have been bigger.
Cons: The room was a bit cold at first (luckily the electric radiator in the room heated the room enough before bedtime). As our room was facing the street, some noises came in during night. There was no lamp above the mirror in bathroom.
Pros: The location in the centre of Rakvere was quite nice. The parking was convenient. Once we got over a communication barrier the staff was fairly helpful.
Cons: The beds were tiny and the room stuffy. The carpet was dirty and stained and the walls quite chipped The funniest thing was that there was an electric tea kettle in the room, but no convenient place to plug it in. We ultimately had to push a bed aside to plug it (and other things in). The breakfast was all cold and quite boring. The most frustrating came because of a power outage. Evidently a breaker switch blew and the power went out. It took about 1.5 hours or more for them to figure it out. In the meantime we needed to leave. It was extremely frustrating that the owner (apparently) was dismissive of our need (as business travelers) for a payment document. She breezed in and out without an apology.

From Monday to Friday, Hotell Wesenbergh features a bistro serving traditional Estonian food during the day. Sights in the vicinity include the medieval Wesenbergh Castle, built in the 14th century by the Teutonic Order, as well as Lahemaa National Park.
Pros: Basic, very clean (new), good breakfast, great location, friendly staff.
Cons: Poor quality TV in the room.
Pros: Hot shower and comfortable bed.
Cons: Beware of additional taxes. If you travel with pet, the tax for a pet is highest all over Estonia.
Pros: Food is good
Cons: Staff additude
Pros: Good location, comfortable

Hostel Sagadi Manor is less than 5 km away from nature trails such as the Ojaäärse Forest Trail. It is a 20-minute drive from Käsmu Village and its seaside attractions.
Cons: Be careful with the prices - on booking.com prices are 50% higher than on spot so I don't recommend to make reservations here. Also be careful with free/paid options in the hotel - on the booking there is a mess and it doesn't reflect the reality.
Pros: I visited early October mid-week. They upgraded me to one of the suites in the hotel for free. Best value :D Super nice room and comfy bed with spotless bathroom and small lounge. If you want to eat here, you're limited to the hotel restaurant which is a little pricey if you're on a tight budget but really little inconvenience. Hostel and hotel located right on the mansion grounds, perfect access for hikes and other attractions in the national park. Superb place to stay.
Cons: No kitchen or kettle.
Set in Kadrina, Kadrina Spordikeskuse Hostel offers free WiFi. Guests at the hostel can enjoy a continental breakfast. Rakvere is 14 km from Kadrina Spordikeskuse Hostel. The nearest airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, 88 km from the accommodation.
Pros: Good and calm place. Clean. Nothing very special to say, but I would stay there also next time.
Cons: Could be added some spoons to coffee cups.
Pros: Big room, easy to get to, very close to the National Park
Cons: Only if you travel by car
Pros: Private entrance, quiet and peachful atmosphere. Clean spacious room. Fridge and kettle in room.

Cons: It was cold in the room at night
Pros: Good silent place. Good choice if you want to stay a night. Close to Rakvere town and to the sea.
Cons: Not so easy to find the hotel if you arrive at night time
Pros: The location is nice and I was able to arrive pretty late. Also the reception is friendly, even though they persisted on filling out the quest Form at my arrival before even showing me my room. Breakfast is recommendable.
Cons: I actually expected something more "Manor" themed. Instead it was a simple Ho(s)tel environment. The heaters, even at maximum could not give out enough warmth and the light switches were confusing. All in all a regular 2 star hotel, too pricy for the region and offered services in my opinion.
