the facilities the room was not very clean and the staff spoke poor English
It is a lovely location and Sukran at reception was extremely helpful Restaurant, bad service, poor quality food, not what is expected from looking at the website. We were looking for wedding venues in Kalkan but will not be considering the Patara Prince now
The Hotel grounds are great! The fact that there are 2 pools, (one kid free especially) is a great added touch. It allow you a quiet place to cool off and relax. The terracing down to the sea is really spectacular & beautiful, with plenty of seaside seating. The shuttle boat to the town is great. And last but not least, the rooms are really big, comfortable and cool. The only wish we had was that the shuttle boat to the town ran later- it ends at 8pm.
when we first arrived they gave us an apart room (dirty, lights at the bathroom were not working, and even no towels) instead of the hotel room we paid for. After asking with a strong voice they told me they made a mistake so we were able to pass to the correct kind (not even totaly correct kind, because two beds for a couple (!) ) of room at 7 p.m. in the evening..
We had a room with a perfect view of Kalkan. We had the opportunity of tasting authentic Turkish cuisine which was served at the hotel for dinner one of the evenings .Swam in the crystal, turquoise, warm sea with no waves,so refreshing! experienced a Haman at the health spa in the hotel, excellent!
Location was fantastic - right on the bay with great views over the sea. Rooms were clean and well fitted out with great views. Shuttle bus into main part of Kalkan was handy and saved Taxi fare into town for dinner in the evening. Staff were not very helpful apart from the manager when we made a complaint about one of our rooms air con. Breakfast was dreadful (apart from the fantastic view) - no orange juice or anything else for non-coffee or tea drinkers - selection of food was poor - sub-standard compared to every other hotel we stayed in in Turkey on this trip.
The hotel manager was very helpful. The beach club is great the pool area is very small
The management and staff could not do enogh to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
View, beach club
View, isolated location, cute room, nice pools, grounds and landscaping, layout of sunning, lounging, "lido" areas, the elderly gentleman who oversees the restaurant. Staff need to be more knowledgeable, a few more shuttle runs to town would be welcome, activities and trips could be organized by the hotel and be more varied, food could be better.
Staff where outstanding nothing
The hotel was very peaceful, the staff cant do enough for you. The hotel is in a lovely setting. This hotel would not be suitable for anyone with any walking, back problems, heart problems as there are an awful lot of steps
Very peaceful in a beautiful setting. Very quiet hotel. Lovely to have only children over 14. The breakfast was excellent - a vast choice to suit everyone. The staff were fantastic Only only thing. We had a large room for my husband, myself and an extra bed was put in for my 16 year old daughter and still had plenty of room, but the bathroom was tiny, although I know that some rooms do have bigger bathrooms.
I liked the fact that the staff did everything they could to help you enjoy your stay No tvs in the rooms!
The staff tried very hard to make our stay comfortable. The location was very pretty amongst mountains with views of the surronding bays. The hotel was very pleasant with a good pool.
Staff - extremely helpful and friendly Hotel very clean Pool & surrounding area excellent Drinks a bit pricey is about all I can think of
We only stayed fot 2 nights but during this brief stay made welcome and staff/environment very pleasant.
Perfect location in the Old Town next to Roman Harbour. Architecturally interesting transformation of Ottoman houses into a boutique hotel. Great atmosphere and lovely cats.
Friendly staff, nice pool, large comfortable room, very clean Solar powered hot water heating meant cold showers on two out of three cloudy days of our stay. Not acceptable in this standard/price hotel. Breakfast would have been more efficiently served buffet style even though season was ending and hotel had few guests.
Hotel was in good location close to harbour and restuarants staff were friendly and helpful Floor of bathroom was constantly wet and slippery because of water leaking from pipe
Everything in walking distance I hate carpets in hotel rooms in hot countries, especially when the rooms are both smoking/non smoking. The smell lingers for days.
The rooms were a little on the small side but very clean, fantastic value for money, I don't think you could get a better location in Kalkan. There are a lot of stairs to the hotel and to the rooms so this should be taken into considaration, we didn't find this a problem but people with buggies etc may do. Breakfast could have been improved, we were staying on a b&b basis and didn't eat at the hotel at night (Kalkan has so many fantastic places to eat).
Hotel room location and view were excellent, pool bar was enjoyable with very good staff.
friendliness sun disappears off pool area around lunch time
freindly staff, good location. good views relaxing holiday. nice town with amenities close by no lifts, no pc with internet, average breakfast, dont like two single beds pushed together would prefer one queen bed. too many english tourists no mix of people
Easy access to all of Kalkans restaurants and shops and the nearby beach clubs. Great views from the pool/terrace. Clean rooms with good air con. Pool area gets busy and some people reserve the best positioned sun loungers early but hardly use them all day (and they were not German).
