It is a lovely location and Sukran at reception was extremely helpful Restaurant, bad service, poor quality food, not what is expected from looking at the website. We were looking for wedding venues in Kalkan but will not be considering the Patara Prince now
We had a room with a perfect view of Kalkan. We had the opportunity of tasting authentic Turkish cuisine which was served at the hotel for dinner one of the evenings .Swam in the crystal, turquoise, warm sea with no waves,so refreshing! experienced a Haman at the health spa in the hotel, excellent!
the facilities the room was not very clean and the staff spoke poor English
when we first arrived they gave us an apart room (dirty, lights at the bathroom were not working, and even no towels) instead of the hotel room we paid for. After asking with a strong voice they told me they made a mistake so we were able to pass to the correct kind (not even totaly correct kind, because two beds for a couple (!) ) of room at 7 p.m. in the evening..
The Hotel grounds are great! The fact that there are 2 pools, (one kid free especially) is a great added touch. It allow you a quiet place to cool off and relax. The terracing down to the sea is really spectacular & beautiful, with plenty of seaside seating. The shuttle boat to the town is great. And last but not least, the rooms are really big, comfortable and cool. The only wish we had was that the shuttle boat to the town ran later- it ends at 8pm.
Location was fantastic - right on the bay with great views over the sea. Rooms were clean and well fitted out with great views. Shuttle bus into main part of Kalkan was handy and saved Taxi fare into town for dinner in the evening. Staff were not very helpful apart from the manager when we made a complaint about one of our rooms air con. Breakfast was dreadful (apart from the fantastic view) - no orange juice or anything else for non-coffee or tea drinkers - selection of food was poor - sub-standard compared to every other hotel we stayed in in Turkey on this trip.
The hotel manager was very helpful. The beach club is great the pool area is very small
View, beach club
The management and staff could not do enogh to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
Staff very helpful Would be very happy to return for a longer stay
everything was funtastic, this hotel must have 5 stars, excellent stuff, excellent service, clean, just go there and stay longer. we booked 1 day and stayed 3 days one of best hotels in our 3 weeks trip in turkey
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. V good with all the kids staying. Lovely clean pool. Food was really poor. However good in the area was not of a great standard with only a couple of restaurants serving really good food.
best swimming pool of any hotel. great breakfast. beautiful view. quality rooms impossible to locate, poor mapping within town. poor parking
The only thing I liked about this place is frienly staff though I've been told that hotel is only 9 years old it looked much older. Actually it is very old. When I just arrived I thought this place is abandoned. Nobody even came to meet me. The breakfast and actually all the food wasn't good at all. It looked like this place been running by a family as the staff even wouldn't wear the uniform. No entertainment was inside the hotel. Actually I got quite bored so left it 2 days earlier..
Very peaceful in a beautiful setting. Very quiet hotel. Lovely to have only children over 14. The breakfast was excellent - a vast choice to suit everyone. The staff were fantastic Only only thing. We had a large room for my husband, myself and an extra bed was put in for my 16 year old daughter and still had plenty of room, but the bathroom was tiny, although I know that some rooms do have bigger bathrooms.
Staff where outstanding nothing
View, isolated location, cute room, nice pools, grounds and landscaping, layout of sunning, lounging, "lido" areas, the elderly gentleman who oversees the restaurant. Staff need to be more knowledgeable, a few more shuttle runs to town would be welcome, activities and trips could be organized by the hotel and be more varied, food could be better.
I liked the fact that the staff did everything they could to help you enjoy your stay No tvs in the rooms!
The hotel was very peaceful, the staff cant do enough for you. The hotel is in a lovely setting. This hotel would not be suitable for anyone with any walking, back problems, heart problems as there are an awful lot of steps
Rooms are quite spacious, modern and comfortable, staff very helpful, location close enough to city centre and also beaches around, great value for money. small hotel with almost no facilities other than the room provided and a basic yet satisfactory breakfast.
The apartment just in the front of the pool was really big and confortable, and the stuff inside pretty new.The hotel was in very quiet area not too far from centre. The conair in the bedroom didn't work. Our room was infested by ants and black beetles, maybe caused by the near garden, and despite we told it to the teenaged boys, they didn't solve the problem.
