Pros: Rooms were clean, and nice. Very nice view and not a far walk to your other facility. Mountain lodge. Friendly staff.
Cons: Not much going on on a Monday but should be expected I guess, tv in room was small, building wasn’t very sound proof. Would be nice to have an info booklet in room of things to do at the hotel or the mountain lodge, food and other interesting things near by.
Cons: TV didn't work. Dirty towels in shower. No elevator
Pros: The restaurant and the chef were amazing and so was the food.
Cons: The motel part of the inn could be a little cozier with just a few touches instead of an empty cold feel. The washrooms definitely deserve an upgrade
Pros: Location is amazing! Staff are so nice and helpful. The room is clean and spotless. The last but not the least try their cheese cakes delicious!!
Cons: There is nothing to mention
Pros: The staff are very friendly and accommodating, restaurants are excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel , friendly staff , stunning location,
Pros: It was very clean and well maintained the bed was insanely comfortable. We really enjoyed using the bikes and canoes and also being able to use some of the facilities at the mountain lodge. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was AMAZing from start to finish
Cons: Too many young staff partying at night after the bar closed they were very intoxicated and very loud at 1am. They were also horsing around in the kitchen while we were having dinner so we could hear them in the dinning room at the mountain lodge. I ended up telling my waitress to let them know we could hear all of their plans for the party happening after their shift.
Pros: breakfast was copious, quality was OK. The est thing about this hotel is its staff, next is location We liked it so much we stayed an extra night
Pros: Beautiful place, great location so close to all the best hikes in Killarney park! Staff was very helpful and food at the restaurant delicious Will be coming back in the summer Thank you for a great stay!
With a stay at Killarney Mountain Lodge in Killarney (Manitoulin District), you'll be steps from Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Featured amenities include a business center, luggage storage, and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary during limited hours.
Pros: The bee was very comfortable There could have been a tub for relaxing
Cons: There were no coffee machine, no tv, no microwave And I disliked that there were no additional stairs to get down from the top floor. My spouse is disabled and it was very inconvenient for us to carry all our bags for such a distance. The cost for these rooms is too much for what we were given
Pros: Decor was lovely, staff friendly, scenery gorgeous, conference centre set up for wedding was awesome, food served at wedding was also fantastic, the quiet in the morning is serene and peaceful, it is located in a beautiful spot, we did enjoy it very much
Cons: Found price abit steep, coffee essentials in room would be welcome, could hear neighbours
Pros: I hated everything about that sorry, broken down property.
Cons: the gaming room was in sorry shape. My cabin was bare, nothing you would normally expect from an expensive facility. No television, no air conditioning, no fridge, no coffee maker, no internet. Disgusting bathroom.
Cons: No fridge nor water boiler in the room. If you need water you have to buy it or melt the ice cubes. No cleaning or even garbage disposal within 3 nights of our stay. And the staff seemed overwhelmed with the smallest tasks. That's no place for backpackers and people who want to cook themselves a dinner.
Pros: Scenery, grounds layout, no wristbands, water-edge coffee house, staff provided own phone charger, rental of a working tiny boat for fishing.
Cons: Vaugness of whether or not we had breakfast, vaugness of whether or not a boat was available for fishing (broken? Not broken) before we came (difficult to plan).
Pros: The venue is beautiful and the staff was great! The atmosphere was completely incredible.
Cons: The rooms are very small, dated, and there is no AC or even fans unless you ask. Our room was like a sauna.
Cons: The service was extremely slow
Pros: The property is pretty and is at the end of town with beautiful outlooks onto the lake, decor and style fits in very well with surroundings. Meals amazing.
Cons: My wife, two girls (8 and 10) and I stayed for two nights because we wanted to extend a camping trip to Killarney park and thought this would be a nice relaxing way to do it. I booked 5 months in advance and saw a listing for a quaint bunk bed room which was billed as the former staff quarters at this lodge. It was somewhere in the neighbourhood of 200 a night. I didn’t really look any further, new nothing of the lodge or Killarney for that matter. They also offered a breakfast plan in advance which I purchased as well for 20.00 a person, figuring that if it was that in advance it would likely be more down the road. When I checked in I advised them I’d take three keys 1 for me, 1 for wife and 1 for kids. We went to the room and found that the four of us could hardly stand inside it with the luggage. Be advised that it is really small, no bathroom, no chair, there is a closet and dresser though and double bunk beds. It was smaller than I expected but I had seen the pictures beforehand so I kinda had an idea. The washroom is a community washroom, shower stalls are directly across from toilet stalls. The men’s washroom was dirty with grime on the window sills and the mirror had fallen off the wall. I’m not stuffy but was kind of expecting more than this. There is no tv or any kind of lounge in the ‘barracks’. That’s reserved for the rich people in the rooms across the road it would appear. My wife dropped something behind the dresser and had to pull it out and found 4 mini shampoo bottles, an earring back, hair elastic and 2 soaps. Obviously don’t clean behind there much. As for former staff quarters.... the staff does still reside in this building. Upstairs they have a community room with a stove, couches and a tv that you could watch from outside on the front porch. We spent most of the time at the pool and sauna which were nice. I was blown away at how much nicer the washrooms at the pool were compared to our dorms.
Pros: The location is great. Lots of activities around Killarney. Great hiking and lots of activities on the water. The live music every night was great and we have enjoyed every bit of it.
Cons: Staying here is pricey. There are no phones on the rooms (e.g. to call reception) and I expected better toilet paper :) Servers are not always good & are slow. Too bad quite some excursions are cancelled because of not having enough people.
Pros: Breakfast was great. The grounds & surrounding area was beautiful - very peaceful & relaxing.
Cons: When I book online, the room was supposed to have a bunk bed & the room looks roomy, instead I got a large double bed & a very small room which doesn't even have a chair. Also, it didn't even have a TV.
