Pros: We had to leave early and they made us a real nice breakfast for on the road.
Pros: The staff was friendly We got delayed on the road but the owner called and made sure we are still coming although it was abit over the checking in time,&we got welcomed at the gate Overall it was a good stay
Pros: Spacious rooms Air Conditioner and homely sitting for meal Beautiful gardens and lots of trees
Cons: Organized Airport Shuttle
Pros: The location is quite serene
Cons: A little further out of town
Pros: Loved this room. The bed was very comfortable. Shower good and lots of hot water. Food needed to be ordered in advance which we didn’t realise but the owner was very helpful. WiFi was good.
Pros: Friendly staff
Pros: + These small houses look so good!:) + Clean.:) + Air-condition.:) + I could pay with card.:) + Free wifi.:) + Parking closed the door.:) + Garden around.:) + Great breakfast!:)
Cons: - Wifi could be a little better.:) ( But on other side I understand, that it is Namibia and wifi is free.:) )
Cons: The outside should be paved and not sandy as it was
Pros: Very clean room and bathroom, good food
Cons: Only one chair in a triple room. A swimming pool would be a good addition in this climate!
Located in Katima Mulilo, Caprivi Houseboat Safari Lodge is on a river, within a 10-minute drive of Katima Mulilo Stadium and Caprivi Arts Centre. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great boat cruise. Relaxing with a few drinks and the family in such a beautiful place on God’s earth
Pros: Owner ruined any possibility of enjoying anything there!!!
Cons: The worse experience yet. The owner and host is terrible and has an offensive sense of humour. We asked as we arrived if we can find food outside the lodge, restaurant and shop for snacks as we hadn't had lunch as we drove for over 500 klm, and he lied that everything was closed and we had to have a set menu dinner he had prepared, a terrible version of chicken, worse than KFC, and they also forgot to serve us salad and bread. After he realised we were completely dissatisfied, he admitted that there is a restaurant where we had a steak cheaper than that terrible dinner at his lodge, and we found a 24hr super market where we bought the snacks we wanted. And by 22:00, when we got back everything was closed and locked and had to go to our "room"!!! I do NOT recommend this place to anyone!! Too many beautiful lodges around in katima mulilo to waste your time there! We doing a 6 country Southern Africa trip, over 10 properties, this was THE WORSE EXPERIENCE!!

Cons: We had no hot water in our room!
Pros: Location and view
Cons: Limited food selection in dining room.
Cons: Property is run down Maintenance is poor
Pros: At the end, the management made it a nicer stay as they gave us some compensation. The breakfast was good, even better than advertised. Yet the staff was quite unwilling and we set our table ourselves. Hippos were grazing in front of the room in the night. Great experience!
Cons: The pool was dirty, so we didn't want to swim in there. We were experiencing three blackouts during our five day stay. First day 7 hours, second day about the same and on the third day it was several hours again. Our food got rotten in the fridge as there is no backup generator. The staff at first didn't care that we were sitting in the dark. After several visits at the front desk and an e-mail with our concerns the manager (very nice, understanding and helpful person!) gave us a compensation. Still, at the end it was a miserable stay. Especially on Christmas, you want to have a better stay in a hotel called Protea.
Pros: View on the Zambezi river is good although there is a walkway in front of your room
Cons: WiFi was not very good. Glad to have my own mtc router. Hot water took very long to get to the room. Not sure why Marriott attaches its name to it.
Pros: The staff is very polite and well trained. The lady at the reception was very kind and did the best to accommodate all requests.
Pros: Kindly made us packed breakfast for our travel day.
Cons: Evening meals were a bit under-par. Fish on the first night seemed to have come from deep, deep in the freezer having been there for months. Other meals OK, but nothing special really.
Pros: Its all about expectation. It looks like Marriot has bought a pre-excisting facility and is slowly upgrading it to standards which they havent reached yet compared to other Protea facilities, still a lot to improve on the outside premises; rooms are decent and clean, however chamber maid had knocked off so we had to make the bed for kids ourselves; breakfast excellent, starters perfect yet mains horrible; bar and restaurant staff friendly, but certainly not on top of it; 24 hours guard for our car with camping well appreciated; location on Zambezi beautiful;
Cons: See above
Pros: Good service
Cons: The meal menu I saw a snake that ran in front of me, really do something about that, its danger to people’s lives .
Pros: On the river
Cons: I was shocked at how run down it has become over the years!

Pros: The Beds were not comfortable at all. They are Hostel type for Students. But the Linen was very clean. They also did not provide extra Blankets, it was very cold.
Cons: They should change their Beds, not comfortable at all and very low, especially for Adults. The Aircon was not working.
Pros: The friendly, very good customer service from Ann Marie who wekcomed us with open hands. We owe it to her for making our 9 day stay at Kololo B&B a memorable one
Cons: The fact that we were expecting to be accommodated into a FAMILY ROOM and not a double room. All this was communicated when we booked via booking. com. Also it's called a B&B but there is no breakfast and l wonder whether the daily rate includes breakfast. For us with small kids, breakfast is very important.
Pros: The room was big and clean
Cons: Internet connection was not possible in the room. I could connect to the wi-fi only when sitting outside. I did not have hot water for the shower in the morning.