The Kalkan Park is a lovely family run hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are lovely and clean and the food is exceptional. The hotel is great value for money - we had a traditional turkish breakfast thrown in (cheese, meat, olives, bread and jam) which was fantastic. The hotel is a short walk from the Kalamar Beach Club which is one of the best places to visit in Kalkan. Thoroughly recommended.
Spacious apartment with shared pool. Comfortable and clean rooms.
Good location, new and clean rooms, friendly staff I was given a two bedroom suite but the air con was only functioning in the living room which would have been a problem if I'd stayed any longer than just one night.
It was a brief overnight stay only but the apartment was modern clean and well equiped. The staff were very friendly. We had a lovely breakfast before we left. no
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Very very clean The aircon/ heater wasn't working in the bedroom
The staff tried very hard to make our stay comfortable. The location was very pretty amongst mountains with views of the surronding bays. The hotel was very pleasant with a good pool.
Staff - extremely helpful and friendly Hotel very clean Pool & surrounding area excellent Drinks a bit pricey is about all I can think of
Perfect location in the Old Town next to Roman Harbour. Architecturally interesting transformation of Ottoman houses into a boutique hotel. Great atmosphere and lovely cats.
We only stayed fot 2 nights but during this brief stay made welcome and staff/environment very pleasant.
Friendly staff, nice pool, large comfortable room, very clean Solar powered hot water heating meant cold showers on two out of three cloudy days of our stay. Not acceptable in this standard/price hotel. Breakfast would have been more efficiently served buffet style even though season was ending and hotel had few guests.
Excellent value for money. The hotel room and bathroom were spotless and well kept. Air conditioning was quiet and worked great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Views from the breakfast area was unbelievable as well as from the room terraces. The pool is really large and heated. The location is also nice, away from the noise yet still close enough to walk everywhere. Excellent value There was nothing I didn't like
Situation was peaceful and quiet. Internet access was available in the garden. Pool was peaceful and well kept Room was clean on arrival and cleaned every day when possible (if I wasn't in the room), but bed linen and towels were not changed during the week that I was there.Breakfast-I have been to Turkey many times and expect a turkish breakfast. However, although the food was fresh, it lacked some expected items. Tea was always stewed, no milk, only one type of cheese and no meat item available.
what a fantastic hotel, close to town, staff were friendly
Kind staff, nice view from the terrace, close to the village centre. Possibility to have dinner with fresh fish on the terrace. Bed sheets with couple of holes.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good pool, decent size. We only had lunch not evening meal but the food was good and reasonably priced.
I like the location and the warm friendly good old fashioned Turkish hospitality. I have stayed before and will stay again without hesitation. It is a family run hotel and they make you a part of thier family. I live in Turkey and have no hesitation in sharing its location with friends.
privacy no lift, small balcony
Because of the close proximity to the centre of kalkan is was ideal for the bars and restaurants. The pool is a very good size considering the sevgi is not a large hotel.
Ideal location being about five minutes walk to the village of Kalkan. Good view over Kalkan and the sea from the bedroom and the breakfast terrace. We had cockroaches in our bedroom. The toilet cistern in our bathroom was broken, we had to keep lifting the cistern lid to flush the toilet. Despite me reporting three times it to the management it remained faulty. There were some occasions when we had no water, it seems they turn the water off at certain times. The hotel swimming pool was not very clean.
friendly service, nice breakfast, comfortable
The rooms were a little on the small side but very clean, fantastic value for money, I don't think you could get a better location in Kalkan. There are a lot of stairs to the hotel and to the rooms so this should be taken into considaration, we didn't find this a problem but people with buggies etc may do. Breakfast could have been improved, we were staying on a b&b basis and didn't eat at the hotel at night (Kalkan has so many fantastic places to eat).
Hotel room location and view were excellent, pool bar was enjoyable with very good staff.
Everything in walking distance I hate carpets in hotel rooms in hot countries, especially when the rooms are both smoking/non smoking. The smell lingers for days.
Hotel was in good location close to harbour and restuarants staff were friendly and helpful Floor of bathroom was constantly wet and slippery because of water leaking from pipe
