Nice staff, decent breakfast, big bed--what more could you want from an off-the-highway motel? It's my go-to place in Kennebunk.
This is a little family owned hotel, that is nothing terribly fancy, but is clean and friendly. They have a pool that the kids a few rooms over seemed to love. It was relatively inexpensive but we could quickly get to Kennebunkport and Kennebunk to enjoy our days.
The owners were very accommodating to us..The hotel was very clean.the area was great! We will definitely be back in the near future. Room 36
There wasn't any thing to complain about.
I was pleasantly surprised by the big room, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on at a hotel. I ll be back for sure! Perfect experience overall.
Reception was friendly and helpful and provided good recommendations and directions in to Kennebunk Port as well as a good place to eat near the hotel. The room was spacious and clean.
Very friendly, helpful and informative staff gave us advice on where to eat, places of interest. Complementary use of telephone was very welcome
tea and coffee making facillities in the room would have been an advantage
The friendliness of your staff. They were very knowledgable about the area and provided a detailed map of points of interest, along with directions on how to get there.
Mr. Charles R. Haeberle, General Manager of the Hotel, gave us all the information about the region from the tourist attractions as well as the gastronomic tour. Your information was extremely valuable in making our stay at The Lodge at Kennebunk very fruitful. The breakfast is also very good.
We have no complaints.
Breakfast was the usual American carb fest.
Charles (GM) made us feel welcome and helped us out in so many ways! The room had beautiful hard wood floors and was larger than expected. Great location - adjacent to interstae but still very quiet and serene. Definitely will go back to this lodge!
The breakfast needs to be expanded, but not too bad for the price.
It was conveniently located if you just wanted a place to sleep.
The bathroom was very very dated and in need of some repair and updating. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate which was a bit unsafe for children as the water became very very very hot.
We were very comfortable at this down home Lodge. The innkeeper was very accommodating and gracious when we arrived late after an exhausting car ride. We enjoyed the restaurant he recommended and we returned both to the Lodge and to the restaurant on our return trip a couple nights later. We enjoyed the town sights and the shopping.
Friendly staff, clean room and easy on and off to I95.
Ice machine was in another building and you had to walk all the way around to get to it.
The host was very nice and informative.
King size bed was very hard on back.
